As Torque squares up with the door, Senja conjures a small, shadowy horseshoe to hover over him, carefully keeping it the right direction so the good luck doesn't spill out.

Sorry, gang, had a crazy few days, wasn't keeping up.

Carbide - can Senja tell what spell is affecting Torque, in order to try to dispel it? If so, I'll make a Spellcraft check and a CL check to dispel. If that's not feasible or I fail the Spellcraft check, I'll use Misfortune on Torque, to make his attacks against us less effective.

Senja isn't sure what's going on with Torque, and attempts to study the half-orc a moment to determine what magic has caused him to attack poor Eva!

CL to Dispel: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

If those rolls don't fit this situation, then Torque needs to make a DC 21 Will save vs Misfortune.

Let me heal you before we track down this evil villain." Torque casts a spell to heal the schoolteacher completely oblivious of his previous actions.

Well, I'm glad my attempt to make Torque less dangerous to Eva didn't result in him remaining under malign control! The hex will last 2 rounds - unless Senja can't keep from cackling for the hell of it, of course.

Eva studies Torque with narrowed eyes, wondering whether this is some trick by whatever the thing is that's gotten into his head. She recoils slightly when he offers healing, but allows him to tend the wound, though she grips her sword-hilt tightly as if expecting to need to use it.

With a nod of acknowledgment, the tall teacher studies the group's surroundings carefully for a moment before moving slowly into the fog. Move action to Percept all the things, then move into the room a few feet — probably staying adjacent to the rest of the group. (There's no map for this, right?)
