We've definitely been patient, but it's time to cast feelers out, I agree. Perhaps work just overwhelmed DoctorEvil, as it does so often.

What do we think?
Start looking next week or wait to the month's end?
Evil's been a great DM and I would hate to jump the gun on looking for a replacement for his own game.

Another week doesn't seem unreasonable. DoctorEvil has been an outstanding GM.
Well I did it. I just posted a recruitment thread for a new GM. See here:
https://paizo.com/threads/rzs42xex?Need-new-GM-for-long-running-CotCT-game# 1
Feel free to add in if you think I missed anything.
If push comes to shove, I would be willing to step in as GM, but if that happens Mirella would need to step back significantly. (Or we would need to replace her)
But I would want buy-in from you all before I consider this.
I just got PMed by GM Dak. To me at least he looks perfect to take over for Doctor Evil.
Take a look at his GM profile (Linked above) and let me know what you think. He is pretty explicit about what he expects from players.
He doesn't know CotCT so would need a little time to ramp up, (He's thinking a week or two) but to me at least that's not unreasonable given what we are asking.
Thoughts?
I'd like to see everyone's buy-in here before I reply and tell him if we are interested or not, so I'll PM each of you in addition to make sure you get this.

I think GM Dak would be a wonderful fit for our campaign. Seems like he likes to keep things pushing forward but also allows for RP opportunity, which is right up our alley. I vote yes.
Greetings all! Mirela noted you all were on board with me taking over so I wanted to drop in and say hi.
Here is my plan and I may need a little assistance from you all. First off, I am going to start reading through the AP. I believe it was noted you are somewhere in book 2. Since I'm not overly familiar with it (I'm actually in a CotCT game that is just in book 1 now) I'll start with book one and then catch up to book 2. After that I'll work on reading through the gameplay and taking notes as needed.
This is one area that I could use some help from all of you. If you can go through and compile a summary of major events so far and the days they occurred on that would be a huge help. I'll try to do the same as I read through the gameplay up to this point, but since you all have been there for it all, it is helpful to get it from your point of view. If you want an example of what I'm talking about check out one of my other games I'm GMing like this Second Darkness game I took over. The history of events is what I'm looking for. (NOTE - There are likely spoilers in there about the Second Darkness AP in case you try to avoid being spoiled)
Once I get through all that I'll kick things off. My goal is to get this started no later than Feb. 24, but hopefully I will be able to get going even sooner than that.
As noted in my GM profile, for those interested, feel free to jump on my Discord. I'm reachable on there most of the day during the weekdays and on and off on the weekend so it is a great way to ping me for questions or whatever. Just let me know your username on there so I can get you added to the private room that I'll be making for this game.
I went ahead and created the Roll20 game where I'll be handling tactical maps, so when you have an opportunity join there. Once again let me know your username so I can assign you access to control your token.
I assume the timeline you are talking about starts the day of the us receiving the harrow cards.
What date do you want to set the first date as?
I don't think we ever stated a calendar date in game. We just worked off of Tomorrow and Today most of the time.
Ya I forgot about Aticus owing the favor for the lockpicks...
And the page numbers are a really good idea.
But I think your days are off. The Harrow meeting happened at sunset and the research of Lamm's place happened after that, so I THINK that it happens the next day (day 2)
Just dropping a note to say I'm making progress and there should be no issues with us starting by the 24th, though I'm hoping maybe we can get going closer to the end of this week. Greatly appreciate the summary that you put together!
Alright, about ready to jump in. Few questions for you all so we can resolve this current combat.
1) Who all has light sources? You are in a dark alley. I know I had seen some ioun torches, but don't recall who had them.
2) Other than Mirela with her silver arrows and Devan with his rapier does anyone have any other weapons made with special materials and if so, what? It didn't look like it but just wanted to confirm.
3) I've got the map setup in Roll20 but I still need the rest of you to join in. Use this LINK to join and let me know your username once you've joined so I can assign you to your token.
4) Finally, I am going off what you have in your status line above as far as your HP and AC. If that is not correct, please make sure to update it and let me know.
I'll go ahead and get a post up so we can start moving but will need the above ASAP.
Honestly I didn't realize it was that dark in the alley.
1)Devan and Mirela both have ioun torches and Mirela at least would have set it going if it was hard to see.
Note: Although I just noticed that cost of that was never marked off from me in the loot tracking sheet (even though we used it under the water) so I added my cost in as well.
Twilight has Low-Light, so I think she should be good.
2) Mirela has the above mentioned silver arrows and a mithral Dagger
She also has some cold iron arrows on order, but doesn't have those yet.
Yup, have to get everyone in so the vision stuff is right before I move the tokens over to the map.
As far as the alley, yup it is dark enough you need light. By my estimate it is late afternoon with the sun setting as finally got a cart and started work in the alley. Even with that aside the buildings block out the light.
Will bot Atticus a bit later if he hasn't posted by the time I get back to a PC. However, I was looking over the attack/damage roll and want to make sure I get it right. In the future if you can all break out your bonuses/penalties on attack and damage instead of just rolling them all together it really helps me understand the rolls.
So I see his base attack should be +1, then +2 from Str, +1 from the weapon, and then +2 from bane should only be a +6, then -1 from PA should be a +5 right? Not a +11 unless I am missing something?
Then on the damage it should be a +2 from Str, +1 from weapon, then +3 for PA, and +2 from bane (just looking at the flat damage not the extra 2d6 which I know is from the bane), so should only be a +8 not a +9 right?
Any insight on where the extra +6 to attack and +1 to damage is coming from would be great.
His base attack as an investigator 4 is +3 to hit. Str 16 it looks like is +3 + 1 from weapon, +2 from bane +1 from inspire courage. By my count gives you a plus 10 to hit.
Damage Str x 1.5 For two handed is +4, weapon +1, bane +2, Inspire courage +1. So I come up with plus 8 damage.
Atticus does not have power attack so that can’t be in the calc.

As an investigator he gets 1/2 his level to hit and damage against his studied target. It only takes him a move action to study the target and it lasts for his Int+1 rounds.

Quick action study enemy, standard action imbue weapon with bane property.
You would know there are three ways to actually kill including prolonged direct exposure to sunlight, immersion in water, and a wooden stake to the heart with the addition of decapitation and anointing the head with holy water. Only staking them, just keeps them incapacitated. You could break off the tip of an arrow to use it as a stake.
Wanted to drop a note here since we've gotten our first loot. I don't generally track loot in games where I GM (since I usually do all the tracking for the games I play in) and instead let my players keep up with it how they want. I know before the GM was doing this for you, but I'm not even certain of his system. In any case, I would prefer if someone would volunteer to keep up with the loot and distribution. You can keep doing what was done before or if you want me to link some other page for a different setup let me know.
Question, are we allowed to recover arrows if we miss?
I know it was allowed in the CRB, but I heard someplace that there was Eratta that changes that.
If we can I would like to try to recover some of the two silver arrows that missed.
