Don's bolt hits the maggot just below the mouth, lodging deep in to the creature.
Initiative Order
1. Tink, Iko, Don
2. Lynn, Giant Maggot 2
3. Giant Maggot 1(dead)
4. Steelgate <---
Iko just say if you want to jump in
The wriggling maggot makes to bite at Steelgate since he kicked its meal.
Bite: 1d20 ⇒ 201d6 ⇒ 2
confirm bite crit: 1d20 ⇒ 111d6 ⇒ 4

Iko_ |

Iko takes two long strides onto a large piece of rubble then launches himself at the maggot with his sword leading.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
But the rubble doesn't hold and he loses his footing on the way there and it throws his attack off completely.

Lynn Warhaven |

"I could help you repairing your cart." Lynn offers. She wipes her glaive clean at the dead spider.
Walking over she takes a look what it would take to get this running again.
Knowledge(engineering): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Tink_ |

"I need it to repair the cart so you don't need to walk."
Tink detects magic on the stones as he walks past to see what the blind man is on about.
"The dhammer will be useful as well. Thank you." Tink says collecting the hammer.
"The help would be appreciated." he says as he starts inspecting the cart closer.
"The cart didn't quite survive, it is broken, but hopefully we can get it fixed." Know Eng: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Can we use know eng to repair or are you going to make us use craft

Lynn Warhaven |

"Sorry but that is beyond me." Lynn tells looking dumbfounded at the cart. "I know how it belongs but I have no idea how to make that work again."
She turns her attention to the power stones instead.
"What do you mean they hold power?" Lynn asks Aravashnial. She casts detect magic to see if she knows herself.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

DM Raltus |

You can use K. Engi, really there is no Repair (cart) and it makes sense to use K. Engi since it rarely get used.
Tink looks down, the rocks are actually scales, silver dragon scales.
These palm-sized silver dragon scales are unique items—essentially minor artifacts resulting from Terendelev’s death on the Storm King’s blade.
Each of Terendelev’s scales grants a different power to the person who carries them. The powers granted do not function at all if more than one scale is carried. The powers of the four scales are listed below—any nonevil creature that handles a scale immediately understands its use.
Cloudwalking: Three times per day as a standard action, a scale can be used to cast levitate. A pillar of roiling clouds rises below the levitating object or creature, growing and shrinking with the target’s altitude. This pillar is 5 feet in diameter (regardless of the target’s size) and provides concealment (20% miss chance) to any creature or object wholly contained within.
Disguise: Three times per day as a standard action, a scale can be used to cast alter self. While disguised, the target gains a +4 bonus on all Bluff checks made against evil creatures.
Resistance: Three times per day as a standard action, a scale can be used to cast resist elements—but only against electricity or cold.
Sacred Weaponry: Three times per day as a standard action, a scale can be used to cast align weapon, but only to make a weapon lawful or good. Unlike a normal align weapon spell, this effect can be cast on an unarmed strike or natural weapon.

Lynn Warhaven |

Lynn picks one scale up. "These are scales of Terendelev!" she states the tears starting to roll down her cheeks again. She closes her eyes and holds the scale to her heart.
Scale Effect: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Sacred weaponry

Iko_ |

Iko walks over to Lynn and puts a hand on her shoulder for a moment to try and ease her pain, then kneels beside her and picks up one of the scales to look at it and his eyes go wide in understanding and he whispers. "Terendelev..."
Do we roll or do we choose?
If we roll...
Scale Power: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Not quite what I woulda chosen but it'll have to do.

Tink_ |

After fixing the cart Tink quickly makes his way over the the scales and picks one up. 1d2 ⇒ 2 "Now this is very interesting..." Tink says turning the scale over in his hand, "SteelGate, pack the cart please, and help our friend to it as well." Tink says as he sits down inspecting the thing closer.
"What do the others do?" he asks.

DM Raltus |

You can choose as you wish, once you pick up a scale you will understand what it can do
Aniva allows SteelGate to assist her to the cart as she sits down in the back.
Horgus moves over towards the card as well, hoping into the front looking the proud nobleman being doted on.
Aravashnial picks up a scale as well, "What do you plan to do with these? "

Lynn Warhaven |

Lynn is really pissed by this fat, rich, full of himself jerk. She walks over to face him. Face to face at an inch distance. "Listen jerk. I said I'll take you along to get out of here on two conditions. Right now you're failing on both. Your money and rank is worth nothing in this hell hole. And no one knows if your nice house with that nice money is still standing or if the whole town is a burnt wasteland by now. So shut up if what you have to say isn't helpful."
"If you don't like that you can get lost and die on your own. See if I care. Got that?"

Lynn Warhaven |

Did we get introduced already?
"He is still in one piece and not bleeding. So I don't think we're fighting." Lynn replies but leaves Horgus alone for now. Lynn is very tense due to these dire circumstances and Horgus manages easily to bring out her worst side.
She moves over to Aniva and takes a deep breath. "Shall I help you to get on the cart?" she offers.

Iko_ |

Iko stands aside and watches the exchange between Lynn and Horgus and says "A sharp tongue or quill can kill without a knife."
Then moves too look for an exit, not going too far ahead, he looks to see which is the less precarious route out.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

DM Raltus |

Who has a light source, I it very dark down here and Aniva has cast light on a rock again but it is on the wagon. before proceeding you may want to think about light sources.
As you approach the spider again you can see that the tunnel branches off 1 to the north and 1 to the south.
This smaller cavern appears to have once served as a campsite
or temporary lair. A torn bedroll lies next to the cold remains of
a fire. A pile of bones, broken equipment, and rubble lies just
past the campsite.
A stone ledge juts out at a right angle on the south wall of
this cavern, fourteen feet off the ground. The leather strap of
a backpack hangs from the edge of the ledge, while above, a
narrow fissure yawns up into the dark.

Lynn Warhaven |

Not in the mood to accept suggestions from someone else as a set rule Lynn takes a look at the southern path. Her glaive at the ready. She checks carefully if something is around and once she is sure that nothing hides in here she uses her glaive to get the strap to take a closer look at it.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Own size with stretched out arm plus glaive should be enough.

DM Raltus |

Splitting up already eh?
Northern Route:
Don find the ruins of a camp, the camp looks like it was used a few days ago but you cannot be certain how long ago. DC 15 Survival, A large pile of debris and garbage lies just to the to the northern part of this cave.
Southern Route:
A pack is spotted hanging about 20 ft up on the air over a 15 foot ledge down. Lynn moves to the edge and going on her tip toes holds her glaive at the very end to get the pack down. Not expecting the pack to be so heavy Lynn starts to lose her balance.
DC 10 Acrobatics check, DC 10 reflex save for those with Lynn to grab her to stop the fall.

Iko_ |

Iko was sort of in the middle and only suggested the north but did not go either way. So if he's close enough...
Iko looking at Lynn going in a different direction watches her as she goes and reaches for the bag when he spots her overextending her reach. He bounds off in the blink of an eye, pushing himself off the floor and ricochet's off the wall nearby and into a spin before landing right beside Lynn to catch her before she goes over the edge...
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Lynn Warhaven |

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 - 5 ⇒ (12) + 6 - 5 = 13
Lynn lets the Glaive slide down through her hand which helps to not tilt towards the ledge over the tipping point. But it is nice to be caught by the monk. She smiles a bashful smile at him. "Let's take a look what's inside, shall we?"
Lynn takes a step away from the ledge and squats down to check on the backpack's content.

Iko_ |

Iko smiles and places his hands together in a slight bow. "Why yes. Thank you that would be most kind. It took all I had to come here so this pack would be most helpful should we find anything of use."
Then takes the backpack and slings it over his shoulder. "Perhaps northward with the rest? Strength in numbers."
