I'm not sure we resolved the drained levels from the vampire spawns, even if I'm sure I posted a roll somewhere

It's been a very long day in real time, but I believe Nargun has 2 negative levels, and Devan, Mirela and Atticus all have 1 negative levels.

I believe it's 380 a person for whoever wants the spell.
That would clear all your negative levels.

If you chose not to pay then you have to make a Fort Save for each level.
For any failures the level becomes permanent. Then the cost to remove it becomes 1280.

If you make your save vs the DC then the level just goes away.

Just to be clear you can also use Harrow points to reroll Con saves this adventure.

Let me know who wants healing and we can finish that up and end the day.

By the way sorry things have moved so slow. I'm in 11+ hour days at work plus the family so finding time to post has been hard.

You said it yourself that it has been a tough year and there are plenty of things that take priority at the moment. I think a slower pace under the circumstances is understandable.

Well, here we are.

This group had a unique feel to it and the loss of two of our members will change that dynamic pretty substantially. I had a character set piece involving everyone that I was working towards that might be a little odd now :/

That being said I am still invested in the game and the remaining characters and am willing to move forward with the right replacements.

I"m sad. I was really looking forward to that character set piece. And honestly don't quiet know how Mirella will act without Devan around to bounce off of.

But given this was my favorite game, I would still be interested in moving forward with the right group.

I am going to re-post the build rules taking into consideration our new level. Any suggestions on what the starting wealth should be?

I was also wondering, should we get a GM before we start adding a new player? The new GM might have some personal preferences for a new addition, or at the very least we want to make sure there is actually a game before recruiting.

Any thoughts?

Character Build Rules

1) Characters should be level 6. Core races only (no exceptions). Any class indicated in Paizo-published material is acceptable.

2) 20 pt buy. No obvious min-maxing please. Should not be above 18 after racial bonuses, nor under 8 (without a good reason). Please consider how you will role-play your character when making stats. An 8 CHA will need to be played that way.

3) HP should be full HD at first level and then will be PFS-style (1/2 HD +1) for subsequent levels.

4) Character's should be considered heroes, and as such, will not be of evil alignment. Others are acceptable, but be prepared to role-play the alignment you choose.

5) As stated above any Paizo-published items will be considered. No 3PP will be allowed.

6) Starting wealth will be XXXgp.

Tips for Successful Submissions (These are preferences, so follow them at your own peril)

1) Characters traits, feats, alignment, gear, stats etc should be part of a cohesive whole that fits the character. It's obvious when a PC is built for optimization only, and I'll be looking past those. Instead, the submissions that get my focus, have a backstory and history that ties the whole build together.

2) Be Role-Play friendly. A silent thuggish type, or a schizophrenic paranoid may be fun to build, but the opportunities to interact with others are limited. I am looking for a team that works well together and can communicate.

3) Remember your character starts at first level. An incredibly complicated backstory where your hero has survived many trial and tribulations probably doesn't fit well into a first level character background. Choice selections will have a story that fits their experience, which is limited.

4) Party balance is important to me. Typically will need a front line hitter, an arcane type, a divine type, a skill monkey, and a wild-card to make it work. Consider who else has applied if you want a good chance of making the game.

5) This is an urban adventure based in Korvosa, which is the leading city of Varisia. Characters who are built and fit this area will have preference. The Players Guide for this adventure may give some important tips.

As far as the GM or players first is concerned, either could work:
Maybe a GM would like to have a say in the recruiting of one or two new players
or maybe having an already created team of players just needing a GM could be an incentive enough

I'm not sure how close or how far we are from "regular" wealth for our level, I suppose we might be a little low. We should check on the loot sheet, that could help

Probably GM first.... Players often want to play right away and we don't want to get them in then have them lose the desire to play because we are waiting weeks for the GM to start.

Items 3 and four for the Character build rules should probably be modified... They aren't 1st level and we are really looking for a Skill monkey and wildcard... The party is actually reasonably balanced. with just the three of us.

I really don't feel comfortable about someone else playing Devan or Atticus.
As much as it would fit the story, that just feels wrong to me. I'd rather have a new character, Aleira or some NPC come back.
But Not Devan or Atticus.
