Way I see it agents bearing letters of Authorization actully makes sense for the Dragonmarked Houses... Especially for the more "elderly" members of the Houses, when your this old, hobbling Denieth Baron do you really run aroud on House business all day when you have good young-ins available?

By the way, which magic items has Danir finished crafting?
Headband of alluring charisma +4.
...by the way I'm putting together a Sarlona campaign that I'll probably run on these forums.

No- I had been expecting things to run faster through this part, he was going to start work on other items after the gala once we moved on to the next phase of our journey.

posting this in all 28 of my games (although some of them are dead, i am pretty sure... and others are quite slow so my absence will not be missed overmuch):
There are two hurricanes heading for Hawaii, where I live. One is supposed to land on Friday after being downgraded to a tropical depression, the other is supposed to land Sunday with experts unsure as to how much it'll be downgraded after colliding with the mountains.
I'm sure everything will be fine, so no need to worry. People are freaking out for some reason, but I remain in a state of relative readiness.
I anticipate a loss of internet, at a minimum (they can barely keep it together under optimal conditions). Likely loss of power as well. A time without electricity could last anywhere from four days to four months (with some time around one to two weeks being more realistic).
I'll be on between now and then, but if i just disappear, check the news, hahaha.

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Feat Psicrystal affinity (liar), new power Everyman.
Now might be the time for some comedy GM, would you rule that the Psicrystal accompanied "Thrask" but in a dormant form? As I can see some very humorous applications for this Psicrystal...
Ebran Asur |
i think ill up my dragonmark to a Lesser mark this time (requirement for Windwright Captain and also fitting since i just upped my place in the house)
and get Returning Throw as a bonus feat.
now just gotta get some money to change my chakram into a returning chakram.

Well . . . First of all, good luck Ebran.
Second of all, Healing factor is a good idea.
Xov, it looks like you are going to be coming into your own.
Thirdly, Thrask is the personality inside your psicrystal, Absylon. I think it may be better that way.
Now, Danir won't get back to us until Saturday, so . . .

I entered the details of this campaign into the Eberron Wiki. You can add your characters' pages yourselves. :)

Falko would be hanging around the dock, probably thinking of boarding a ship and be far away from Sharn.
A supersticious devotee, he might see an omen that would bring him arou d to work with the others? Perhaps he knows one of them from before? From the War? From Thronehold?
Perhaps Othan's mercenaries fought with his unit for a time?

What Xov thinks of the other PCs part V: Danir's Departure
Thrask is just as enigmatic as his alleged employee. He is obviously a skilled disguise artist, given that he falsified a convincing dragonmark and identity. Yet he is careless and created a story with obvious holes. His relationship with Absylom is likely not what he says it is. Maybe they are the same person, maybe not.
Next time Falko and Kirin will be included (and Danir won't be).
Ebran Asur |
1. Ebran doesnt know that Kirin is his cousin
2. i havent added it to my sheet yet but i will be increasing my dragonmark to lesser (from least) so that will affect my steering
3. do i still have the astrolabe? never said i gave it back, but i imagine they want it, but they might have left it to my safekeeping.
EltonJ |
1. No. He doesn't.
2. That's good enough for me.
3. No, you don't. I should have said, 3 days later. Eldritch Machines are plot devices, despite Tizimine getting rid of them in his conversion, I kept them because all they are is an abstract concept for the GM to do Deus ex-Machina with the game world. The Astrolabe's duty in the story is finished, its not an artifact. The Lyrandar Khoravar have it in safe keeping.

also, @ kirin:
Ebran's family line has elven blood, but it is distant. think of half elves whose appearance is more human than elf, then two pairs of those make children who look even more human, then those children make an even more human-looking child. so on and so forth until you get something looking much more human than even half-elf.
it is auspicious that he has the mark, but he is derided quite a bit for his thin elven blood, but he gets results and is still loyal to the house
