"Yes, I was told that I was to be sacrificed in particular due to my vow of non-violence; taunted as my colleagues were slaughtered all around me. I have had time to reflect, and your arrival is proof from my goddess that my actions are not to blame for what has happened."
Lorelendral Teklet |
"a vow of non-violence is a hard road to travel, for this is a harsh world with a lot of dangers... I am impressed that you have managed to keep your vow under such dire circumstances. I'm sure you are not to blame for anything, and happy to know you feel the hand of your goddess guiding you onward on this path..."
GM BPChocobo TK1 |
"Thank you for your kind words.", the trio ready to head out with the group.
Although your original guide was lost to the cult, Samar and Haljit can eventually lead the way once you return to some familiar territory.
Upon arrival at the Thakur's palace, you realize that another assassination attempt had been thwarted: two guards tried to attack the ruler in his sleep, but luckily Raheem had prepared for such an attempt after his own kidnapping and silent mercenaries dispatched the traitorous guard.
Both Lord Raheem and Thakur Kharswan greet you warmly, and with the bevy of intel you found, Raheem immediately sends trusted agents to make use of this information and begin hammering the final nail in the Ebon Destroyers' coffin.
Meanwhile, Kharswan, even as ruler, bows to the party. "You do not know how great a justice you have done to this country. My people will tell grand tales of your heroics and I will make sure that the people Inner Sea hears of the majestic glory you have rightfully earned. You and your Pathfinder Society shall always have a warm home here in Jalmeray."
Kharswan then 'orders' the party to relax as several attendants begin serving dates, wine, and cheese while a grand feast is prepared. The next several days are filled with rejoicing, celebration, and gifts of good, honors, and luxuries. Amarthecthel and Twigg are offered membership into their choice of one of the monasteries in the fabled House of Perfection. Velidor is offered a personal safari mission led by the Thakur's best guides while Lorelendral and Pelkin become religious figures for their deities, now figureheads and honorary leaders of the small churches of Sarenrae and Desna that exist in the island nation.
Furthermore, the Apananda Silk Mill has been seized by the government and is gifted to the Society as use for their new lodge.
Other offerings to the party include a consort of choice, pet tigers or hunting eagles, and personalized sets of silk garments. In all, the Thakur's thanks is nearly overwhelming, such is his generosity to the newest heroes of Jalmeray!
While you are not allowed to keep anything of monetary value, any of the titles, recognitions, or intrinsic rewards are fair game :) I didn't add them to your chronicles, but feel free to add anything you feel appropriate! You practically saved an entire country after all!

Ah, so we earned the key to the city, er, country, did we?
Lorelendral Teklet |
burnt out healer? - was that because I was out of channels and almost out of spells?
Lore enjoys all the attention, but tells her companions, "With all this attention we are getting here, and the feasting and all, how about I cook something special for you when we return to Absalom?
For that eventuality:
profession chef: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
damn, cant get better than a nat 20!
Velidor Gamestalker |
"Lovely meal Lore..."
Lorelendral Teklet |
Lore glows at the praise, and gives Vel a little curtsy. "Thank you! It really was the best I could do for my special friends. You guys are all so awesome!"
GM BPChocobo TK1 |
@Lore: Yeah, but without you spamming those channels and CSW/CCW, it would have been a slaughter against Ikrimah!
After a safe journey back to Absalom, Lore cooks a fantastic feast using techniques, spices, and ingredients gifted from Thakur Kharswan and Lord Raheem.
Rats, if I waited a bit longer on the chronicle, I'd have Lore's chronicle note be given exotic spices and recipes from the royal chefs of Jalmeray!
Lorelendral Teklet |
that would have been cool.. I'm gonna add them to her equipment list anyway... you could always send out a new chronicle sheet, lol
Lorelendral Teklet |
thanks!!!
Amarthecthel |
Amarthecthel thoroughly enjoys the delicious meal and lingers over it while the companions relax after their voyage.
"Lorelendral Teklet, I'm thinking of marrying you," he says, laughing. "Or perhaps just stealing your book of recipes. Which one would work out better for me, do you think?"
Lorelendral Teklet |
"Steal my recipe book and I'll smack your behind with a hot frying pan! What a thought! On the other hand, don't you think we'd make a comical sight trying to dance together at our wedding? How about when I retire from this Pathfinder business, you just come and frequent my restaurant often... You will always be welcome at the chef's table, my friend."
Amarthecthel |
Amarthecthel laughs, a silvery, elvish sound. "Well, my heart will be broken, but I'll eat well. So that's alright. More wine?"
[END]
Thanks everyone! Hope we can get the band back together!

Yeah, at this point, I'm going to close this campaign, but I'll message people in a couple of months to see what should be next!
