What types of stuff does it have and all?

I guess I'm going to forgo the fursona race due to not being able to aces it. I'll post my character later tonight.

I unfortunately could not tell you everything that it offers, but it does offer a Japanese Fashion Show, the Honey Tea Maid Cafe, various fan ran panels for various things (Anime, Manga, Crafts, Costume Making), and more.

If you are interested in checking it out more, the website is animestl.net

Hey Red Velvet Tiger, I was doing some of the last bits of crunch on one of my characters and I have a few questions about gear related things. You mentioned that characters start with 600,000 gp and that's less then normal but 17th level characters normally only get 410,000 gp. and also do you run item creation feats and wbl like they suggest in ultimate campaign? (one creation feat nets you +25% wealth by level any more then that nets you +50%)

Robot: I think crafting came up earlier in the thread and it was decided that you could craft things at half price from your starting wealth if you had the appropriate feats and the spellcraft to make the checks if you take 10.

Of course the 25% WBL thing tracks pretty closely to what you actually get if you take Craft Wondrous Item and buy all those at half-off.

Ah, must have missed that.

hey, is the thread still taking character submissions? Got kind of slammed by real life before I could put one together a few days ago, so figured to ask.

Submissions should be open through tomorrow. ^^

Hmmm, and if we have friends/party members with crafting feats? Given that we're a party of adventurers who've been travelling together for years in some cases, it might make sense to use those prices across the board, even for those without caster levels.

Billy, put it up as public, so hopefully you can access it.

Robot, that gold amount was calculated because of everyone also having mythic ranks, so it is lower.

Mark Kay, of course, feel free to submit a character!

Drak the Tiefling born of Magic
Cleric/Sorc (Serpentine)

Character Concept via the questions:

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE
1. The above character creation used in making the character.
Div Spawn Tiefling
Str 10
Dex 16
Con 10
Int 10
Wis 20 (3 from Level Adjustments)
Cha 20 (1 from Level Adjustments)

2. Details about your character's divine portfolio, domains, favored race of servitor Outsiders, ect.
True Neutral Magic, Knowledge, Plant, Animal, Luck. Favored race...probably be native outsiders (IE the bastard children of the planes)

3. Three deific titles. You will be playing deities, the least you can do is come up with some epic titles!
Magic's Bastard Son, Nature's Little Devil, Devil With No Home

4. Come up with ideas for a deific relic. For a real world mythical analogue, think Zeus' Aegis, the Mymir Stone, the Staff of Anubis, ect. Provide an idea on what sort of abilities you may want, but do not include rules! The rules are will be decided by me.
Personally, as a Sorc/Cleric...probably the most useful thing as a god I would bestow upon my servants....would probably be something to the effect of a Pearl of Unparalleled Power. Idea would be once a day, the pearl can be used to replace any one spell known with any other one spell of same rank or below. It would give the feeling of a god looking after one of it's own, by bestowing upon them the power that which they need the most at the worst possible time. (Some spell admissions would be wish and that sort of game breaker spells...but other then that badaboom)
5. What sort of divine realm would you have? Which plane would it be on (Be generic, like 'the plane of law', because we will be using the Dark Roads and Golden Hells cosmology by Kobold Press, along some worlds from Lords of Gossamer and Shadow by Rite Publishing!)?
I still see him as more of a wanderer but if he were to settle in a plane. The Plane of Radiance would be his most likely.
6. BACKGROUND! I would rather have a party of people with sucktastic crunch and awesome fluff, than a party with the inverse.
Background isn't 100% but I am feeling more the idea of, his parentage is unknown, whether he was abandoned in the woods as a child or perhaps simply he came to existence because of some demonic magic gone wrong. He came to be as but a babe alone in the world. His early years were surprisingly lucky in that nature itself seemed to provide for him, being taken in by bears, being cared for by wolves. He did not stay long with any one group, being shunned aside when the animals felt him old enough to care for himself only to find new parentage amongst another of nature's own. When he was old enough to fend for himself, he hunted only by necessity and foraged when he could. He began to show signs of magic in his youth and was eventually brought into civilization where he learned more of the ways of man.

7. Post which one of the 10 Sefira your character embodies: Malkuth (Rulership of One's self and surroundings, and respect for another's authority), Yesod (Physicality and the transcendence thereof), Hod (Glory and serenity), Netzach (Eternity, represented by an un changing will), Tiferet (Beauty and inner grace), Gevuruh (Discipline and intent of the law), Chesed (Kindness and compassion), Daat (Knowledge), Binah (Understanding and wisdom), Chokhmah (Epiphany), and Keter (Creation and light). These will be important storywise, give bonuses and penalties, and offer a selection of 'bonus divine powers' once characters achieve apotheosis.
Malkuth

8. Try to ask around other players and build the group's background.
Anyone who finds the concept interesting and would like to help me shore up a proper backstory and shape the character to being a better person would be most welcome.
9.A post about why you want to play this character, what you bring to the table, and whether or not you intend to facilitate group cohesion (Read: YOU MUST! Even though your character will be a god, this is still a group-based roleplaying game. There will be plenty of time for independent stuff during downtime!).
I enjoy playing healers, but generally don't enjoy having to save all my spells for just taking care of the party. The idea would be nice to be able to pull from both divine and arcane to better take care of a small group of friends for one who would feel that from birth there is nothing but loneliness. I would enjoy the roleplaying aspect of a shunned one being brought out of his shell and into the light...even if he may never become a good character at least he can be a little of both good and bad. If anyone is interested lemme know. I enjoy the idea of PCs being dependent in a way upon each other for survival. The idea of betraying each other is one I really don't enjoy myself honestly but I don't mind squabbles here and there.

Hey RVT,

Here's my finished character. I'm still using a variant of the 3.5 Paladin of Anarchy and the Pathfinder Paladin that's CN instead of LG.

Can you check out my character and let me know if the crunch/fluff is ok or if I need to add anything else.

I tried digging through the thread to make some connections to other gods, but I think I will be building my relationships with them after the final seven are chosen.

Charis has been updated further, though adding in more story is still a possibility.

Charis

I still can't access it, I'm going to go with an animal lord human I think. I'll try to have it up in time but I don't know how realistic that is at this point.

Gyrfalcon here, officially submitting Kezra Tern -- The Void Within, The Shooting Star, The Endless One, The Swallowing Darkness

Kezra Tern is an Advanced CR 5 large gravity elemental + Fighter (Free Hand) 10 | Rogue 17

backstory:
Kezra Tern was a scout of great renown, and a member of a merry band of adventurers who would delve into dungeons, raid trap-laden tombs, and -- as time went on and they grew in power -- began to venture out from his home on the Prime Material Plane to explore the vast uncharted planes of existence. He was swift of foot, quick to jest, and ever-accurate with his scimitar -- especially when he could throw a foe off guard with his approach.

One day seven years ago, they were exploring a tomb that had laid unopened for millennia on the all-but-dead plane of Avidarel. After battling past bitter, twisted shades and besting many cunning traps, Kezra led the way into a great hall. On a dias sat two bracers that seemed to be carved out of the night sky, with stars dancing within them. While the party’s mage XXX* (someone else in this party of almost-gods, perhaps?) set about identifying the source of their great dweomer, Kezra continued to explore. Seeing a false seam in the western wall, he found a loose brick and with a click! and a whoosh! he found himself in a hidden room.

Torch flickering in his left hand, scimitar in his right, he found his eyes drawn to a bizarre mirror. As he stared into it -- rather than see his own reflection he found himself spiraling, expanding, and dissolving into the very fabric of the cosmos.

His screams drew his companions. First among them was YYY* (someone else in the party; a martial hero who is quick to act, consequences be damned...or, say, a fire loving goblin). YYY saw Kezra enthralled, screaming, and starting to vibrate alarmingly. Wasting no time, YYY smashed the mirror and Kezra collapsed onto the floor, unconscious.

The party divine, ZZZ* (again, anyone seeing this being them, I’m happy to write ya in) tried without avail to treat him, growing increasingly concerned that Kezra might not survive, as whatever was going on made his unconscious form seem to flicker in and out of existence, and at the same time seem to be dissolving into an inky blackness.

Suddenly ZZZ had the insight to try putting the bracers they’d discovered onto him, noting that Kezra was starting to take on the bracers’ appearance of having been carved from the void of space. They took the gamble and attacked the bracers to Kezra’s inky arms. With the combined effort of XXX and ZZZ, together with the mystic power of the bracers, they managed to nurse Kezra back to consciousness several days later. When he awoke he was changed in more ways than one.

Kezra, just coming back to consciousness, was confused by his surroundings. As his companions crowded around to see how he was doing, he thought, Arrgh, I just need SPACE!

Kezra was confused and fascinated to see his friends and everything else in the room suddenly start to fall upward toward the ceiling. ”That's not right!” he cried, and suddenly gravity was righted and they fell back to the floor with a thud.

In the days and weeks that followed Kezra slowly came to terms with his new changed self. Physically, his body was a rippling, inky, star-filled void. He could control the pull of gravity around him. And he could fly effortlessly through the air.

Coming to terms with his new self mentally was at least as much a challenge. Kezra went from living in the moment and happy go lucky (with little thought to the future or the greater scheme of things) to simultaneously experiencing eons and the vastness of the Eternal Void. He is still in the long process of merging his old and new self.

Over the intervening years he has grown (literally, in size) and power, and found ways to leverage his new form in his adventures.

Description:

Ht: 12' 4"
Wt: zero
Age: 35
Hair: a weightless black cloud
Eyes: two bright stars
Skin: inky blackness, dotted with tiny stars and swirling nebulae

Image reference

Since his transformation, while he roughly retains his former human shape, Kezra appears less like a man and more like a window into another world: an inky blackness filled with tiny points of light and swirling nebulae. Light itself seems to shimmer and distort as it approaches him, and any object he holds for more than a few seconds takes on his aspect while it’s on his body.

Kezra has all-but-entirely ceased walking; instead he float just about the ground...or as often flies by in a blur.

His inky appearance and the surrounding distortion makes it difficult to make out his expression, and even those who know and trust him often find conversation with him unsettling.

Portfolio: the void of space, the stars, gravity, time, eternity

Domains: Void, Darkness, Travel, Knowledge, Time. (Note, I looked at the two 3PP Time domains listed on the pfsrd, and both let you roll back combat by 1 (or more) rounds, which seems like an incredible headache, especially in high level play.)
Favored race of servitors: Gravity elementals

Three deific titles: The Void Within, The Shooting Star, The Endless One, The Swallowing Darkness

Deific relic: Bracers of armor that also help him to control his form. At first he needed them to stabilize himself. Now they help to amplify his gravity elemental powers. Perhaps giving him the ability to grow into the form of a huge elder gravity elemental, with the associated bonuses to special abilities and attributes? Or some other means of strengthening his gravity aspect?

Divine realm: I see his (eventual) realm as hanging in the void of space, between the stars. Would that put him in the Far Beyond? A plane of elemental time and space? Not clear enough about the cosmology.

Sefira your character embodies: Netzach -- Eternity has soaked into Kezra’s very pores.

Try to ask around other players and build the group's background. Will do. His backstory includes several potential tie-ins for others in the party, depending on who gets selected.

Why you want to play this character, what you bring to the table, and whether or not you intend to facilitate group cohesion: Kezra Tern seems interesting thematically, and a God of the Cosmos seems like all kinds of fun. Personality is still developing, but I think he's retained some of his easy-going nature from before his cosmic awakening, leaving him with a knowing, warm, reflective air.

Mechanically he’ll be very interesting as well. As a rogue(scout) with 100’ (perfect) flight he’s highly maneuverable and a very able skirmisher. His gravity powers (e.g. being able to turn on a 20’ radius reverse gravity field) enable a variety of shenanigans. With combat patrol, 100’ flight, adding sneak attack to damage after moving 10’, and a very high dex+combat reflexes, he’ll be one of a few martials who can actually do a bit of battlefield control.

In terms of group cohesion, he’s definitely a team player. It’ll be fun to evolve some friendships and rivalries for him but he’s always been part of a team (used to working as a scout/skirmisher within a larger group) not as the star of his own show.

RVT: Let me know if anything's missing from your perspective, or if you have thoughts/questions/ideas.

OTHERS: Happy to weave together backstories. I left a few hooks in mine. I figure most of that work will be done once the final party is selected.

One bit I just realised escaped me up to now:

Do the characters start the campaign as a party, or are they all storied adventurers each on their own and they will meet as the campaign starts?

I kind of like the second one because it will mean the characters are coming from really different backgrounds.

Kezra Tern, kobold press has a prophecy domain that isn't too bad.

I'm going to do my last-minute revisions to backstory to adjust for Nemesis and stuff. While I'm there, does anyone else want to link backstories with Freddy? So far it's just Trazzle and Darien he might know.

I like the second option as well. Possibly some gathering force that draws us together.

I would also be interested in composing MOAR BACKSTORY. PM will be incoming!

Trazzle Glimmerfang

Updated with some more background including his encoutner with Charis.

Planning to add yet a bit more background before the end of recruitment.

Nidoran, any ideas as to how Trazzle and Freddy would meet?

Probably through the Fey? Freddy prefers the more artistically inclined lot, like Leanansidhe and such, but it's possible they mingled through some intersection of circles.

Hm... some kind of event involving the fey could have brought them both to the same place... Perhaps a battle breaking out in the fey realm between the Sidhe and the Unseelie, and a handful of heroes related to the fey, including Trazzle and Freddy, being called for help?

That sounds... fairly interesting. ^^ I'd hope Gestalt characters at 17th level would have had at least a few major impacts on the world by then.

That actually makes really good sense. I was considering the Nemesis feat involving the right hand of the Fey queen he put down looking for revenge, so that might be a decent way to work it in without a rewrite.

Does everyone concur on fulfilling story feat events as a prelude to the actual campaign?

I'm fine either way - honestly, I think it depends a lot on the story feat itself and how meaningful we want them to be to the overall campaign. ^^

Ok, I've got a basic character profile up for HwanYu. Let me know if I'm missing anything, (except for skills I need to add those, and the half of my wbl that I'm missing). Does anyone want to have back story adventures with a wandering swordsman putting his wuxia peanut butter in everyone fantasy chocolate?

EDIT: I could go either way on the matter, red velvet tiger, but it largely depends on the story feat. Champion, for example is fun to try and fulfill at any level. Thief of legend, not so much.

Ok an update for Arkus, Male CE Orc Half Dragon(Red) Demon Possessed(Balor) crossblooded sorcerer(Orc,Dragon)13//Fighter 13

Adding to his backstory that after his arcane awakening and during his travels he summoned and was possessed by a powerful Balor named Imoraatti. The demon cannot escape him nor does it want to for Arkus is a powerful host.

A second submission will be Lissandria a LG Empyreal Angel 15/oracle 2//Cleric 17

Glory and Good domains, It would be cool if she was an angel that had been summoned by others in the party for help and she became friends with them.

For a relic, Maybe an orb that grants very heavy healing benefits and SR? I don't know, just throwing concepts out there. Ohh myabe it could have some awesome divination stuff on it to. hhmmm.

The story feats could be a gateway to being indebted to a certain figure, so it doesn't have to start in media reis as far as I thought...

Would everyone be fine taking a story feat, of that's what we go with?

I'm totally fine with it.

Bane88, was Arkus' father Ashardalon, by chance? :P

Do we need to specifically pick a story feat together? I still like my Champion idea...

I'm ok taking a story feat even if it's not completed at gamestart.

I actually don't get that reference QQ

Pathfinder Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe, As for story feat mine was Deny the Reaper for the healer.

I'm fine with story feats being completed before the story or not, but I'd like to know which one it is soon, because it has a big impact on my background.

Nidoran, since it hinges more around your character, mind writing his perception on it in your background, and I'll write Trazzle's point of view of it based on it in mine?

And still you won't tell me...>_<

Ashardalon is a red dragon that ripped out his own heart and replaced it with a balor.

Vritra, not a communal one! Basically, you pick one, I run a short 'pre-campaign mini-adventure', wherein you complete your story quest and now owe a very powerful man a favor. You would have to send me a message me about specifics regarding your ultimate goal for it, but it would be custom-tailored to you.

I'm also fine with taking a story feat - I just have to decide which one would really fit Camiel. XD

That sounds interesting, RVT, but wouldn't that risk delaying the start of the adventure a lot?

Whats the verdict on the WBL we are using and bonuses due to craft feats? Just wondering, as I read what was posted and couldn't figure out the answer

Cydrius, it could, that's why I asked for opinions. :P

Tenro, WBL? What is that? O_O

Wealth By Level.

Ah. It's the value as listed: 600K GP.

I'm fine with the story feats either way. I was planning on taking Nemesis for Yukio. It seems to be a really popular one, but that might be because many of them are more mundane.

My suggestion: Rather than doing a mini campaign, tell us some about this very powerful man we will owe a debt to, and let us write him into our backgrounds. This should give a similar story effect while sparing the time and jumping right into the goodness.

Cydrius, yeah, that's fair, and pretty much how I expected it to just. Just agreeing with the idea on the grounds of "it fits into stuff I was trying to work out anyway".

+1 to Cydrius' suggestion.

I'm fine with having then already complete in our backstory or incomplete, but lots of side quests before the start of the campaign makes me nervous.

I like Cydrius' suggestion too. Since we already have to write our companions into our backstories, I feel like this is a good addition.
