Asvald, once inside the bathhouse you realize that the odor you detected outside of the small building is not, in fact, the fuming tub. It's the characteristic acrid smell of a babau demon.

Barsvald's nose wrinkles in disgust as he cocks his head.

"That's funny. Smells like demons in here for some reason."

One of the women purrs, "I wouldn't worry about it."

Asvald, DC 22 Will save to avoid not worrying about it.

"I dunno. It's pretty worrying", Barsvald rumbles.

Asvald, you recognize that she tried to use some sort of charm on you.

"Something's not right here. These two tried to put a charm on me", Barsvald explains to the party.

"The magical kind of charm!"

"Are you for certain?" Torque replies drawing his greataxe before turning to the women. "What kind of game are you playing?"

They both look shocked at the accusation, shrinking away from the suddenly-militant half-orc.

Eva narrows her eyes at the exchange, studying the bath attendants thoughtfully for a moment.

Botting Senja:[ooc] The witch conjures a rapidly whirling eddy of shadow that spreads to everyone in the party, speeding them up! [ooc]Casting haste.

The woman standing next to Eva activates a ring and sends a burst of force at the monk, who unconsciously dodges it. The other one smiles at Bearsvald, whispering honeyed words. DC 22 Will save or charmed, Asvald. Then an emaciated red humanoid rushes around from behind the building and stabs Senja with a longspear for 14 HP. Senja and Asvald recognize it as a babau demon, and realize that the acidic slime covering it can damage weapons and natural attacks that strike it.

Eva windmills at the woman with her sword, striking with incredible speed and hitting every time. However, the sword doesn't seem to do anywhere near as much damage as the monk would have expected, and the strange woman still stands.

Senja rises into the air, retreating from the babau demon. The woman that Eva attacked sidesteps and claws at the monk, who easily dodges both swipes. Torque is not so lucky, though, and the one on him claws him for 13 HP. The babau demon, its initial target out of reach, turns its attention to Asvald and stabs him twice with its longspear for 24 and 20 HP, respectively.
