Let's see if Shinami can realize somethign he missed before!
1d100 ⇒ 93
Now that you think about it. The old man grabbed the blade on purpose! He could have avoided it to just touch the metal. Maybe he cut himself to mask the allergy to silver? Maybe you attributed his wincing to a normal reaction to a simple cut?
Mechanically he bluffed you and use sleight of hand.

Kayla Adrianas |

Sounds like a lazy weekend for this game. Wish real life would be just as lazy, but no such luck.
"I wonder what the odds are that he has actually left the area? We made out intentions fairly well known to him. Do you all think he may have stuck around the area to see if we would kill off his creations?"

Kayla Adrianas |

Kayla shakes her head no. "I do not want to split up and risk still being seperated at moonrise. Especially since we do not know for sure about Shinami yet. Which also reminds me to raise the question of restraining Shinami tonight, just in case."
Turning to Shinami, she adds apologetically: "I hope you don't take offense to me wanting to restrain you tonight, but it would be safer for both you and us. I really do think we got the dosage right on the Wolfsbane, but I would hate to be wrong."

Cecil Von Spirito |

"Oooo restraints, Kayla? I didn't peg you for the type."Shinami winked at Kayla. "But really, for the safety of all, I agree. We can't take any risks until we know for sure I've been cured."
Cecil begins to rummage through Owen's pack. "I usually keep a pair of manacles in here, though I may not have gotten them back last time I had to use them." Cecil looks up from his pack having had no luck finding manacles. "Don't look at me like that. You'd be suprised how often they are useful. Now, for instance. Regardless I no longer have them. Constable must not have had them returned to me."

Kayla Adrianas |

Teasing back, Kayla replies: "Behave yourself and maybe you'll get find out just what type I am. Though I will go ahead and assure you now that tall, dark and furry is most definitely not my type. Bryce, do you still have your manacles? If so can we put them on Shinami tonight for a non-recreational purpose?"
"Now, moving back on the original topic, where are we going? Are there any other bad wolves left in this area still or did they all die in the fight in town? If there are still more do we take care of them first before going after their maker?"

"I'm still of the opinion that backtrackign from the grave would be insightful and that is my vote."

Cecil is able to lead you to the grave sight with Owen's help.
You see a large pit dug from the earth in a small clearing. It seems that the hole was created by one or more creatures using claws, not shovels. Moreover, the grave is full of mutilated, half-eaten corpses. There is no sign of movement.
For more details, if there are any to be had, commence knowledge and survival rolls.

Owen sniffs around for tracks, etc.
Survival 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24is my body still there?
"perhaps we should burn there for good measure. If the wolves worship an evil diety these bodies are an army waiting to be turned against us.

Brynn Halistack |

"Burn the bodies. I feel as if we'd be in a bit of trouble if we were around this gravesite tonight. I don't know anything about necromancy, but with the werewolves and full moon, I don't even want to risk it."
Sorry for not posting. Birthday leading to camping trip leading straight back into work makes for the interwebs being at a surprising new low on my priority list.

Shinami Genbu |

"Might as well start gathering kindling and such for the fire since we don't have oil." Shinami said as he bent down and started scooping dead leaves and dried up sticks and tossing them down into the grave.
Shinami peaks in at the corpses trying to discern anyting.
Basically, are all the half eaten corpses humans, or were any werewolves from the opposing forces in this civil war?
Perception - 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Survival - 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Knowledge (nature?) - 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Cecil Von Spirito |

Cecil casts the same spell twice (Unseen servant) and says to the air
"Wedge the dry wood under the bodies"
Invisible hands seem to be dragging sticks and wood from the surrounding forest and dragging them into the pit and placing under bodies. moving bodies as necessary.
Edit: Poe (with mule back chord) and Owen assist, though they just drop wood into the pit. They don't get down in it.
The two servants work to put wood under the bodies in the pit more than gathering.

Some of these bodies have blood under their nails and up their forearms, but none are werewolf bodies. Most are human, however there are a few dwarves, one elf for sure, and some halflings...unless those are children...
Everyone tenses up as the bodies start to move aside and wood moves around seemingly on its own. Cecil quickly assures everyone that there is nothing to fear, and that the movement is a result of his "servants" working.
However, a chorus of long, low moaning groans put you right back on edge as the bodies start crawling up the sides of the pit!
You guys go first. Any melee attacks against the bodies in the pit are at an additional +1 height bonus. There is no map for this one sorry. the hole is 10' by 20' and approx. 20' deep though it's filled about half way with angry, writhing corpses...

"I hate being right sometimes."
Cecil cast a spell and a ten foot section of the pit between the group and the undead is covered in a think oil-like substance.
Owen flied down and stands ready to attack anything that comes out of the pit. (readied action)
Spell is in the spoiler. How it reacts to the side of a pit is not spelled out, but I assume it's harder to get up. On a horizontal surface it's DC 10 to not fall. On an incline I imagine it's harder or slide down.
Grease
School: conjuration (creation)
Level: bard 1, sorcerer/wizard 1, summoner 1, magus 1
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Components: V, S, M (butter)
Range: close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets: one object or 10-ft. square
Duration: 1 min./level (D)
Saving Throw: see text
Spell Resistance: no
A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can't move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed.
The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item.
Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Escape Artist checks and combat maneuver checks made to escape a grapple, and to their CMD to avoid being grappled.

Brynn Halistack |

Drawing his greatsword from his back, Brynn steps up to swat some of the corpses back down. After Cecil casts a spell Brynn has seen at least a couple times before, he suddenly realizes something. "That's the oil spell, right? Fire. Cast fire on that!"

Shinami Genbu |

Shinami grabs his one throwing axe and chucks it at the closest corpse, hoping to slow them down for the others to light the substance that Cecil had just conjured.

Osslend Abenier |

Osslend's face first wrinkles in surprise, then scowls in frustration as he steps forward to stand next to Brynn and prepares for the onslaught. With a few hand signals, he orders his hounds to guard his companions.
Ready to attack first target.
Attack:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Damage: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Raleigh will guard Kayla, Virgil will guard Cecil. This means that they basically have readied attacks for anything that threatens either of those people.
Virgil:
Attack:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Raleigh:
Attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Kayla Adrianas |

"Oh eewww.....this is not good." A bit freaked out by the sudden movement of the half-eaten corpses, Kayla throws a fireball into the pit, hoping that the edge of the fireball's radius will also set the grease on fire.
to hit the pit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
damage 5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 1, 1) = 13

I forgot you had that spell...oh my...
Average Zombie Reflex Save 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
...
Kayla reacts instinctively and ignites the pit in Sarenrae's cleansing fire. What was a nightmare waiting to happen is sigularly reduced to the slightly unpleasant smell of burnt hair.
Nice Kayla! Everyone else (not Osslend- you had yours) levels up now.

Cecil Von Spirito |

Are the zombies dealt with or over the next few rounds should I surround the walls of the pit in flaming grease?
Perception checks to see if any of the zombies or bodies are they guy we threw in there. Cecil quietly asks his pets to look. I suspect he got eaten, so also looking for him in the chewed corpses.
Cecil 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Poe 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Owen1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18

Cecil Von Spirito |

Zombies are completely dealt with.
** spoiler omitted **
Back to non-initiative order folks. What's the plan now?
Once the bodies are sufficiently dust I'll do a detect magic to snoop around the pit instructing the unseen servants to move things around as needed. As he searches Cecil absently minded says
"This may or may not have had anything to do with the wolves. We have no evidence either way."
