I'll fix it next time I move the block along, I included the -1 in the stat block, I need to just get rid of and stop doign the +1d6 fire damage, its only confusing me.

CMW: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13

Sorry about that, I don't know why I'm having the toughest time remembering Prayer's effect!

Hlifkom Ingfrothi |
Hlifkom will once again point at Uktak, issuing forth a murderous command. DC 15 Will Save

Tika, teetering on the verge of death, summons all her might and delivers a powerful blow that rocks Tygora's, just as the cold grasp of fear seems to fall across Tygora's face, Tika delivers an even more punishing blow, slamming her lance straight into Tygora's heart. Manuk isn't content to let her go down with nipping her as well and delivers a powerful beaky bite to the dead Tygora.
Uktak, taken aback by his mistress frail form falling to the floor is caught by surprise when Hlifkom hits him with a spell.
Will Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 And he is overcome with anger and rage, looking at the Red Drake, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? DO SOMETHING, THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" raising is scimitar in anger toward the drake.
He walks over the Red Drake, provoking an attack from Anastasia, red faced with anger(which is hard to tell since he is an Ifrit), and cuts into the drake.

Scimitar: 1d6 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17

I 100% did not expect Murderous Command to work given the low DC.
GM Cody |
Sorry Xaikai, Tika isn't dead, I was just explaining why she wasn't at 50 hitpoints. You had healed her to 50 hitpoints, then she dropped out of rage, losing 14 hitpoints bringing her back to 64. Had you not healed her last she would have died though. Otherwise she is alive with 2 hp and fatigued.
Professor Cosmo Berrythwaite |
Sprite understood that. It still works as a 5d8 cure spell. She just wanted to get Tika back into the fight — Tika is our primary damage output.
Professor Cosmo Berrythwaite |
I 100% did not expect Murderous Command to work given the low DC.
Yeah, that was awesome it worked!
Ranar "The Risen" |
Advancing forward Ranar exclaims, "I have had enough of you." and hurls a force bomb at Uktaks chest.

GM Cody |
Yeah I was wondering about Gamin, could he still have been casting guidance or giving his +1 to people while lying on the ground? Yeah I just wanted to make sure about that Breath of Life, its an expensive scroll
Uktak's luck is quickly turning on him, his mistress is dead, his life in shambling and this damn elf won't quit throwing bombs at him.

Anastasia and Ranar are without a computer for a few more days, she gave me permission to Bot her character.
Anastasia runs over to Uktak, swinging around in a pincer formation, screaming at the top of her lungs as she pours all her raging strength into this next attack.
Raging Power Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 9 + 2 + 2 = 32 Potential Crit :)

Huzzah!
And with Tika's last valiant charge, she lays low the foul Flame Drake Menace. This for the most part ends combat. Through examination after the fight and with the help of the Pathfinders you can see that the area under them in a 10-foot square is trapped. If anyone enters or if the Pathfinders try to move, this flame eruption trap will go incinerating them.
They are badly damaged right now, and bound and gagged.
I don't know if any of you can Dispel Magic or disable device magical traps so you can always just try to heal them up and hope they survive :/
Hlifkom Ingfrothi |
Hlifkom will move over to Cosmo's unconscious form, channeling her divine power through him. She will expend a daily use of fervor.
Fervor: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Gently prodding his face, she will attempt to wake Cosmo up from his unconsciousness. "Come now, Master Berrythwaite, dreams of a fedora that doubles as a pipe can wait for this evening. We need your nimble fingers to free our friends."

GM Cody |
Seems allowable, I'm willing to work with ya on this one, if you miss the DC by 5 or mor though it'll set the trap off so you guys might want to heal them up. The three pathfinders are at 20/61 hp after. Ciakais channel and the Oread councilman is at like 20/40
Xiakai |
Tikaketsu "Tika" |
Unfortunately neither Manuk or Tika are able to dispel or disable any traps.
Professor Cosmo Berrythwaite |
"Ugh. My head. Wha- what happened?" Cosmo sits up and looks around at the carnage of the room. "Did we win?"
When the situation is explained to him he says, "Well, there's not much I can do about those traps. I never could get the hang of disabling magical traps. Ranar's plan sounds good though, let's go with that. Might be a good idea to heal up these fellas before we try though."
I'm not sure how we are going to heal them if we can't get close to them?
GM Cody |
I marked the trap squares on the map, so as long as you avoid this you can touch the prisoners with healing spells, you just can't drag them off the squares or anything.
Xiakai |
Xiakai will move over to the Pathfinder she recognizes as another cleric. She will Channel for the last time today before she begins healing Kira.
Channel: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6) = 15/2=7 hp for all within 30ft
CLW spell: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
"I recognize you as a fellow cleric. Kofusachi and Sarenae will surely bless our success! Kaaw!", she exclaims while offering her a drink from her holy flask.
Ranar "The Risen" |
"It seems that we will need to rely on channeling or close range healing spell to get them ready. Please let me know when those that can heal are out of resources so I know when to start."
Xiakai |
Heal, untrained: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
how much more healing does Kira need? I'm trying to use my remaining resources wisely if I can
"Cluck, cluck, we'll have you feeling better in no time my dear, then you too can heal the others, you'll see," Xiakia mutters while healing Kira.

Admittedly, at this point they are healed up enough that max damage from the trap can't even knock 'em unconscious. I'll do a wrap up post tonight after work! The rest of the rooms in this palace have been cleared out. Any creatures or denizens got moved around to assist in the defense of the Palace.
Good Job guys, you got some cool boons, missed out on a really cool boon but that's okay! It was a fun scenario and I had a blast GMing. Thanks guys! Hlifkom, I'll get you a dropbox link to your chronicle today/tonight, everyone else I'll print and hand out at soonest time I see ya again!

Working together, you guys are able to free the Pathfinder's from their predicament, as well as the Oread Councilmember, Glaheri.
News of Tygora’s defeat spreads quickly through Crystalcrag, and the oreads respond with a mix of disbelief, relief, and confusion about what the future holds. Eurdan Stonemantle does his best to organize and encourage the newly liberated geniekin, though he is better able to lead them with the help of Glaheri. As you guys took care to minimize ifrit casualties where possible you help preserve the town’s stability, the oreads and ifrits take the first steps in reconciling their differences, reintegrating the two populations, and keeping Crystalcrag united.
As you guys head home, laden with gifts and supplies for the return journey, Lem, Kira and Harsk are grateful for the speedy rescue.
Yay good job!
