Mara will need to meditate and fill a number of open spell slots with healing prayers. Some of them can be mass cure spells, so don't heal up to full until she casts them.

My method, magically speaking, would have been the same as Mara's - fly over the city and get bearings that way, but that's already been shot down. So, my next option would be the Theseus route - mark our way through the maze of city streets so that we know where we've been, or at the very least, tie ourselves together so that no one gets lost.

You're fine on supplies. It was more of a concern for getting here faster.

Flying helps take short cuts but doesn't really help with navigation, which is part of the equation. The reality distortion is even enough that if you use ranged weapons at a long distance that there's a miss chance.
Your method falls into Mara's camp. I'll get a post up in a little bit about what happens as you go about things.

Done. Religion would take a 20 without Heroism. With Heroism, perception hits it on a 7.

RAW, no. But a lasso is a weapon so I find it hard to reconcile that putting a honda knot on one end of a rope suddenly makes it easier significantly easier to pull out. So ropes are weapon-like objects.

I will admit I'm having trouble writing for a character that considers humans like we might consider dogs. I think the writers of the path were too since I'm not given very much up front advice on how she reacts to discoveries she should very much react too. Only in the one instance where its necessary for plot advancement.

There are specific rules we'll need to follow when you decide to read the Necronomicon. This copy is written in Necril. The first step is to study it for 8 hours and succeed a DC 30 linguistics check.
Luckily you don't have to tackle that yet since Lowls always leaves a paper trail.

Depends on what you plan is. You have a couple of options to pursue. You know you need to follow Lowls, again, so you need the rituals to do that. That's studying the Necronomicon. You have a dungeon to explore underground and finally a Great Old One optional boss.

Those spells are on Mara's spell list (Greater Restoration is 7th, so she doesn't have it till next level). But buying them isn't a bad idea.

Total 57,329 GP.
Anything from the fungal-infected foes from earlier? They had a caster, an archer, and an armored dude.
Lacking anything there, shares would be 14,332 each. Which means Dervak has quite a ways to go before being able to afford the Ring of Evasion... but we may find more in this place.
Oh, and the Great Old One optional boss? Dervak is a "Hell, Yeah!" on that.

@CiCi, I think you get a regular feat as well as a bloodline feat at this level.
Dervak's main decisions are the feat and the Urban Bloodrager spell.
The feat is probably Steadfast Personality (+Cha, so +4, to all mind-affecting saves), but Inexplicable Luck is also an option.
The Urban Bloodrager spell (Brd4 or Mag4) is either Echolocation, Dance of a Hundred Cuts, or Grand Destiny.
Dance of a Hundred Cuts is really tempting, but does Dervak really need even better AC? (Well, yes if he wants to fight a Great Old One.) Echolocation offers outstanding situational usefulness.
