It's up to you what sort of objects the influence of Einora would shrink from. As an example, the influence of poison and decay might fail in the face of antiseptic or pure water. Creeping vines might be anathema to Hebron by representing life and chaos.

Pelnore's anathema is fire or saws

If we're nailing it down: Iisac's would be bodily wastes and rotten flesh (urine, spoiled food, or blood would be popular), Zimran's would be friendly greetings and signs of affection (even forced ones like a grocery store cashier), and Hebron would probably be an antithetical god's dominion - vines is a very good one or possibly rainwater (particularly acidic rain) to represent nature's fury maybe even both as his position against older gods that don't represent humanity's increasing dominion. Now that he's dead I'm not even sure how that impacts his continued worship.
Einora would be trickier. It seems her demons really like fire and consumption, so maybe some form of abstention put into a symbolic form. Her opposition may fast or refrain from sex (sort of like my quest restrictions), so something that is a physical representation of that. Possibly homeopathy - a small amount of a toxin diluted in pure water with salts.

Roshan - that was my first thought too, but it seems like undoing those bonds is kind of her thing; plus, they're fairly ubiquitous.
I'd actually suggest spheres - a sphere made of a single piece of a suitable material doesn't offer any seams, edges, or cracks for her treachery to enter or hide in.

Maybe something related to sacrificing selflessly for others. It is the ultimate showing of loyalty.

Iron Tom Bonney |

Oh man, in a ritual can Ron give me the same wound he gave Roshan and let use trace a circle in the blood from the wound to chase out the creature?
That sounds pretty cool actually.

Ron Bucanero |

shoot, I thought you had stabbed the one in Roshan's arm... well, this scene should be a tad different... shall we retcon that?
No retcon necessary. I always thought I was stabbing the one that bit Roshan. My understanding was that it had bit her and fallen off (this explains why I was so confused that the blood splattered on her arm). So it bit her, made a clone, and then I killed the original? Is the clone visible? Theoretically, could I visually locate the clone to stab it? The reason I force fed Roshan a healing potion was so she would survive some battlefield medicine.

okay. you stabbed the one that is under Roshan's skin, and it then exploded into a spreading inky blackness. then Tom tourniqueted the arm. now we're all praying!

I was thinking, what about Hebron only have sons that are Gods and "daughters" as mortal followers? It would mean Tom would have to pursue a different diety even if his faith is with the family, and makes the distinction with Roshan being a follower of Hebron.

Iron Tom Bonney |

All the followers of Hebron are female and are referred to as his daughters. The only men he aknowledges/grants his blessing to are his sons that are Gods.

Roshan Kaur |

According to tradition, Hebron's wife was a mortal woman (is Persephone too on-the-nose?) with whom he was entirely faithful. Theirs was the first wedding, and the first exchange of rings. Their union naturally produced immortal male offspring and mortal females. Hebron had a special fondness for his daughters, which grew into a fondness for mortal civilization as they inevitably grew old, bore children, and died. These women only bore female children.

Iron Tom Bonney |

Boom. Nailed it. I like that.
Originally Hebron was based on something between Kingmaker Erastil and Aroden, with Zimran being like Zon-Kuthon but more pitchfork wielding Lucifer-like. The idea then because the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost where the son in this case fell and became the devil and the Holy Ghost is what turned into Iisac guiding people on the right path. It's also where the names come from - plays on the traditional sons of Ambraham, Hebron being an old spelling of Abraham.
I've been trying to spin it into a more unique thing and had this idea where Hebron was matriarchal on the mortal realm.

Roshan Kaur |

In that case, something like Sharazi might be more fitting for the mother. It's between Sarah, Abraham's first wife, and Melisande Shahrizai, a sadist queen from Kushiel's Legacy, by Jacqueline Carey.

Okay, let me have a little while to figure out haw being a toad works mechanically. I am open to suggestions
Dibs on Catastrophe!

Well, the viscoelasticity of the arterial tree is a major haemodynamic determinant that influences the pulse-wave velocity, the hydraulic input impedance and the shape of blood pressure and flow waveforms. Wave propagation effects, such as pulse amplification, distortion and reflections evident as secondary peaks are seen in mammalian circulatory systems, partly because of the 'elastic taper' of the aorta, but primarily as a result of the relatively high heart rates...

HP: Constitution + 4
1d4 damage
Load: STR + 2
STR -1, DEX +1, CON -1, INT -1, WIS +2, CHA -1
When you wish to call your knot to aid in an action, answer the following questions and roll +1 for each affirmative answer:
• Are you in or near a lake or swamp?
• Is it mating season?
• Do you have food or shelter to offer?
On a Hit, the knot arrives in full force, and you count as a swarm of medium size. On a 10+, choose 1:
• The knot is full of burly individuals, act with a +1 STR modifier.
• The knot is full of talented individuals, act with a +1 CHA modifier.
• The knot is camouflaged and moves quietly.
Also, I was just telling a group of twenty-somethings how much they were missing out because they've never played Chrono Trigger and therefore don't know what a real RPG is.

okay, three ways we can handle this
1. Conwall keeps playing toad!Conwall, and we all get good at toad-charades
This one os fun from a roleplaying perspective, but I recognize it could limit your utility to the party
2. we come up with some way to fix this quickly
Admittedly, my least favorite, but if we feel this will be unfun, maybe another use of astral gem, or making a really bad deal with a really bad dude(et) could fix it
3. Conwall puts aside Toad!Conwall for a little while, (We stuff him in a nice sack, and feed him occasionally) and Meech designs a temporary character (same rules as character death, keep levels and xp, and when you go back, those transfer to Conwall as well)
I recognize you really like this character, and might be hesitant of this option, but it may be fun for everyone to have a temp in the party.
Ball is in your court, players

Belym |

The demon forged into Catastrophe can undo it! In exchange for being let out...or....
Temp character: Conwall's body was actually used to form a new body for his sister (temp character), who is now (about to emerge from the swamp/held just inside the hellmouth/in Einora's camp)?

No joke, the best idea I came up with was to kill the toad and resurrect Conwall. I have no idea how to bring someone back from toad without consulting a stereotypical witch or something.
Maybe we can seek out someone knowledgeable about the demon type that astral ruby was associated with - the eyestalk demon might have followers or an associaed cult that knows about polymorphing.

Conwall |

Yikes...those are three bad ideas.
What about a fourth option? I'm not a FROG FROG, but I'm a frog-elf hybrid like Frog from Chrono Trigger. I've got a big quest to try to turn myself human, lots of fictional drawbacks from being a temporary frog monster and maybe a dex debility for my first few actions while I get used to my still nimble but really differently constructed body.

Ron Bucanero |

This might be an option. Next level I could take polymorph and we could let the effect be permanent in returning him to elf form.

hmm... if that's the option you prefer :) ... I'll work out how this works this afternoon after class.
mwaahahaha
