Well since the cat is out of the bag I'll reveal Ausk's plan.
It was to go into the tent to let Dharkantia (tactician) see the enemies while Ausk sized up who he would need to take head-on in game.
Since this is now... er... well scrapped, Ausk will be helping those who need to leave, leave, and supporting "artillery fire" to Linli.
You crazy, crazy bastard Linli.
Also, Ausk slightly enjoys the sound of eating a halfling. Only slightly.
Dharkantia is/was going to try to get the ogre brothers to fight each other and cause a bigger ruckus so everyone can flee safely.

I totally agree, Linli. But, to Tolus, his chances of having to face off against ogres in the games after lunch just went up. He's pretty sure "Just about anything goes" does not include pre-emptive strikes. Thus the response.
O yes I agree, your should all play your PCs as you think they would act, always. Its what rolling is all about, I would never think to tell another player how to play their PC.
