Okay, I am ready to move on, except for 2 things.
I need to know what your purchases are. And I need to know what Anklebiter is crafting, and the order he is doing it in.Specifically, what days are what being made.
Once I have those 2 things I can update the loot sheet and kick off the next encounter.

Almost makes me want to play some CoC, just so I could play a guy like Old Man Henderson. Almost... but not quite. :p

Just want to let everyone know that I am traveling next week for a MAJOR test/evaluation event for a software product my company develops. In the leadup to that, I am going to be really busy at work, and at home, prepping for the week-long trip. I may not be able to post reliably until after I am back.

I should really craft you a Wisdom-enhancer one of these downtimes. :( Sorry about the Shout.

I think Lefrik is at the point where he's pisssed at elven ingratitude, half wondering if these guys are drow in surface elf drag, and either way thinking they should be grateful that he's trying to do non lethal damage :)
He'll fight on unless one of his friends tells him not to!

And seeing as my only weapon with an even moderate success rate is magic, and I don't have access to Enchantment spells, what they're going to get from Lefrik is still better than what they'll be getting from me.
Also, Anklebiter has no way of knowing the pointy-eared bastards are using sleep-arrows, so he's freaking out a bit that you're all getting killed when he has Communal protection from arrows prepped and ready to cast. This has influenced my decision to go right over to lethal force...

Just wanted to share that my first Campaign Setting work for Paizo is finally out!
I contributed the write-up of the Formidably Maid for Inner Sea Taverns, which was released on Wednesday.

Okay. Should I cast Haste next round to buff Calla and Brue, let fly Magic missiles at the Elves, or start Summon monster V and bring in reinforcements in their very midst?
Preferences?

Honestly, my feeling is save the spells at this point. If we get out of here, we're going to have to figure out what to do and we may need that magic later. (But I also tend to hoard resources, so feel free to ignore me.)

Just a head's up that I'll be leavin' on a jet plane to go see my wife -- for I think the last time! (Hopefully last time I'll have to take a jet plane to see her, that is; I hope to see her again, more frequently starting in June).
I'll be gone -- and probably not posting at all March 10-20 -- plus sometimes need a day or two to recover from jet lag at the end of that. As you probably know by now, I also sometimes slow down in the preceding work as I set up all my arrangements/do all the chores I need to do for while I'm gone.

On another note, it looks like we're finally turning this fight around!

Brilliant move by Kelendra! :) If we can subdue this last guy quick, we can still save a few of these Winter Council yahoos for questioning!

Having had a look at the D&D 5e srd, I think I can safely say... blegh.
It's clear they tried to improve on 4e, but it still falls flat compared to 3.5 (to me, anyway), and that means it doesn't hold a candle to Pathfinder 1e.
I really hope Paizo doesn't look to 5e to inspire the upcoming second edition. I adore the lavish range of options of this system

            This feels like a nonsequiter?
I assume it may take some things from 5e, but also some from Starfinder. I'm still wanting to wait and see based on what the blog entries are.
I think they can certainly make feats easier (if only because there may be fewer of them, and not some that are sort of must-haves), but it sounds like skills could be more complex? I also think I'll really miss some of the classes, though I imagine they'll be added back in with later expansions of P2e.

From what I can tell, based on Paizo released info, plus a few other sources, it will be something like using starfinder as a stepping stone and landing somewhere between that and 5e, but in its own unique space. All of the base classes should be coming back, with options that make cookie cutter build less likely (not that I play many cookie cutter builds). I am greatly looking forward to it, not because I am tired of PF1.0, but because there are so many things that could be improved for both RL and PbP gameplay, and I am looking forward to seeing what the proffered solutions are.

I'd be really sad to lose Brawler and Magus... and I still want to play a sword-devil archetype Ranger sometime.

Hey guys, guess who turned 6 years old today?
That's right, you did! Happy anniversary!
Honestly, I am so humbled by the fact that you are engaged enough in my storytelling to stick through it for 4 books and 6 years of random absences, fumbles, and general tomfoolery. You have come a long way from the erstwhile employees of Saul Vancaskerin and the new owners of a dive bar cum gambling house.

I think the longest-running game I've ever been in was a home-brewed Ravenloft campaign, the Eye of Anubis. That one lasted over two years.
...
Have to say, it's still my benchmark for the greatest D&D-game I've ever been in. ^^;
This game of Second Darkness is at the top of my list of Pathfinder games I've been in, though.
