The Dragoons leap into action: some quite literally. Everyone sets for their attack except Brynn. Brynn charges straight in and scores what would have been a death blow to most men. To the wolf? This grevious wound is no more than a flesh wound.
The wolf lets out a short howl of rage and goes straight back at Brynn! You can visibly see his wounds closing as he attacks.
5 foot step
Claw 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20 for 1d3 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Claw 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26 for 1d3 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Bite 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22 for 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Brynn takes 33 points of damage. Please make a fortitude save.

Round 2 GO GO!
Cecil speaks an arcane incantation and the now familiar feeling of haste courses through your bodies.
Owen comes in to attack again.
Bite 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 2 = 28 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Bite 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 2 = 17 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Owen misses in his haste.
OK, the rest of you, whadayagot?

Brynn Halistack |

Is the fort save vs. a spell, SLA, or supernatural ability? I'm guessing the last one, but I now get a +3 on rolls while raging against any of these.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 <-- add three to that result if so.
Even through Brynn's battle trance and cold eyes, he makes a small grunt in pain at the wolf's onslaught. Brynn's instinct kicks in again as he allows his body to heal some of the minor scratches. His jaw set and locked, the smallest grin comes to his face as the effects of the haste suddenly set in. You ready for this, pup? Brynn unleashes a flurry of hell.
Swift action: Renewed vigor
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Heal
Full attack action: power attacking wolf
Atk: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28

Atk: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
Dmg: 2d6 + 17 ⇒ (6, 4) + 17 = 27
Atk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Dmg: 2d6 + 17 ⇒ (2, 4) + 17 = 23
Also: dunno if I read the wording wrong, but Owen's 28 missed?! Yikes.
Edit: add another 2 to my fort roll, forgot to add extra con from rage.

![]() |

The wolf parries and turns all but 1 of Brynn's powerful attacks. The attack lands with thunderous force, but somehow has limited effect on the wolf.
Total of 22/25 depending on source of save then?
Yes a 28 missed. I'm not sure you guys were fully prepared to fight this guy yet, but let's see what happens! Disclaimer: running away to come back later is not pansy.

Shinami Genbu |

Shinami swiftly tumbles behind the raging werewolf and aims a kidney blow with his silver knuckles.
Acrobatics to avoid AOO 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
Silver Knuckles 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 281d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Add plus 1 to hit for haste, and plus 2 for flanking to whatever number the hit was
Sneak Attack for Flanking 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7
Pressure point damage for anytime I use sneak attack 1 damage to Dex

Shinami Genbu |

Total of 22 if not supernatural, spell, or SLA. 25 if it is, yes.
Shinami, no need to tumble/acrobatics for a five-foot step. Unless you like being fancy. Aw, you fancy, huh?
Shoot, I couldn't remember if diagonals counted more than 5 ft or not.
And you know me. I'm all fancy. Hey, at least I didn't just haul off and grab a raging werewolf again aye?

First diagonal is five, second is 10, rinse, repeat.

Haste grants an extra attack, but not an extra action. Sorry Kayla, you can't cast two spells.
Kayla targets the wolf with a streak of fire from he palm and hits! The fire burns away a patch of hair and leaves a rancid smell in the air.
ROUND 3
The wolf steps away from Shinami and attacks Brynn!
Claw 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21 for 1d3 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Claw 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33 for 1d3 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Crit Confirm 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 for 1d3 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 Confirmed!
Brynn takes 41 damage and is down 3/4 of his health!
Please make a fortitude save

Cecil Von Spirito |

I have to concentrate on my paper soon, so here's my round 3 actions.
In attempt to contain the slashing beast Cecil speaks an arcane word and creates a square with his hands and thrusts downward. As he does so the ground itself warps and twists as it seems to open in an attempt to swallow the werewolf.
I'm not entirely sure of the setup, but I'm going to try to hit the werewolf and not my companions in the pit. I think Owen is flanking with Brynn so Cecil will open the split Brynn and the wolf leaving Owen and the wolf to (theoretically) fall in the pit.
Regardless Wolf needs a reflex save of 17 not to fall in. Those in adjacent squares make the same save, but with a +2 bonus.
Simultaneously Owen attacks the wolf with a flurry of teeth and claws
Bite 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 141d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Claw1 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 131d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Claw21d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 171d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Subtract 2 to the attack rolls if he's not flanking
Free trip if bite hits CMB 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
I assume if the wolf is tripped he falls in the hole regardless of his save, but your call.
After his flurry of attacks Owen will flap his wings in order to momentarily push himself into the air and away from the pit forming beneath him. (5'step?)
If Owen still needs a Reflex to avoid falling in the pit 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
already calculated the +2 bonus
school conjuration (creation); Level sorcerer/wizard 2,
summoner 2
casting Time 1 standard action
components V, S, F (miniature shovel costing 10 gp)
range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
effect 10-ft.-by-10-ft. hole, 10 ft. deep/2 levels
Duration 1 round + 1 round/level
saving Throw Reflex negates; spell resistance no
You create a 10-foot-by-10-foot extradimensional hole with
a depth of 10 feet per two caster levels (maximum 30 feet).
You must create the pit on a horizontal surface of sufficient
size. Since it extends into another dimension, the pit has
no weight and does not otherwise displace the original
underlying material. You can create the pit in the deck of a
ship as easily as in a dungeon floor or the ground of a forest.
Any creature standing in the area where you first conjured the
pit must make a Reflex saving throw to avoid falling into it.
In addition, the edges of the pit are sloped, and any creature
ending its turn on a square adjacent to the pit must make a
Reflex saving throw with a +2 bonus to avoid falling into it.
Creatures subjected to an effect intended to push them into
the pit (such as bull rush) do not get a saving throw to avoid
falling in if they are affected by the pushing effect.
The pit’s coarse stone walls have a Climb DC of 25. When the
duration of the spell ends, creatures within the hole rise up with
the bottom of the pit until they are standing on the surface over
the course of a single round.
Edit: Lol. I posted this before you said for round 3 actions. also, My rolls suck.

Cecil Von Spirito |

If the wolf falls in the pit consecutive rounds will involve Cecil greasing the wolf to make the walls hard to climb. Presumably one of his companions will light it on fire. ;-) If he doesnt fall in the pit Owen will attempt to bull rush/trip him until he falls in then cecil will proceed to grease it up. Gotta work now. See you all later.

Shinami Genbu |

Seeing his friend in danger, Shinami steps into the fray again, trying to keep the angsty werewolf from devouring Brynn.
Werewolf has his attention on Brynn, so
Acrobatics (to keep my footing from being close to the edge) 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Silver Knuckles 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 211d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Sneak Attack (If stealth is successful)2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6
Haste Extra Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 251d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Sneak Attack (If stealth is successful)2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12
Ki Strike Extra Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 231d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Sneak Attack (If stealth is successful)2d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2
If Sneak attack hits, each one causes 1 point of Dexterity damage.

Brynn Halistack |

Brynn now howls in pain at the wolf's furious attack and suddenly, strangely cringes at Kayla's healing energies. Just picked up Superstitious as a rage power, hope I don't make the save! While still panting for his breath, Brynn does only what he knows to do at this point in a fight. Kill or be killed. He goes in for a hasted attack.
Will save for Kayla's heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
What's the DC?
Full attack action: power attacks on asswolf.
Atk: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
Dmg: 2d6 + 17 ⇒ (3, 3) + 17 = 23
Atk: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
Dmg: 2d6 + 17 ⇒ (3, 4) + 17 = 24
Atk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Dmg: 2d6 + 17 ⇒ (2, 6) + 17 = 25
Oh, and fort save for wolf's attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 (+3?)
Oooh, oh, and confirm a crit?
Atk: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34 (+anatomist)
Dmg: 2d6 + 17 ⇒ (4, 3) + 17 = 24
Also, I just realized I've got an extra +2 bonus to Con while raging haha. Forgot about raging vitality :/
Another also: I'm pretty sure your crit didn't land. I've got haste for a +1 AC :)
Edit: added 2 to my roll for Kayla's heal save, forgot about my rage bonus to will saves as well. God, I hate posting from a work computer.

Osslend Abenier |

Wary of the pit but anxious to get in on the action, Osslend and his hounds move toward Cecil staying clear of the pit. Osslend grits his teeth and readies his weapon as his hounds bare their own teeth.
Come on ya lump of fur. Step my way.
Moved on map. Osslend and Virgil are readied if the wolf enters any adjacent square. Their action is a coordinated push to push (bullrush, knowing I'll take the OA) the wolf into the pit. With the coordinated maneuvers feat, they get bonuses.
Raleigh is held.
If readied actions go off:
Osslend: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Virgil: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Kayla Adrianas |

I forgot that since I'm 6th level now my domains grant me a couple things.
Fire Resistance (Ex): At 6th level, you gain resist fire 10. This resistance increases to 20 at 12th level. At 20th level, you gain immunity to fire.
Will save for half for the cure serious, DC 18. Correcting the amount healed, it should have been 16+1/2=24 and then half of 24=12. So if you made the DC I only healed you for 12 points of damage.
Hah Cecil, I start getting fire resistance now. :P

Brynn Halistack |

Will save for half for the cure serious, DC 18. Correcting the amount healed, it should have been 16+1/2=24 and then half of 24=12. So if you made the DC I only healed you for 12 points of damage.
I really wish I hadn't remembered my +2 to will saves while raging for once...

Cecil Von Spirito |

Round 4
Owen attempts a full round attack on the werewolf
Bite 1 (haste) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 151d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Free trip attempt if hits 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Bite 2 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 111d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Free trip attempt 2 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Claw 1 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 251d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Claw 2 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 221d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Cecil ready's himself to cast Grease if the Wolf gets tripped into the pit.

![]() |

Brynn unloads a vicious attack that leaes the wolf looking for a way out of this fight.
Owen adds his own attack to the mix and manages to land a slashingcut with his sharp claws.
The readied actions miss.
AoO from Virgil 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 for 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Hit! no damage though...
Free Trip 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
The wolf withdraws, runing for the safety of the forest! Osslend and Virgil are ready for him, but the wolf proves too crafty and he eludes the pair.

Cecil Von Spirito |

The wolf is now 65 feet away from Virgil and still running. He is faster than y'all are so a chase will last a while. Just a heads up, you do what you want. I do not mean to dissuade you from any course of action.
Edit: change "not" to "now"
Owen has a base fly speed of 60 (without haste) feet so he would try to chase him down and grapple him to the ground. Meanwhile everyone else is hasted so most of the medium humanoids have a base land speed of 60' at least until haste wears off in a few rounds.
Owen CMB 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 (Owen will be attacking from higher ground (flying vs not), so I think he gets a bonus. +2 if memory serves though I did not include it here)
Cecil will run (60'X4=240') to keep Owen within range.
Woot: Nat 20! If that doesn't do it nothing will. If cecil can catch up he'll open another pit under the now grappled wolf and Owen.

Cecil Von Spirito |

Cecil Von Spirito wrote:hasteHaha, forgot about haste affecting speed as well. Make that 140 feet for my No Escape. I think I can catch up just fine :)
We're all hasted and Owen (probably) just tackled him. I suspect he's about to get the crap kicked out of him.
Cecil yells to Poe as he chases after Owen and the wolf, "Keep an eye on him from the air."
He then thinks to himself
"Where the hell are those silver axes?"

Cecil Von Spirito |

I forgot Haste! Go get him guys!
Owen flaps his wings and lands hard on the wolf, dragging him to the ground in a tangled heap.
I'm unsure of distance traveled, but if I assume it's less than 210 feet away (150 spell range +60' move action)
Cecil will open a pit under Owen and the wolf seconds after Owen drags him to the ground.
Saves are the same as last time, but the wolf is presently grappled, so he has to both free himself (on his turn) and make the ref save. You can adjudicate that however you think is fair.

Cecil Von Spirito |

Weird question, but can two people grapple the same person? Kinda like piling on bodies so the werewolf in question can't get away/move?
Cecil: Bryce has one I have one
DOG PILE!!!
Cecil's plan for the next few rounds is to grease 3 of the 4 walls of this 10X10 pit while owen keeps him busy inside and have one of the burly guys standing at that last wall with a readied action to attack the wolf as he leaves. I think this guy is boned. ;-)
