Don begins to rummage round in the refuse pile, as he does he disturbs 2 very large roaches who come out ready to defend their home from all invaders.

Iko reflexively draws his temple sword and slashes in an arc at the nearest roach.

"I bet you a silver that it will not." Lynn challenges Don.
Where is Papa Roach?

Lynn Warhaven |

Lynn places herself just so that she can't reach the roach. She readies an attack for when the remaining one walks into reach.

Between Don and Iko they both manage to squash the roaches, the junk pile is not just a pile of junk. It does provide the group with, torn bedroll, three candle stubs (each can burn for 30 minutes),
a bent fishhook, 10 feet of badly frayed hemp rope, and a
copper brooch depicting a bat perched on a mushroom—
both of the bat’s eyes are tiny amethysts.

DM Raltus |

Travel Time 20 minutes
As you travel down the tight tunnel the sides of the cart scrape along the rock, echoing down the tunnel. The tunnel starts to widen a bit, a minute later you enter a chamber about 10 feet across and 12 feet long. The squished remains of what looks like some sort of snake likes under 2 medium sized stones.

Iko_ |

Iko remains silent. He knows that this is dangerous territory especially since there's already been creatures of enormous size they've stumbled upon within half an hour. He listens for any sounds that isn't being made by him or his travelling companions.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

DM Raltus |

You will probably need a few light sources going at a time.
Lynn looks around but nothing else in the Tunnel strikes her as dangerous or out of place. As the group moves along the tunnels get narrow and slow the wagon right down. The group walks in silence ? for another 25 -30 minutes with the only noise coming from feet and the scraping of the side of the wagon. On the left hand side you can see what looks like a split off from the main Tunnel.

Lynn Warhaven |

Lynn has no delusions about them being stealthy with the cart rumbling over the rough path here. But around the corner you can't see and someone could jump out. Therefore she readies her weapon and moves close to the left wall up to the point where she can carefully with a short motion forward and back take a look into this other path.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Looking 60 feet into the dark as if in normal light.

Lynn Warhaven |

Quiz show going on with the buzzer stuck?
Lynn turns left into the alternate path. As the buzzing becomes clearer she stops and readies an Attack. "Careful. I guess there's more vermin here."
Readied Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 201d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 in case the buzzer comes into reach
AoO Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d10 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 in case an enemy without reach tries to attack her

Iko_ |

Iko backs Lynn up by her side with his temple sword ready.
Not sure if a readied attack can be a Flurry, if so I'll put both my attacks cos he'll flurry like a crazy person.
Readied Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Readied Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

DM Raltus |

As Lynn comes around the corner her Darkvision takes over, a large form moves upon the wall about 10 feet up and 20 feet away from her current position, edging closer Lynn comes out of the small tunnel and into the main chamber. At the last second Lynn hears the buzzing coming from above her as well, a large white fly drops down to attack Lynn.
Thrusting upwards with her Glaive Lynn makes a large gouge into the thorax of the fly.

Not wanting to be bitten by any of these critters she keeps with her tactic of awaiting them.

AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 141d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
"Has someone a bow?" Lynn asks.

Lynn Warhaven |

"Ehmmm, this is getting boring pretty soon if no one has a ranged weapon." Lynn comments as all stand there waiting. She picks up a stone and throws it at the fly.
Throw: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 2 = 91d4 ⇒ 2
She then takes her waiting stance again.

DM Raltus |

I will activate now, I was going to see if Tink goes.
The remaining fly looks around the room with his odd eyes and flies at the light source to attack. Lynns Readied action misses but as the fly gets past Lynn she manages to leave a deep gouge in the thorax of the fly.
Iko your readied action?
Bite vs Don: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 211d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Filth Fever: Bite—injury; save Fortitude DC 14; onset 1d3 days; frequency 1/day; effect 1d3 Dex damage and 1d3 Con damage; cure 2 consecutive saves.

Lynn Warhaven |

Before someone get's eaten alive: I have combat reflexes and flying past me is a dangerous game. You decide how many moves from threatened squares this fly makes. I just give you the rolls for the remaining AoOs I can make.
AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 121d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Meh. More like shooing the fly away.

DM Raltus |

The last one hits and kills the fly, so Don takes no damage
Just as the Fly goes to bite into Don Lynn again deftly slices the wings off the fly dropping it face first in the rough stone ground killing it.
A single sizable 20-foot-tall building remains in the center of
this 30-foot-high cave, a bunker like structure with no windows
and walls of worked stone blocks. A 10-foot-long carving of a
hammer decorates the building’s facade. The ruins of collapsed
outbuildings stand to either side.

Lynn Warhaven |

Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
"Really a temple of Torag?" Lynn exclaims as she sees the hammer chiseled in stone. "Let's move in and see if we find some good soul inside." she suggests and takes the lead to the entrance.

DM Raltus |

As Don and Lynn move to the side of the building the see what looks like a solid stone door.
DC 15 str check to open the door
After opening the door you have to enter the antechamber 1 by 1.
A stone bench lines the southern wall of this chamber. At the
far side of the room, a basin of water sits atop a stone pedestal.
A stone door engraved with an image of a hammer stands to
the north.
Aniva gets down from the wagon just before Horgus does as well.

Horgus Gwerm_ NPC |

Horgus stops short of Aniva, looking about the room while holding a torch.
"She is just going to slow us down once we cannot use the wagon, lets leave her here and the Gods will protect this thief if they are real."

Aniva Tirablade_NPC |

Aniva turns cold eyes on Horgus.
"Your faith in Abdar is stronger than most of the Crusaders faith in their gods that come here. Don't you TELL ME THE GODS AREN'T REAL!! You are in this for the money, I know all about you. Everyone in Kenabres does, you supply most of the cold Iron to the Crusaders to defeat the demons."
