Folks. Our life here has been ssomewhat up ended One of our Housemate's elderly mother has been neglecting herself to the point where she has to move in. So we have been doing what we can to make the house elderly ready, make sure she's got a room set up, and prepare for the transition of having someone whose politics and beliefs are very different from our own now present.

So.. hence a slow down for me.

Alright, my proposed spell arsenal for the big day is below. Please have a look and tell me whether you think anything else could be better, guys?

4 - Extended communal protection from arrows, Secure shelter, Shout, Summon monster IV
3 - Dispel magic, Haste, Invisibility sphere x 3
2 - Fire sneeze x 2, Knock x 2, Mirror image, Protection from arrows
1 - Ear-piercing scream, Expeditious retreat, Grease, Magic missile x 2, Shield
0 - Dancing lights, Detect magic, Mage hand, Message

Justification:
5: Break enchantment - No telling what kind of traps we may need to spring, and Elves love magic. Shadow evocation - My most versatile 'evocation' right now; if we need a specific kind of evocation, I can at least fake it. Summon Monster V - More troops for us = good.
4: Extended communal protection from arrows - We're running from Elves. Need I say anymore? Secure Shelter - If all goes well, we'll be outside the city. A nice little cottage would be better to sleep in than the great outdoors. Not to mention, it's a nice, SECURE little cottage. Shout - An area spell that doesn't set the place on fire. People rarely ward against sonic. Sold! Summon monster IV - More troops for us = good.
3: Dispel Magic - See Break enchantment above. Haste - The ultimate combat support spell, and if we're running, we can use the speed-boost. Invisibility Sphere - As discussed; this is our ticket out of the gilded cage and Elftown at large. Multiple studied so we can keep going for a longer time, especially with the duration-extension provided by the rod.
2: Fire Sneeze - This spell has proven itself quite useful in combat, I like the possibility of knocking enemies prone... and I don't have Scorching Ray. *shrug* Knock - Essential for getting us out of the gilded cage, may be useful to get us out of Elftown proper. Therefore, multiple studied. I also have a scroll with this spell. Mirror Image - If it comes down to a fight, this is my go-to spell to prevent myself from being skewered early in the battle. Protection from Arrows - Again, we're dealing with Elves. In a pinch, if Communal protection from arrows is dispelled, I can use this to cover one of us, preferably a frontliner.
1: Ear-piercing scream - I like using sonic energy since so few people ward against it unless prompted, and the chance to daze an enemy can't be beat. Expeditious Retreat - Either to run or to help one of us achieve battlefield supremacy through enhanced speed. Grease - One of the golden spells of area control. Magic Missile - Another absolute must among battle-spells. Shield - To send my AC through the stratosphere. ;)

Feel free to check out my character sheet and look at the spells I have available. If you think another spell might be more useful, more necessary, than what I've set down here, please share your ideas and reasons with the group.
A Wizard's strength is his or her ability to customize daily spell selection for the challenges ahead. Let's use that strength! Optimally, we're going to sneak out of Elftown. In the worst case scenario, it'll turn into a running battle. Let's plan and prepare!

I've got 4 dispel magics per day that I can use, and Kel has 7. I'd say you can skip that one for something we don't have access to. I was going to suggest another haste, but Kel also has blessing of fervor (potentially 5/day) so I'd look for something else that we don't have: Charm monster? Summon monster III?

Only other thing I think I notice is you've got protection from arrows twice, but I'm guessing the 2nd-level one is also abjurer slot? Maybe trade it for extended shield and grab another grease or magic missile?

It is in the 2nd bonus slot, yeah. I picked it up as a redundancy in case Communal protection from arrows got dispelled, but the idea of another Grease is pretty appealing. Or Ear-piercing scream.
In a pinch, I still have two wands of MM.

okay, I updated the loot sheet with your stated purchases and added your individual hauls to your cash out amounts in the Cash tab. I gave all the extra cash (16879) to Lefrik, since I never saw a definitive post on what if anything he was buying with his share. So, that means that right now, in addition to whatever your personal sheet says you are carrying in coinage, Lefrik has nearly 17000 gold (less purchases) and there is 5000 in the party kitty.

Please update your personal sheets accordingly, as I am not going to keep up with your individual loot. That is your job.
