This will teach me to root around in the trash!

"I bet you a silver that it will not." Lynn challenges Don.

Where is Papa Roach?

Ratfolk Crafter 6 (HP 63)

"Steel gate, please help deal with those." he says indicating the roaches as he looks around and casts detect magic

SteelGate walks up and tries to squash one of the roaches. Attack, damage: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Lynn places herself just so that she can't reach the roach. She readies an attack for when the remaining one walks into reach.

Between Don and Iko they both manage to squash the roaches, the junk pile is not just a pile of junk. It does provide the group with, torn bedroll, three candle stubs (each can burn for 30 minutes),
a bent fishhook, 10 feet of badly frayed hemp rope, and a
copper brooch depicting a bat perched on a mushroom—
both of the bat’s eyes are tiny amethysts.

Human Paladin 3

Well we have some candle stubs and a broach. Dob puts the stubs on the cart for illumination and takes the brooch.

Aasimar Warpriest (7) - HP 93, AC 18/12/16 (Large 16/10/15), FRW 7/4/8, Ini +7, Perc. +13

"Are we done scavaging the refuse?" Lynn asks and moves further on the way.

"Lynn is right. The longer we stay the more danger will find us." Iko says and walks to join Lynn along the way.

Human Paladin 3

Aye. Don marches with them.

M Construct Eidolon (HP 60)

SteelGate moves back to the cart and starts pulling once again.

Tink however inspects as much as he can for as long as he can before running to jump onto the cart

Travel Time 20 minutes

As you travel down the tight tunnel the sides of the cart scrape along the rock, echoing down the tunnel. The tunnel starts to widen a bit, a minute later you enter a chamber about 10 feet across and 12 feet long. The squished remains of what looks like some sort of snake likes under 2 medium sized stones.

Aasimar Warpriest (7) - HP 93, AC 18/12/16 (Large 16/10/15), FRW 7/4/8, Ini +7, Perc. +13

Lynn stabs at the squished snake to make sure it is dead and takes a step back to await the result.
Stab Glaive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 191d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Human Paladin 3

It might be lair to some parasites like earlier. Don holds his weapon ready to strike if something leaps out.[/b]

Iko remains silent. He knows that this is dangerous territory especially since there's already been creatures of enormous size they've stumbled upon within half an hour. He listens for any sounds that isn't being made by him or his travelling companions.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

The snake is very dead, it looks like it was trapped under a rock and during the demon siege the disturbances to the earth unleashed more rubble. The tunnel appears very safe though despite all the problems with demons coming up from underground.

Aniva turns at the mans words, opening her mouth to say something but stopping herself. She moves to adjust herself in the back of the cart to keep the pain down in her leg.

A mischievous smile sneaks onto Lynn's face. She looks around that she didn't miss anything and then moves on.

You will probably need a few light sources going at a time.

Lynn looks around but nothing else in the Tunnel strikes her as dangerous or out of place. As the group moves along the tunnels get narrow and slow the wagon right down. The group walks in silence ? for another 25 -30 minutes with the only noise coming from feet and the scraping of the side of the wagon. On the left hand side you can see what looks like a split off from the main Tunnel.

Male half-elf unchained monk 6 Mythic 1; HP 64/92; Init +4; low-light vision; AC 18, touch 17, flat-footed 14; Fort +6, Ref +9, Will +4; +2 vs. enchantments; Perception +13

Iko looks at both tunnels. "Which way?"

Aasimar Warpriest (7) - HP 93, AC 18/12/16 (Large 16/10/15), FRW 7/4/8, Ini +7, Perc. +13

Lynn has no delusions about them being stealthy with the cart rumbling over the rough path here. But around the corner you can't see and someone could jump out. Therefore she readies her weapon and moves close to the left wall up to the point where she can carefully with a short motion forward and back take a look into this other path.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Looking 60 feet into the dark as if in normal light.

Human Paladin 3

Don lights a new torch after the candles go out and will stay back, since his heavy armor clanks a bunch.

who is going first?

Once you enter the off shoot chamber it starts to get larger very quickly, a building of some sort can be noted about 20 feet away from the cave entrance.

A buzzing noise can be heard in the room.

Aasimar Warpriest (7) - HP 93, AC 18/12/16 (Large 16/10/15), FRW 7/4/8, Ini +7, Perc. +13

Quiz show going on with the buzzer stuck?

Lynn turns left into the alternate path. As the buzzing becomes clearer she stops and readies an Attack. "Careful. I guess there's more vermin here."

Iko backs Lynn up by her side with his temple sword ready.

Human Paladin 3

Don gets his hammer ready to strike if hostiles appear.

As Lynn comes around the corner her Darkvision takes over, a large form moves upon the wall about 10 feet up and 20 feet away from her current position, edging closer Lynn comes out of the small tunnel and into the main chamber. At the last second Lynn hears the buzzing coming from above her as well, a large white fly drops down to attack Lynn.

Thrusting upwards with her Glaive Lynn makes a large gouge into the thorax of the fly.

"I do not not." Iko says but readies himself to attack as soon as the creature comes within range.

Human Paladin 3

I gave my crossbow to Aniva

M Construct Eidolon (HP 60)

SteelGate steps forward and does the same

Did Tink not give Aniva back her bow? I thought Tink did, so Don you would still have your xbow

Aasimar Warpriest (7) - HP 93, AC 18/12/16 (Large 16/10/15), FRW 7/4/8, Ini +7, Perc. +13

"Ehmmm, this is getting boring pretty soon if no one has a ranged weapon." Lynn comments as all stand there waiting. She picks up a stone and throws it at the fly.
Throw: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 2 = 91d4 ⇒ 2

She then takes her waiting stance again.

I will activate now, I was going to see if Tink goes.

The remaining fly looks around the room with his odd eyes and flies at the light source to attack. Lynns Readied action misses but as the fly gets past Lynn she manages to leave a deep gouge in the thorax of the fly.

Meh. More like shooing the fly away.

The last one hits and kills the fly, so Don takes no damage

Just as the Fly goes to bite into Don Lynn again deftly slices the wings off the fly dropping it face first in the rough stone ground killing it.

A single sizable 20-foot-tall building remains in the center of
this 30-foot-high cave, a bunker like structure with no windows
and walls of worked stone blocks. A 10-foot-long carving of a
hammer decorates the building’s facade. The ruins of collapsed
outbuildings stand to either side.

"Really a temple of Torag?" Lynn exclaims as she sees the hammer chiseled in stone. "Let's move in and see if we find some good soul inside." she suggests and takes the lead to the entrance.

Human Paladin 3

Don follows

As Don and Lynn move to the side of the building the see what looks like a solid stone door.

DC 15 str check to open the door

After opening the door you have to enter the antechamber 1 by 1.
A stone bench lines the southern wall of this chamber. At the
far side of the room, a basin of water sits atop a stone pedestal.
A stone door engraved with an image of a hammer stands to
the north.

Aniva gets down from the wagon just before Horgus does as well.
