Never actually used it before, figured a dragon would be a good time to try it out. Turns out I like it quite a bit! Think I might try to Dex mutagen next to up my bomb abilities.

I recognize that there were some player/GM dynamics that got a bit strained in this last set of encounters.

I apologize for the part I played in those issues. I got a bit of character fatigue and also probably allowed some external frustrations impact my in game interactions.

I can only imagine the fatigue that you must deal with as a GM trying to keep this running smoothly. It probably doesn't help having a group consisting of four other GMs and one lower experience player who won't stop chiming in about rules you were already aware of.

I will try to limit my chiming in in future games. (I need to learn to do this FtF as well).

At the same time, I want to try to help out where I can. That was why I tried to start running a buff counter for you. It was just one thing that you didn't need to worry about. If that wasn't helpful to you, I won't continue in the future.

Lia makes a fine sculpture of the dragon they defeated, after a detailed study of the corpse they brought back with them...

oh how campaign style play would be with that. I am sure we would find all sorts of alchemical and magical things we could do with a little dragon skin or dragon blood. PFS isn't one for that, but we can still imagine the story without the mechanics. Perhaps there is something on the chronicle related to that.

Each of us should take one of the teeth or claws and make a pendant to show our group as an adventuring band, possibly calling them selves something with dragon in the name. Ah well, it is all good.

We still need to figure out what our next adventure should be, and while I am spoken for Daughters of Fury with another character and GM I suppose since it hasn't happened yet, I could use a replay for it when ever that time comes, which may be a long while. If you guys want to do it, I would be fine.

That goes for the other players as well. If my interactions caused your enjoyment to wane at the end of the game, I apologize.

I will do a better job of sticking to having fun and focusing on role-playing and not so much on the roll-playing.

My "death" had a serious impact on my connection with this character. That's not an excuse, just an admission of something I need to work through better in the future.

This is the game I keep coming back to - the fact that I have such strong emotional reactions to this game tells me that I want to continue this group.

Jawhar, you've got nothing to apologise for, and if you do, then I had better start grovelling for all the apologising that I need to do as well.

No Day Job for Craggark yet - but that'll change soon enough once he completes some more faction goals...

Luckless, as Jawhar said, I appreciate the extra effort and world-building you are putting into these scenarios, you have really turned it into a campaign within the PFS campaign.

Lia, your character - and the way you play her - is a wonderful addition to the group, and I appreciate the PFS experience (and cool head) that you bring to our discussion thread.

As for the rest of you, I wouldn't change a thing - and Jamir feels an even closer kinship to Jawhar, Torvald, and Craggark now that he too has fallen unconscious due to a combination of poor life choices and bad dice rolls.

Last thing - Luckless, I think the only thing I'm going to change about Jamir before we play next (under the rebuild rules) is swapping out the Tactician trait for Dangerously Curious. Tactician sounded good, but the +1 on one attack of opportunity per day is situational and difficult to remember. I'm also rethinking whether I want Jamir to take a level of bard at all, and if he does, it will probably be around 6th level - I want to get through 5 levels of swashbuckler without getting sidetracked. Most likely, though, Jamir will go directly into Halfling Opportunist for levels 6-10 (yes, that means Jamir's reckless decisions are really just getting started).

These are both great ideas.

I am not sure that you really want to show off a tooth from a dragon the size of a cat though. Kind of ruins the gains of bragging about killing a dragon. :)

I think I'll grab a small vial of dragon's blood and have it transferred to a more decorative container once we reach a civilized country again.

As for party name, how about "Doom of Aralantrrx"?

Hmmm... I'd love to get a sun or fire reference in there.

Ok chronicle sheets are in the Ether of the internet! This scenario is reported! Those of you who have leveled can start dreaming about all the goodies you get at lv 2! You'll notice the date on the chronicles is listed at Aug 23rd. that's the date I wanted to wrap up this game by.
It shouldn't effect any of your characters as we started May 31st..so technically your characters will be eligible for boons dating back to Aug. 23...

PS. Don't forget to help cure Torvald of rabies! otherwise will cost him $ and you guys time!

I am not making any modifications to Jawhar other than equipment. I am spending the majority of my money getting a Mwk Agile Breastplate and Mwk Buckler.

I think I'll stock up PP for possible future spellcasting needs.

As mentioned before, I'll be switching Torvald over to the Trap Breaker archetype, which doesn't change anything at first level but starting at second level gives me trapfinding (which the party could use) in exchange for poison resistance, which I already have because dwarf. Eventually I'll be able to make land-mines and disarm traps by blowing them up, but for now just getting Perception/Disable Device bonuses is good enough.

Also going to buy a Handy Haversack with my "Wormwood Mutiny" chronicle gold, so the overburdened thing shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Does anyone have any requests for alchemical items? I'm considering making a siege bomb for 200gp (600gp, 6d6dmg, 30lbs; Ultimate Combat) because its funny, but then I'd have to lug it around.

That sounds great, Torvald. As it happens, I was just about to post about a bunch of gear Jamir is going to sell unless someone else wanted to lug it around - Nag of Holding is a fun RP idea but doesn't seem to really work out, and I need to get Jamir to light without having to drop and pick up his backpack at every encounter. If Torvald has room in that haversack, though, Jamir might ask him to hold some things for him.

I'm using the Snows of Summer gold to buy Jamir a mithral chain shirt and a masterwork buckler, which will give him a combined armor check penalty of 0.

With my new level of brawler, I'm picking up 'Dirty Fighting' as a combat feat. I'm still shy of the money that I need for a mithral chain shirt, so I'm holding on any big purchases.

Ok so let me know if you want me to keep this thread open (really doesn't mater much to me just a little clutter on my campaign page), Otherwise expect a "check-in" email to all of you about mid Oct.. and by late Oct. I'll have the third part of Shades of Ice..up on the threads..expect the usual drill some introductory roll play (not nearly as much as this one) before we get in to the scenario proper. We will be spending a few days on the discussion form hammering out what we like and what we don't about the games so far and making compromises to keep the game enjoyable and less edgy. So we'll make it a priority to hammer out a social contract between players, and players and GM before we go full swing in to the next adventure. (although there may be some exposition and character arc roll play stories being played in the game-play thread simultaneous to working on our "game-play agreement") My only expectation is everyone should bring something (or several things) to the table about what they'd like to see improved and that everyone bring something to the table of how they'd like the GM to help develop their character's story.

It's been really fun so far guys and girl! Look forward to moving on ..Let's take a break and we'll start up soon..
