I will be hiking deep in the middle of the Rocky mountains from the 20th to the 27th of this month. As such my internet access even via cell phone will be someplace between spotty to non-existent for that whole time.
As such, please feel free to bot Mirela as I highly doubt I'll be able to post.
In case I didn't already say so, I am also away. The family and I are in Belize until 7/25. Have internet in our rooms, but we will be spending most of the days away on different adventures.
I will be able to post some, but it will be hit and miss until we return to the States a week from today.
Leaving in the AM to take my oldest kiddo to college for Freshman year. Will be gone till Thurs PM, and will likely be too busy (or emotionally wrecked) to post.

I MIGHT be wrong, but….
Did anyone received the PFS chronicles for the first book? I've seen yesterday they have been credited to the intended character, but I can't find the chronicle itself.
In fact, I just need to know how much gold we get ( we have 3 XP and some 4 Prestige, that I know), and if any interesting items were available
If you have an interest in something new, I have posted the initial recruitment thread for my Terra Nova campaign. It is a homebrew campaign that is open source, to some extent. Feel free to look around, make a character, and see what develops. My idea is a bit novel, but the having multiple groups form and re-form using a hub location and then go off on their own threads for different adventures is the general idea.
Feedback and suggestions are always welcome. Hope you take a chance on it.
Defeated: 6 wererats, 3 dire rats, and 1 rat swarm. The total from this combat is 1150xp. This adds to make your cumulative total 12,961/15,000 or about 59% to level 6.
Resources Used: Devan: 2 panache points used (1 remains);
Mirela: cast calm animals; used 5 silver arrows (30 remain)
Twilight: one charge of daze monster wand used (6 remain); 1 charge of CLW wand used (38 remain); one Bit of Luck used (4 remain)
Interesting.... So the Wererat has over a 25 CMD vs trip? That's impressive and means that Whisper really can't do anything against the rat except take up space.
Unless she manages a Crit I guess.
Not that I'm complaining at all, just taking up space seems to be perfect for what the the rest of you are looking for right now.
Tactically it's been a very interesting fight... Every character has done exactly what they do best and had a big swing in the combat because of it.
The use of the Silent Image was particularly inspired Twilight.
Defeated: 3 dire rats and Girrigz, a level 6 natural wererat fighter. Combined these foes are worth 700xp per player. This moves your cumulative total to 13,661/15,000 or about 73% to next level.
I have to apologize for the long delays between posts. I have found my gaming time reduced by some other distractions and am trying to free myself back up for as much gaming as I have taken on. My new Terra Nova campaigns are also taking up more of my time.
I have decided to prioritize games instead of just first come/first served, and I am putting this thread at the top of the priority list, so that i will post here first whenever I log in. That will keep this story moving pretty fast, as it did when we first started.
Again, sorry for the delays, but we should see a noticeable quickening of the pace, if you are all ready for that.

Yes, it was an alchemical thing that would take 1 hr for a check. As we had a meeting to attend we opted to wait for Atticus to examine it. This seems like a good time to do so.
The rats are using the bodies as food. So would the bodies be valid targets for Purify Food and drink?
It's a cantrip so Mirela could cast this over and over and could probably eventually cover the whole pile. It has a range of 10 feet so she could cast this at range.
So would it be reasonable to cast this on the corpses outside the pile and once they are clean pull the corpses off and cast it on the next layer of bodies down... Going on until the pile is clear and there is no risk to moving them?
We don't know how the disease transmits yet, but if it transmits by touch, hopefully the cantrip would should significantly reduce (or eliminate) the possibility of contracting the disease if we (or whoever moves them) disposes of the bodies.
And of course, since it's a cantrip that even acolytes could cast, it would significantly cut down on the spread of the disease from the dead if we got all the temples on board, by having their accolites cast this to help those who are carting the bodies away.
Let me know if I"m totally off the rails here, but reading the spell, it seems like it might work.
It would be nice to cure the entire plague by spamming a cantrip, but that's not going to work. The dead bodies are not food per se, you could argue almost anything is food for something... but its just out of scope for the this situation.
If you mess with these bodies you will have a risk of contracting the blood veil, which you can reduce or forestall with more powerful (and appropriate) divine spells, but this one isn't going to fit the bill.

Nargun, you can draw a weapon as part of a move action, I'm pretty sure. As long as you have a +1 Base Attack.

Sheesh...I've had a terribly busy week, and I've been on vacation! Hopefully our GM has just been inundated with the holiday season and things will normalize after we bring in the New Year. Happy holidays to all of you!
