Throg leans down to Ausk"Is this that flirting thing you humans do to get a mate?" he asks a little perplexed at the mans intense passion onto the four armed Dharkantia

Ausk cheered wildly for both Julio's heart and Suileman's spirit, Ausk whispers back to Throg

Not so much flirting as teasing, though they ARE sort of the same thing- she seems so strict and flushed, it reminds me of some of my clients at the family shop. They were fun to mess with, you know, show them a scrap sword and pretend it was the one they commissioned from me, that sort of thing. Don't worry, Throg-

Ausk now slapped Throg playfully on the back

She isn't the only multi-armed being in my life! Haha!

Ausk loved this feeling, whatever it was. Two weeks of being impoverished and
And these people have all provided me with the chance to be myself, to be free and wild as the Orcs are. And what a PERFECT game for me to play.

He missed his family slightly, mostly his Mother's talk about Cayden Cailean, the "Drunken Hero" she always called him. His father and their Warcat, Fang, always going out for a ride on the outskirts of Cheliax and coming back with their most recent hunt.

Oh well I'll have a family of my own soon enough I think. And I'll have TWO Warcats, not just one.

Ausk laughed to himself as he imagined his teammates faces were he to ride in on a Warcat unexpectedly. Tolus, he felt, would have the funniest of reactions.

Kasatha Brawler

"Very nice Suileman. Strong solid tackles." She nodded towards him.

"There isn't any talk of tactics going on. Just the coach doing his job and telling me what I need to do." She told Ausk as she moves to the dummies and tries the first one.

Tackle DC 10: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Tackle DC 11: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Tackle DC 12: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Tackle DC 13: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Tackle DC 14: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Though that tackle didn't go well she looked at it and nodded to her self and shifted her stance. Using her legs more she powered into the next dummy in an almost horizontal jump. It was clear she had power there as she repeated this twice more. The last one though she didn't have the right footing and only hit it on one side and not with enough force to topple it.

Straightening she nodded to herself and moved back to the side.

Alright everyone bring it in, bring it in, we sent out some runners for lunch, lets head to the tent and start game planning

The coach called to everyone leading the way torwards the bright blue tent. You came into it from the back end, out the front eaves you could see the pristine green field white chalk lines crossed it every so often marking of yardage. The hastily erected stands were there, it wasnt hard to imagine them filled with people screaming and yelling. The two goal posts were there as well in the middle of the 'endzones' A strange amalgation of netting and a hoop, It stood about 10 feet off the ground attached to a pole.

See that pole there Dharkantia? that will be your job. As the goal keeper you keep those Drakes from throwing the ball into the hoop. Its a bit harder to stop the kicks, but not all kicks that hit net actually fall into the hoop so, its a bit randomized. If you can intercept them and tackle them down before the cross the backline that'll keep from scoring one point, throwing it through the hoops is worth three, kicking it through seven. We have made it this far through the tourney just worrying about scoring a point at a time. Its not as flashy but it gets the job done.

There were a series of benches in the room overlooking a wooden frame that held a peice of slate. The coach motioned for you all to sit down on the benches as he grabbed some chalk.

I expected the owner to be here already, same as the those blasted drunken cheerleaders. Any questions before I get to drawing up some simple plays?

He asked the newcomers...

Also, the Master was coming. He unconsciously straightens his clothes and makes sure his equipment was properly secured.

"How should we act around the owner?"

Male Half-Orc Warrior/ 0

Tell me exactly how to stop the kicker, or the runner, and I'll do it just fine. Especially if a weapon is put in my hands from the crowd. No offense, but you say "we have made it this far"- but the man who hired all of us- Ausk wove a hand to all of his new team members hired by the fat man

He was of the opinion that we'd be lucky to make it through the first half.

Ausk grumbled and chortled as he spoke- it was difficult to be so serious in a professional manner when he was so ready for violence- he was glad he found this game before his inheritance had surged as it was now. Every muscle in his body flexed and relaxed, his hands shook with excitement, and his teeth were clenched hard as if he had a rough steak in his mouth.

I'm guessing that means we need to play a different way- especially with new players. Especially with how everyone talks about these "Drakes".

Human Male Unchained Rouge [HP 4/14] [AC:15 T:12 FF:13 CMD:13] [Init +2] [Fort +0 Ref +5 Will +1] [Perception +6]

Julio continues pick grass off his kit and brushing off the dirt.

"What roles do you have for the rest of us?"

Kasatha Brawler

Looks like a butterfly net, basketball net or something? Confused what the goal looks like

Dharkantia would study the net and the field her eyes dissecting it before moving back in to look at the others and then the board.

"Calm yourself Ausk, fight as we score. The goal is to win not kill everyone. Its more humiliating to them if they lose and get beat up."

Male Half-Orc Warrior/ 0

Ausk chuckled True, but if they're all unconscious, they can't play. Ask gave a grin he'd only given once before- with all his teeth revealed.

Male Trox Expert

"That should not be too hard i mean its just a few feet higher than me." he gets a hand through the hoop and smiles.

"This should be fun"

It does look like a basketball net, only instead of a back board there is oh a net about twice as tall and wide as the backboard. Its not attached so often kicks fall just behind the goal, though a lucky few fall down through it.

Thats what we are sort of counting on Throg, between your size and height we should make a few easy buckets, With Dharkantia guarding our goal we hope to shock them clean off the field.

The coach said drawing up a bunch of x's and o's on the board. He proceeded to spend the next half hour going over a variety of plays, the most of which were a little beyond you.

I'll have your positions set down after lunch, little annoyed the owner aint about would be the first time he's missed a game. Anywho eat hearty in about 2 hours the game begins.

Lunch was actually really good, fresh hot mutton, hot loaves of bread, Watered down ale that was cold washed it all away. The 'veteren' players on your team were relatively quiet, their minds already focusing on the upcoming game... outside of the tent however you heard a high pitched cry of pain then a bunch of rough laughter coming from the black tent just opposite the field from yours.

Male Half-Orc Warrior/ 0

Ausk threw down his mutton, drawing out his great ax. With a snarl he rushed outside of the tent, his blood surging.
What the HELL is going on?

He yelled as he stormed outside, and into the tent across the field. His heart flooded blood into his veins so hard he could feel the waves rush through his body.

Please let this be the violence I have sought.

His hands tensed around the ax

I've wanted blood for so many weeks now, violence for so many weeks, even if I lose, let it happen. Let my ax fall on some poor sack's HEAD

If anything the laughter grew louder and their was another squeel of terror as you saw a halfling lass, mid 20's probably cute as a button, with an expensive looking ankle bracelet (for attaching to a chain) on hef left ankle go flying through the air only to be barely caught by one of largest humans you had ever seen... Upon futher reflection it was certainly not just a human. You were guessing it was probably at least 1/4 ogre, if not 1/2.

The almost identicle muscle bound oaf who threw the halfling said cracking heavy swollen knuckles.

So just a friendly reminder, you are in Cheliax, halflings are well known slaves, and assualt with a deadly weapon is well... just that. other than that balls in your court. Sorry about the delay, i swore i posted this last night, didnt check to see if it held.

Tolus takes little notice of the halfling. His attention is fully drawn to the brutes. He has seen ogre hybrid before, and even an actual ogre, on the Exotics Exchange, but only rarely and never two at once. His breath catches at the sight of them and he instinctively looks for a place to hide.

Ausk's eyes flickered excitedly between the two large stature beings
Ooooh, this game is going to be fun

Looking at the ogrish men, Ausk grinned

"Crush em now ya"? For something as fearsome as these so called "Drakes"- Ausks voice chortled and rumbled low as he grinned baring all his teeth

I never thought I'd hear any of you ask permission for anything.

Ausk turned his attention to the annoying squealing halfling the men had been throwing and his face contorted into immense anger as he yelled at in in Orc, patting his ax and chest as he did so

A glint and glare went over his eye as he stared just a little too long to be normal at the one who asked if they could crush them

But that HALFLING'S squeals are annoying- what do I have to do or pay to get them to shut their mouths until after the game? I'm happy to buy them from you... Depending on the price... Another dirty look was shot at the halfling woman as Ausk said so.

Dharkantia watched and listened carefully studying the halfling woman before her eyes scanned over the brutes and then anyone else who might be in there.

She was looking to assess the situation and judge if she was really owned by these, large ogre humans. From the expensive bangle she wasn't sure. Dharkantia also, was looking on how to use the items and terrain in here to her advantage since they looked ready to fight.

Knocking them out of the competition early was something she was more than willing to do. But it had to be done right. Any damage they took would probably carry over to the fight and if the brutes had healing it could spell disaster.

Dharkantia's lower arms were crossed, across her stomach out of obvious view but not really hiding them.

It smelt as if something had died and was perhaps still rotting in its maw, the men inside all began to call for the ogre to stand down, while others pulled the stabbed man out torwards the back. It was clear no one at the momentwould be pursuing your team out of the tent.

The sound of chaos breaking out within the tent was clearly obvious, A roar and an angry ogre bellowing was just as quickly peirced by a man screaming, the dull thud of ogre fist meeting something squishy whumffed through the air.

What in the nine hells are you fools doing get in here!"

The coach was yelling from your tent his face contorted in consternation.

Move move move! He added placing his fingers to his lips and letting forth a shrill whistle.
