Julio |

Julio looks around trying to find a blanket or tablecloth to cover the crate with.
"Inside little one and keep quiet if you value your life."
After the hafling is inside he covers it up and he starts stacking things on top of it.

DM The nines |

The guards arrived and the Marchog was promptly arrested for assualt. Not the most heinous of crimes but enough to have him cursing and swearing out the weasely little fellow from the other team. During all that ruckus it became apparent that a noise was well slowly building.... cheering and a thundering series of stomps began to come from the rickety built stands surrounding either side of the pitch.
It was quite possibly the most noise any of you had ever heard before in your life. Someone was speaking to the crowd riling them up even more, the words though they were drowned out by the cheering crowds... Finally another weasely looking fellow, this one a halfling in a black and white striped shirt poked his head into the tent...
Kick off in 3 minutes coach.
He said to which your coach nodded...
Here we are boys and girls, hope your ready for this." He said solemnly the other full time players began to put their helmets on and adjust their armor...
Any last moment things you folk want to do?

Ausk-Davor |

Ausk bared his teeth, both his hands like fists as he pounded his chest
Screw the rules- I'm snatching the first weapon on the ground and pounding somebody to pieces. I'll tell you all right now- If I'm not knocked out during or after this game, I wasn't pushing hard enough! I want to be soaked in blood, know what I mean, Dharkantia?
Unusual... This is the first time my rage made me actually feel... Good... Not uncomfortable... No need to control it. Good.

Dharkantia |

Dharkantia would look at the weasely man and remarks to the guards. "You will have to take him with. In this game he could be killed by his teammates or out on the field. He did tell you about the ogre-kin that killed one of his teammates also. For his own safety you should take him so you have a live witness."
She would start getting ready for the game herself and nodded towards the halfling her eyes studying him carefully before moving to the coach.
"You still have to explain some of the specific things you want." She said after the guards and the ref left.

DM The nines |

For a moment it almost looked like the guards were going to agree with Dharkantia's logic, but then some choice words about their heritage's from their former team mate changed that. The weasely fellow gave on longing glare at the Kasatha warrior and growled out.
I'll see you on the pitch.
Before he stormed out of the tent and across the way.

Ausk-Davor |

Stepping onto the field was the first breath of fresh air Ausk had had in years. His blood raged through his veins like rapids of his old, ancient Orc ancestors while he beat on his chest and ran to pick up the first sword he saw.
Don't kill them. Don't kill them. DON'T kill them.
It was becoming difficult for Ausk to control his urges, but he shook his horrible, tooth filled jaws and face to bring himself back to his sense a tad.

DM The nines |

The Thrower on the team, the older Gentleman named Marren Woon, glanced back at Dharkantia... In theory if they can kick the ball through its worth points too, but its a bit difficult, so most just try to run past the line and score that way or get close enough to toss or slam the ball through the hoop. Its less complicated than it sounds i promise.
He started to head torwards the middle of the field for the coin toss...
Anyone even(heads) or odd (tails)

DM The nines |

coinflip: 1d100 ⇒ 23
With the old man meeting the ref in the middle he called tails... the crowd grew extremely quiet as the coin was tossed into the air, the breeze gusted over them as the coin went end of end.. It hit the ground and the ref bent over it....
Its tails!
He called and Woon gave a small little fist pump.
We want the ball.
He said moving into position. The large half ogre twins were at the line while the weasaly fellow, with a great show of bandages was in the far back. He caught the ball the ref threw to him and after a moment he reared back and kicked it high into the sky...
For non game related battles, we will roll initiatives, for the purposes of the game however, we will do initiative by side. So you guys are up, I will npc roll your team in a few hours. The skull is the ball. :)And yes Dharkantia it is your job to defend the goal, doesnt mean you can move away from it a bit, I would just suggest staying with oh, 30 feet of it or so.

Ausk-Davor |

Stats on the weapon Ausk picked up?
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Looking for other weapons in the crowd
Intimidate: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Directed at chap almost right in front of me
Ausk swung the sword over his head as he roared at the man in front of him, beating his chest with the other free hand
We have the ball. WE have the ball. We have the ball.
Ausk gave a cold-blooded stare at the man in front of him And he's never going to touch it.
Unsure of what you will allow in regards to movement, but if I can, I attack the man head on if my intimidate check for him to run away fails.

DM The nines |

So the red dots denote the opposing team, you trying to scare poor ol Nordy Jelson huh? :P
stand combat rules apply, 1 move, 1 standard, an intimidate check within combat counts as a standard action, so no worries good start though ausk you definitely caught the other teams attention,
treat the 2x4 as a club (so 1d6 damage and add a +2 to your attack rolls.
Convienantly almost the moment the kick happened some skilled or lucky fan tossed a wooden beam (think 2x4) onto the pitch near enough that Ausk happily ran over and picked it up whirling it over his head. At the sight of the obviously bloodthirsty half orc, the slim man who had been helping them called out.
Same team same team!
He called out running directly away from the boisterous half orc.
The older man, Woon moved directly to the ball picking it up...
Go go go!
He called to everyone.
The two nondescript men in your teams uniform on the front line both charged at the half ogre on the left attempting to pummel him with their fists.

They struck solid blows but the large brute roared in frustration

Ausk-Davor |

Ausk grins at himself THEN ACT LIKE IT! he bellowed as he continued to charge down the field, the 2x4 swinging in his head as he shrugged to himself might as well be a sword.
Seeing Julio behind him Ausk yelled again Julio! Come back me up!
They already probably know I'm flanking their team.... But that won't stop my 2x4 from smashing into them until they have no more players

Tolus the Serpent Servant |

Tolus is struck by something as soon as the ball leaves the foot of the other team. Patterns. Patterns everywhere! He could see the flipping ball and know about where it would land. He could see a pattern in the distribution of the other team and the teamwork of his own team. There was even a pattern to how the crowd was cheering!
But he is jarred out of his revelation by screams of GO!
So he goes. He jogs down the field and tries to block the path of anyone trying to get at his ball carrier.
Move up, readied attack vs the first person to come within range
attack: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10

Dharkantia |

Dharkantania searches for something to throw and would grab it and pick it up hurling it towards the ogre with precision. Her other hands slide into her bandages sliding on her brass knuckles if able.
Atk: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4, 2) + 3 = 12
Don't know dmg if she was able to find anything. But if she had to move far enough to pick something up that put her within 30 ft +1 to attack and Dmg

Dharkantia scrambled forward searching the ground for any sort of debris, or rocks or anything. While she found something its heft and weight lead her to believe it wouldnt do much damage if at all, but the throw was pretty good regardless, It stuck part of the half - ogre's kit and deflected high in the air....it didnt look like the half ogre noticed however.
Go! Smash their lines crush Woon! The weaslely fellow called from well behind the lines, and the drakes scrambeled forwards.
One of the drakes rushed torwards Tolus with a feral smile, and Tolus readied swing flies wide. The drakes counterpunch flew wide as well however, it was clear he hadnt expected the strange looking man in fron t of him to be so... ready.
Your other teammates and some drakes formed a scrum line near the middle of the field, though at the moment it seemed a lot of movement and posturing but no real advatages being traded what so ever.
two of the drakes rushed torwards Your catcher Nordy and he yelled out A little help! as he deftly dunked under one swing and then jumped over one of their kicks.
Ausk one of the ogres and drakes took a look at your show of bravado and moved to smash you into the ground...perhaps it was your fearful presence your peice of lumber, or just bad luck, but the ogre's heavy blow missed you wide and his friend had to duck to avoid being pummeled.

Ausk-Davor |

Ausk roared at the Ogre Damn right! You'll have to kill me if you want me to stop! NORDY! Damn it! Get from out of there you'll get swarmed!
Legitimately, because his half-orc racial feat is AWESOME
Attack Roll: 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2, 3) + 1 = 10

GM, I'm assuming there are no AoO's? If not, excellent. If so, I'm missing one on the a*@+**$s who stepped to me and Julio xD

Julio |

Julio moves up to support and Ausk-Davor and attempt to punch the Drake player.

AC 14 at this time

DM The nines |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

On the field in the course of the game, no there are no AoO's outside the confines of the pitch, standard Pathfinder rules pretty much apply, though I do apply the rule of cool. i.e. Sometimes crazy errol flynn type attacks or actions might get bonuses. >^.^<
The game is a fickle beast at best, its all about teaming up obviously. No worries though Ausk, Im sure the dice will turn your way soon enough, I mean I rolled for what 7 guys on the opposite team and the highest total i think i got was a 10 >.>

DM The nines |

@ Tolus - heading deeper down the field after your dodging?
Throgs solid blow staggers the man in front of him and he yelps for help!
Woon Follows behind Dharkantia's lead whooping at the cry for help coming from ahead. Keep pressing boys! uh... and girl! He added as an afterthought, the helpful catcher Jelson aimed a rough kick at one of the goons accosting him. It was easily cuffed to the side and he continued to back up.
attack: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4) = 10
The two fellows doing their best to overpower the half-ogres
attack 1: 3d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5) + (4) = 16
attack 2: 3d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1) + (5) = 14
The first one strikes true while the ogre seemed to ignore the others blow. The half ogre snorts and shakes its head clearly a little dazed by the sudden assault it was under.
damage: 1d2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Julio was evidently no stranger to a bar brawl or two, His fist caught his opponent on the chin.
@ Julio - give me a sleight of hand check dc 14 your pretty sure with a quick slip of the hand the mans helmet could easily be removed... and held into a hand... almost like an improvised club.
still waiting on Dharkhantia but Willpost the bad guys this evening!

Dharkantia |

WHOOPS, I missed this >.< I thought I posted!
4d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 4) + 3 + 1 = 17
Darkantia slid one pair of her hands into her bandages sliding the brass knuckles on while the other grabbed another object and threw it at the ogre as he is dazed, continuing to move with Woon.
"I can't escort you much farther."

Julio |

"I like that helmet. Give it to me."
Julio tries to unbuckle the mans helmet but he pulls his head back avoiding the attempt. He then steps back behind Ausk-Davor hoping to split up the players on the other team.
Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Throg Freeman |

Throg looks down at the man and reaches out with the little hands in his abdomen his alien form towering over as he lets both hands clasp together.
