Who wants the silver dagger? We might run into DR/silver. Mara would like to pick up a dagger at some point, but she's not going to do very much damage with it.
Dervak and N'Dateh should probably take the amulets, if they're what I think they are. If Oscar has Object Reading, he should be able to determine their properties by examining them for one minute.
I would suggest that Dervak drink one of the healing potions now, and carry one for later.

Do we want to try Treat Deadly Wounds? Unless the sanctuary has the equivalent of a Healer's Kit, the chances of success aren't high, but it doesn't cost us anything (except 2 hours).
GM: Did Mara notice anything else of note regarding the bat-like creature? If it's what I think it is, there's something particularly unsettling about it's appearance.

I am fine with that. They may even have a healer's kit (or even a spellcaster with some healing) in the sanctuary.
I do not want to be the cause of the party doing the cheesy 15-minute adventuring day, that's all. There probably is some time pressure with food and water for all the survivors, so we can't take forever clearing the place.

I'm not sure that a swarmsuit would provide any protection from a rat swarm. I think it only helps against things too small to be damaged by weapons (it's basically a bee-keeper's suit).

Oh, my mistake. Well then Dervak will just hack at rats. Might still be good to get a swarm suit because Paizo loves their stupid swarms.

Many swarms are composed of vermin, which are immune, but rats are animals. I don't think the swarm template itself gives immunity to mind-affecting (though it does give immunity to effcts that target a specific number of creatures, Color Is not such an effect).

Mara does have Create Water, so we should be able to prevent the whole library from burning. If we're careful how we aim the Burning Hands spells, we could hopefully limit the damage.

Color spray will in fact work on rat swarms, by the way. Also, they were summoned which means that once a few rounds pass they disappear, and we can come back in the room.

I missed that they were summoned, but looking back it seems so. We could try negotiating, and if that doesn't work, we could leave and come back 5 minutes later and attack. Mara still has her Color Spray so, we could try today, just keep in mind the limited healing available.
