As a Player, I am very interested in the Chain shirt+1. This mimics his current Scale armor. Does anyone else wear chain?
BB should be getting bigger and beefier armor, but magic chain is okay for right now, but only as long as others can't use it.
The Headband of Alluring Charisma is an ability score that BB wants to improve! He'd love it from a roleplaying and public speaking perspective.
What do you guys think? I don't want to take all the magic items.


Does Cats or Fearless have UMD for a supporting wand user?

The Mariner wears a non magical chain mail now. And he has a few protective magic items already. Magic items:

ring of protection +1

I think Cats and Fearless were waiting for armor upgrade. I'm cool with that.

We can even eBay some existing stuff.

Mariner should get the +1 Chain Shirt. I thought he had something. He's our only melee. BB is a hit point sponge to take attacks from Mariner. It's better if those attacks miss Mariner in the first place.

Mariner should get the chain shirt, but if not...

Cats could use the chain shirt, but if BB is going to be in combat more than Cats, he should take it. Cats is currently in his lvl 1 Studded Leathers.

Mariner, Cats can use some wands, including wands of CLW.


Headband for Brother

I'll defer on armor - Cats or Fearless gets the +1 chain shirt - you guys decide.

Cats should have the wand. We saw here where the blood loss was greater than BB's healing per round. Strategic double healing maybe needed at times.

I say sell Amulet of mighty fists +1, and trident.

The Mariner needs to replen a CMW potion for emergency.

+1 to all Mariner's solutions. Cats with +1 chain shirt. Fearless just got an intelligence bonus Ion stone.
I will take the headband so I get +1 more on all the talking I do.Next level, I am putting skill points into bluff.

Out of character. I know that we need to do some major healing, but I have no idea how many charges I used. I was going to go through the log and count from the new wand. My earlier post was intended to do some in character actions while delaying on the healing -as I don't have a clue what we have left. ?i think this one wand is almost done and we have another "market bought" wand plus this new one from the Skum.

I'll do a count and heal very soon. I didn't forget about people, I just didn't want to spend more resources than we have.

Yup, Cats take armor and wand. Fearless has a couple ranks in UMD but still below a 50% pass chance.

BTW, The Player side of me would use the treat deadly wounds skill on each of us, but BB is just sooo tired and lazy and angry about his boots. So, on the PC side of the coin.... we don't have that available tonight. Sorry guys. I just wanted to post in the discussion area that I have not forgotten about that ability. It's just that BB is in an A-hole mood right now.

@GM - I did the calcuations and we used 38 charges from the "Schmetterling" Command word CLW Wands.
There's still the Kerfuffle Command Word Wand and Cat's has the Chainmail Skum's CLW Wand at 22/25.

How many charges did the above two CLW's start with? 50 asindicated on the Pathfinder website?
If so: 12/50 - Schmetterling
50/50 - Kerffuffle.

@Players - Cat's - Please add an Amulet of Nartural Armor to your character. We got it from the Soulsliver. We also got a couple other things that will probably be sold at the market. Does anyone have the ability to cast these spells from the scrolls or use short swords?

Nah. The amulet is better sold than hung around the neck of Cats...especially if no one else has need of it.

@ Cats. I'd like to make use of the Amulet.
Fearless - you are next in line to get it. I noticed that you probably don't have a Natural Armor bonus. If you don't take it, BB will get it. He needs anything that can improve his AC

Did Anyone else notice that the GM renamed the enemy from " The Thing" To "Thrushmoor Terror"? In the initiative list.
Is this something we've identified "In Game"?

Players, Any suggestions about Silent Image that might scare the Thrushmoor Terror? I got nothing that jumps to mind other than an image of Cats that dodges and tumbles and keeps it's attention on IT rather than Mariner. We know it thinks Cats is a threat.
Any suggestions?

@ GM - I totally agree with you. I did Waaaayyy to much.
To my defense, I got the impression that you didn't want to " GM control the NPC's to save the day". But instead have US do it for this encounter.
That was why I did so much. It seemed like I was supposed to orchestrate a defense.
So, again, sorry for the excess post. I'll keep it under control for the future.

Lastly, Holy Moly! What a crazy reveal that the thing we are fighting is Haserton's dead mom?!

@ Fearless - You can use the mage armor on BB, as I can't just pass off the activated Wand.
Also, for Mage Armor, it helps in this situation as this think is just using touch attacks.
Mage Armor -
Unlike mundane armor, mage armor entails no armor check penalty, arcane spell failure chance, or speed reduction. Since mage armor is made of force, incorporeal creatures can’t bypass it the way they do normal armor.

I am just now starting the Glass Cannon Podcasts! On Episode 2, and I find it interesting that there is a Cleric of Desna in their group. I'm interested in seeing how DIFFERENT the two clerics are.
BTW: they seem to be decent comedians, but you guys are waaay better GM's for your games. I'm not sucking up, I just find your GM'ing styles have better character/NPC and flow to the game. It's just the start of the podcasts, but the GM seems a bit afraid to actually... act out a character.

Shit. Definitions 2 and 4 are most applicable here.

Like the number of times these yahoos go unconscious, are healed, and get back up and don't use a move action to pick up their weapons.../me grognards all over the podcast.


To their credit, the GCP are often aware of their f’ups, and even have a blog called “We are stupid” that addresses them.

When they started their podcast they were just messing around in their apartments. Now they are the official Paizo podcast and hold GCP events all over the country. They have gotten much better over time, with a lot of personal character development and original content that starts kicking in around episode 40. When Nestor Coyne arrives the podcast becomes pretty amazing.

I had a character once named Nestor. TOTAL nerd character he could only hold reasonable conversations with his unseen servant spell. He'd get totally unnerved if a woman was in the room. This waaaaaay predated Raj from Big Bang Theory.


Howie the Greensting Scorpion is great too, but they keep forgetting he is around.

I also like how in awe they are with the gunslinger character type, and how thankful they are that they have a cleric in the party! I agree!

Quick Summary - Everyone buy their stuff. We also have cleared 3220 GP. Everyone take either 805GP or 644GP and add it to your characters. GM- please advise if Pinkie gets a cut (805 w/o and 644 w/ Pinkie).

Fort Hailcourse dining room: Tableware (goblets, platters, candlesticks, and more), decorations, and tablecloths in the chests are worth a total of 200 gp. A pair of crystal goblets, used for marriage ceremonies, rests in a velvet-lined box and is worth 250 gp as a set.

There were a lot more undead mercenaries then you accounted for.
