I also got a druid (lvl2) who I can play, if we need a tank with a bit of healing power.

I'm definitely up for another go 'round with this group (though I may not be playing Cressyk - we'll see).

Archibald is a lot of fun! I want to see him to as high a level as I can. I'm pretty sure I can claim XP for the first part of Reign of Winter, as well as possibly our Runelords game as well, although I'm not 100% sure how it works.

All the same while I'm keen to keep playing him I'm beginning to fall behind on my Adventure Path PbPs so I'm a little torn. Definitely let me know if you start something up though! I'll have Archibald's purchases done by weeks end. I'm pretty slow with these things.

You only get to claim the XP for AP parts if they are expressly PFS legal. At least my RotRL game is not, and therefore you can't get the xp for Seldon in that game. The PFS component is Thistletop, where you're headed now anyway.

I was kinda thinking Mists of Mwangi next 00-05, and then doing the Blakros Museum thread which covers 6-7 more scenarios.

My other choice is 00-02 Hydra Fang Incident or 00-04 Frozen Fingers of Midnight. (I started buying the season zero first, can you tell...)

00-02 Hydra Fang is searching for an active pirate ship on the Isle of Kortos.

00-04 Frozen Fingers is trying to find a cure for curse of an Ulfen friend of the Society.

00-05 Mists of Mwangi is exploring strange goings-on at the Blakros Museum in Absalom.

Make a vote and majority rules. All are tier 1-2 at this point.

I would be up for anything, really. More interested in continuing with the group than in a particular scenario...unless that's the wrong way to approach things? I mean, do people usually go out of their way to play certain scenarios with certain characters for certain rewards?

In my experience with PbP, if you find a good group and a reliable DM, you stay with it. Even if it means shuffling PC's or adding a person here or there.

None of the actual rewards are usually good enough to justify wanting a specific Chron sheet per character, especially when you make enough gold just to buy what you want.

I just wanted your opinion or to see if you'd run any of these others.

I have no preference. Rhanloi already has a cold-weather outfit and came from an arctic homeland, so Frozen Fingers is an option. Of course, rxploring strange goings-on sounds like a good follow-on to our just-concluded adventure. (Plus I like the idea of follow-on games =)

I think that we should do Frozen Fingers first, and then Mists of Mwangi with the Blackros Museum thread because once we're done with that thread we'll be in a higher tier and unable to complete Frozen Fingers with these characters.

I have just a curiosity question - are there any scenarios that put us in prison or otherwise rob us of our resources? If so, I'd like to play at least one of those in our string of adventures. As much of a pain those are, they're a bit of a unique experience for characters.

I'm fine with playing Jiro, but since we lost our cleric along the way I figured I'd put the option out there. As for adventures and their rewards, I know nothing about such things.

The suggested string of adventures looks fine to me!

Cressyk - inquisitor and smasher of many foes
Jiro - samurai skilled with blade and tongue
Rhanloi - archery based wizard
Elael - elf rogue, knife master
Archibald - grumpy old wizard

I will open a recruitment for a 6th if you wish, but this group seemed pretty strong and balanced before and should be again.

If you want to run a different character, LMK and we can discuss.

I will try to get a Discussion Thread and link up for the new game tonight/tomorrow.

I'm good with the current crew. I would also like to purchase the scroll of cure moderate wounds from the chron sheet.

Okay, so I jumped the gun and submitted Cressyk to another PbP. I think he will probably be chosen, so he won't be available. I've got a level 1 fighter available, though, if that won't throw off the balance too much...

Whoops - looks like Rhanloi is in the same boat - he just got recruited into another game, so I have to withdraw here. I have my hanads full, so I'm out.

Would you mind recording the following purchases for Elael - a mithral rapier (520gp) and a wand of cure light wounds for the 2PP?

The mithral rapier is 500gp/lb. A standard rapier is 2 lbs, so you;d be paying 1020gp for that item. Don't think you have that cash. I can add the CLW wand for 2PP if you still want.

Wouldn't it be 500gp/lb of mithral being used? There's only one pound of mithral because the mithral rapier is only one pound.

I'll remove it and take the cash for something else if I'm wrong, of course, and of course I want the CLW wand either way.

I looked at the messageboards on this and the guidance is pretty much split down the middle, and while it's been flagged as FAQ many times, there isn't a definitive answer.

If you can find a definite answer, I'll look at it, but Hero Lab wants it to be 1020gp, and I'll stand on that until something better comes along.

I am interpreting that the 500gp is per pound of steel being replaced, not per pound of mithral being used.

I am happy for any corrections that have citations.

Alrighty then, I'm okay with saving some of my cash!
