It looks like we're about to more-or-less wind up this adventure once that goblin dies or escapes, and then obviously we'll do Keep of the Huskarl King next to complete the trilogy, but what are people thinking next? Will we want to keep pursuing the adventures of these characters, or maybe give them a break and work with some others?

I'm fine with either option, but my only other PFS character is Ean Rulis, a LN human Phalanx Soldier who's about to become a Hellknight Commander. Maybe this is too early to bring this up, just curious about where everyone wants to go. I like gaming with you guys!

Guys/Gal ..I'd like to a little bit of bookkeeping as we wind down and I'll need some help. So what I'd like first is all remaining charges on your wands..everyone who owns a wand whether the consider it a "group resource" or not please list the name and remaining charges as of this post please.

Then I'll need a list of all your remaining potions..again if it's a "shared resource" please list it as yours..if you chipped in together to buy it (which I don't think ur allowed to do in society it falls under , "the no borrowing money clause") Even if u did chip in (legal or not we'll deal with that another time) I'll need you to pick an owner.

the same goes for scrolls or any other expendable magic..

Lastly I need a list of all alchemical supplies remaining...who owns them and who is carrying them. Again if there's a group dynamic pick some owners..

I'll need everyone to list this for only their character in the discussion thread please (herolab files, inventory tracking sheet pdfs not acceptable, I want it here so we can sort it out together)

For future reference I'm going to list reprint PFSDR definition of disabled which is the condition you are under (for 1 round only) when orc Ferocity is active. Here it is: A character with 0 hit points, or one who has negative hit points but has become stable and conscious, is disabled. A disabled character may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can he take full-round actions, but he can still take swift, immediate, and free actions). He moves at half speed. Taking move actions doesn’t risk further injury, but performing any standard action causes 1hp dmg

OK so it's pretty clear you only get 1 action while disabled unless you have free, swift, or immediate actions available..normally taking a potion involves retrieving a stored item (move action) and drinking potion (standard action That is not strenuous so no hp dmg.) the problem is unless the potion is already in hand...Orc Ferocity almost never allows you to heal yourself before dying...
So unless you somehow figure out a way to swift action a healing implement to your hand (a la spring loaded wand thingy) your pretty screwed in saving yourself. I think the flavor is in the wording of the ability and how the authors intended it to play out mechanically. There's nothing ferocious about quaffing a potion to keep living. But that orc that kept attack Aragon after he'd run it through...now that was ferocious!

For future reference also, if you ever happen to get a spring loaded sheath or two, you can now load potions and scrolls as well as small weapons or wands. They allow you to get items in your hands for a swift action.

Wait, what? So am I not climbing? Do I need to redo my turn (in which case, I assume I get my reroll back)? Because if there is a flipping goblin in the pit, Jamir is not going to leave Jawhar standing there with his armor down around his ankles.

Edit: I'm sorry, Luckless, but I just reread your last post, and I can't tell if you mean that the goblin fell before Jamir started climbing or not. If Jamir is halfway up the wall, I guess I will wait to see what happens on Jawhar's turn before I decide whether he will climb back down. If the goblin hit the ground before Jamir started climbing, of course, he would never have started at all.

we are out of initiative though..unless Jawhar takes the 5-6hp from the 1d6 dmg the goblin will cause him if he doesn't move out of the way..
btw...I don't believe you ever picked up your smelling salts after you fell un-conscious did jamir? If there's a post that I missed let me know..otherwise you two have been stomping around in the pit for a few rounds and there's loose insect husk on the floor..I figure DC:12 perception move action to spot them and another move action to pick them up (remember they're un-stoppered maybe a DC:15 perception to locate the cap within a minute?)

If Jawhar gets knocked un-conscious we will remain in initiative.. if not just roll play how you handle the goblin and as long as Craggark remained standing and stable himself ..I don't think there's an emergency above the pit..

Yeah, I thought that Orc Ferocity might have been dumb like that, but I'm happy to hear about the wrist sheath-potion possibility.

to be precise I don't think a spring loaded wrist sheath is designed for a potion..But, the game designers are always coming up with new equipment.. the wand wrist sheath was just to point out the corner case where it would work..(in fact if u took ranks in UMD it could work for u too I guess or just dipped in to a class that can use a wand of cure lt....mid max ..that's what Pathfinder Society is all about baby!)

The recent PFS Campaign Clarification Lia quoted is pretty clear on that point. Wand, scroll, potion, or dagger is fine. Metamagic rods, unfortunately not.

Edit: just noticed that Lia quoted the entry for regular wrist sheaths in Ultimate Equipment. Scroll down further to Adventurer's Armory instead for the spring-loaded version and you will see the same ruling:

This isn't urgent at all, but I think I'm going to go Trap Breaker instead of Grenadier. The slayer dip will give me martial proficiencies anyway, TB gives me trapfinding (which the party badly needs!) and I can still get Precise Bombs at next level so you should all be safer. No downside!

Just a short interlude to all the players in this scenario ...it's been a fun ride so far! And fear not we will continue to the last scenario in this series and possibly beyond! There is a group dynamic here that is more akin to campaign style play rather than "one off Society adventures" that, I must confess..."I do love". So, much like Ana and Craggark's impeding nuptials (tehe), our our Hearts and Swords will go on as long as this group sticks together!

This is my way of telling you despite my grumpiness at times I do enjoy your hi-jinx lady and gents! What's more Keep of the Huscarl King doesn't necessarily hafta be the end of this group's adventures..? That being said, I remain firm about taking a break after we wrap up this one ( probably within' a week? two at most); We will begin the third of the trilogy a week or so after the 1st part of game-day 6 ends...fair enough...

Oh if your intent on keeping the band together..you should discuss the scenarios and or module you'd like to play most (with this team) after you finish the Shades of Ice trilogy.

I like the idea of a break (we've been playing these guys pretty constantly for most of a year now) and love the idea of continuing as a group.

I'm okay with the Northern regional theme, though my motivation there is partially selfish--if a large chunk of enemies are vulnerable (or at least not resistant) to fire, then I can spend my Discoveries on things other than "bomb does X damage type". That being said, I don't feel super strongly about it if people want to go further abroad--and if we do, I vote for stuff from Season 5, Year of the Demon! Heard a lot of good things about that season's scenarios, but haven't gotten to play any yet.

Sounds good to me. I admit I am finding Jamir to be a little bit frustrating to play, as much as I love the character. I am hopeful that the boosts that will come with 3rd level (and a couple of minor changes I will make under the rebuild rules) will make him more satisfying to play.

That one sounds pretty fun. Some of us will only be 2nd level though ;)

As for season 5, I've recently played a couple of missions from season 5 (that's where I encountered Lia's player) but only at Tier 1-2. That means I can replay them, right?

Like I've said before, I don't have the breadth of experience the rest of you have, so I'm free to play just about anything.

The sanctioned material for Daughters of Fury is for levels 2-4, 3-5, and 4-6 (there are 3 parts). We should be able to stick together.

I believe only certain scenarios are replayable at tier 1-2 (The Confirmation, for example); I don't think anything is considered repayable for credit at higher levels.

I have played most of season 6 and about half of season 5 so far. I will give you a link to my session tracker if that helps(I just have to figure out how to get a shareable link to it.)

I am already promised to a GM for Daughters of Fury, but I can ask the GM if he has room for the group here, including luckless of course, and is willing to run it as a PbP game. I have a feeling he would be willing to do it, but I will have to check. He has plenty of PbP experience, but only one PbP GM experience, and I enjoyed reading that run very much.

I'll check my wish list for this character and get back to the group soon. I just know I want this character to stick with this team, because it is starting to really feel like a campaign game instead of a random scenario. Continuity, immersion and a real feeling of friendship is something I enjoy most about role playing. And the crazy humor of this last encounter is something you have to experience to believe it. I am not going to want to miss the next wacky thing we end up doing and somehow survive...
