Julian Gras was the fake French name my French teacher gave to me for class. My friend thought it was hilarious. It didn't help that I was 75 lbs overweight either.
Dervak |
We rested before heading here, as Erich Zann suggested, right?
So Dervak's Shield and Long Arm are his first spells cast today.

Mara has some open spell slots. If we have a chance, the ideal would be to meditate to fill them before we confront Armel.

Finally! Now you get him....lol.
EDIT I just read Game Play. Not certain how I feel about Theo finally getting his hands dirty for the first time...lol.
How many PbPers can truly say first kill at 16th level? It's an art!
Theo would like to thank Dervak for being the dirty hands (arms, legs, feet, ankles(hehe), shoulders, pinky finger) kinda fella!
Theo would like to thank Mara for constantly (literally) pulling him out of the fire (especially since he seems to be a magnet for it)!
Theo would like to thank CiCi for always cleaning up the mess he (probably) started!
Theo would like to thank Delmoth for allowing him to be himself!
And finally, Theo would like to thank the White Rabbit for well being a sane thought buzzing about an insanity that rivals a great old one!
Too be honest not certain if it was his first kill (Dervak would know!) but definitely should be...haha!
My characters usually are not the damage dealers. Thefe have been exceptions of course but I do find great enjoyment making others better at their jobs than doing the primary damage myself.
I do hope Theo has been useful.

"First time you ever plugged somebody?"
"... course not."
It has been great having Theo in the game!
He has cast Lightning Bolt a few times, and that Semore is a rather murderous fellow, so I am not certain this is the first time Theo has killed anyone in battle, but maybe it is. In any event, Dervak will buy Theo a drink and sing his praises to Gorum!
(But if Theo wants to put the blame on the shadow demons since he wasn't controlling them, that is totally fine too.)
Theo has quite a range of tricks and it is a lot of fun to see the witch class utilized in that way. Dervak is most definitely reliant on the support from others to be as effective as he is.
I play a pretty broad range of character types; I do like fighters, in part to disprove the conventional wisdom that the class is weak, boring, or limited. As I may have mentioned, Dervak is my first barbarian-type in all of 3.X/PF, which I have been playing since 2000. I went with Destined Urban Bloodrager for good AC and saves so that he wouldn't constantly be a burden on the party, and could tank for a few rounds if needed. But he doesn't have to do all the damage, and I liked that in Avaric's Manor Mara and CiCi each one-shot some pretty tough foes.

Yeah he might have got those swarms Neruzavin.
Which is a lot better than his sister can say, who immediately is a murder hobo.
Theo has been a nearly constant headache for the monsters. So no worries about being uselful. The party is well tuned to work together.

Sorry to do this right now but probably light posts from me for the next week. My father in law is visiting from AR come Thursday AND we have a construction company coming to fix a major problem with the back of my house Wednesday.

Truly. And here I again thought I was being too mean and y'all get out of it with grace.

Depending on possible changes in the current timeline, Mara would want to use the Ritual in The Chain of Nights to bring Sara out of Loic's dreams, and into the waking world. I think Winter Klaczka may have taken him to a sanitarium in Ustalav.
