Zadira Leveling:
--Get a Dungeon Ally. I haven't chosen yet, but I think it is funny that this archetype lets you pick a giant slug as your animal companion. They are size: Huge, but they can squeeze, so you can still take them most places. :) Not sure if I am doing it (there are lots of other weird and cool options), but I do find it hilarious.
--20 skill points: Not distributed yet.
--BAB+2, +1 to Fort, Ref, Will (Not added to profile yet)
--HP +12
--Spells per day +1 3rd level, 3 fourth level
--Spells known +1 zero level, +1 4th level
Anyway, that's just laying out what I need to do. I'll try to actually do it and pick everything tomorrow.

Hey guys... still cruising the Bahamas but on my way home...

I have a show tonight that will try and get some film of. already talked to the performer for permission to film.

Level 8 Holy Tactician Paladin:
Level 4 Battle Scion Skald:
Vuzi Ognok |
Vuzi gets a couple of fun spells.
Blessing of Fervor on her Oracle Side and Boneshaker on her Sorcerer side.
She also got a little smarter with gave her some extra skill points to put in the usual things.

So I'm not going to take this, because it's language dependent, but I got a kick out of this spell: Blistering Invective. It's an insult that literally burns. That's fun.
Oh also, I forgot to mention skill points, of which I get a whopping 3 (plus background).
And I misread the Paladin page, I get another 2nd level spell, not 1st.

Zadira Leveling Update
--Taking an Emperor Cobra for my dungeon ally:
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/animals/snake/snake-cobr a-emperor/
The slug was funnier, but the snake has a climb and swim speed as well, so can more easily come wherever we go (and isn't weak to salt). :)
--22 skill points: bluff (2), climb (2), diplomacy, perception, craft: mapmaking (2), disable device, handle animal (4), spellcraft, stealth, swim (4), knowledge arcana (3)
--Spells known +1 zero level, +1 4th level
Dimension Door
I also forgot my stat bumps for levels 8 and 4: Bumping up intelligence and charisma to even them out (which means a couple more skill points than I said the first time... included above).
Kayla - Black scorpion |
wait a sec, we get two stat bumps? I thought just 1 for level 8
Kayla - Black scorpion |
I did the stat bump for ninja 4 and ninja 8 but not for Slayer 4
Simon Blue-Eye |
I think I am about done.
Lots of stuff and fixed some number errors (obviously forgot to raise HP on Simon once) and worked hard to keep my base sheet free of buffs and better track them.
I also got Uncanny Dodge which states "cannot be caught flat-fooded", so I noted down a - in my defence header in place of a flat-fooded AC value.
@All: I found a funny 2nd level spell Shared training that lets me share one teamwork feat with 2 other people (number grows and starting with next level I will be able to share more than one at a time) for 10 min/lvl.
Together with Grelthe's shared feats, we are up to ALL_OF_THE_FEATS :-)
Grelthe |
@Simon: that is neat! It is more limited on how many people you can share it with, but you will be able to share more at one time than I can! ALL DA FEATS! lol
Forgot to share the rest of my level up:
+7hp= total of 61hp
Level 2 bard spells: Pugwampi's Grace & Versatile Weapon
Skill points: 3 into Knowl. Religion, 2 background skills into perform (oratory).

Hey Grelthe, if you ever wondered what weapon enchant to pick up, how about this one?
With Simon (and Kayla) generating lots of AoOs via Outflank, you getting a second swing (@-5) should be well worth a +1 enchantment, right?
Grelthe |

Hmm, that is worth keeping in mind, thanks. For now, I am really enjoying the keen sword though - it is triggering Outflank alot too.

So, we are basically down to four players right now, aren't we?
I see Zadira, Grelthe, Vuzi and myself being kinda active.
(and of course our most hideous noble GM)
Kayla is MIA for a month now (let's hope her dentist did not do something horrible to her *ouch) and Cain for ... oh my, four months now.

Anyone having feelings about recruiting one new player?
Maybe that will bring us back to speed?
Vuzi Ognok |
I don't mind recruiting another player. What do you all think?
Grelthe |
I'm open to the idea. It's mostly more work for the GM, so I'd say it's up to them?
Zadira |
Sounds good to me.
Grelthe |
I have never actually used scent in a game before, so I did a little research <3
Per-maybe-haps useful to certain players?
Paizo forum on defeating scent

ha ha... that's a funny thread. stop showering is a good idea.
I tried the dirt thing because I was trying to help the group overall, not just me personally, or I probably would have tried prestidigitation... but if it doesn't work, you know, there is a lot more gold we could get... and dungeon spirit guy can't get mad if THEY attack US, right?
Vuzi Ognok |
I'll be away from good computer access July 12 through 22. It's time for summer holidays. Feel free to bot me. I'm sorry I'm going to miss the live troll and undead troll shenanigans that are about to ensue.

GM Choon |
Note that Harkon and the Chelaxian lady, (who you two can fill in the blanks on) have a strained relationship as they both, in whole or in part, disregard the original party's warnings for different reasons. The Chelaxian because she saw them as competitors. Harkin because, well, he's HARKON, and more than a little prideful/ overconfident. Not that his confidence isn't somewhat earned. It is. But he's very out of his element and might only now realize it.

Harkon Dross |
Testing Harkon stat line. Also, have come up with more for my background and would like to release it in bits as part of game play (summary sent to DM when complete).
Harkon Dross |
Updated the final item missed from my conversion, traded out weapon focus for combat reflexes. Originally ended up with weapon focus just cause I was sleep deprived and could not remember what else there was.
Simon Blue-Eye |
Hello newcomers!
I hope we will have a heck of a time 'down the well'.
@Jester: Ouch, when you start novaing, whoever's on the receiving end will remember those 'words' for a while indeed!
I really enjoyed your memories. Both the grave stones (did you play the Divinity series by any chance?^^) and the awakening of Poppet was amazing and made me laugh.
“The Jester” |

Thanks, I think it will be fun!!
No, I never played the Divinity series. I got the idea for the grave stones from the old (1998) video game Baldur’s Gate. There is a graveyard in one of the towns with these humorous inscriptions.
Harkon Dross |
So, I like to make many references to movie quotes and such. I keep referring to Max the filth monster as Chet cause it is from an older movie called Weird Science. Chet was a bully older brother that got turned into a literal pile of crap cause his name sounded like sh!t and they thought it would be a good gag. It was my initial image before I read his name...
Grelthe |
I doubt you had this in mind as an influence, but your poppet reminds me of this character from a playstation 1 game - Pandemonium. Everytime Poppet talks, I hear the character Sid who is... basically a head on a stick. LOL
Harkon Dross |
Harkon's origin story:
Harkon was distraught with the news made worse when given the choice of continuing his studies at the college or returning to the homestead for whatever it was he would do there. He did not even blink, only turned his back and walked away. His homecoming was no better than the news itself. The home was destroyed by fire and all possessions with it. Nothing survived. Worse still, the bodies of his parents had disappeared with no known cause as to why or how.
This is when the priesthood of Gorum, one of the local clergies, approached Harkon with a proposition. They could petition their god for news of his missing parents, but it would require a year and a day's worth of service to the church if they did so. Harkon agreed without hesitation and the ceremony was conducted the next day. The communion was less than insightful, except for a potential location of the bodies.
A member of the Paladin order was tasked with the investigation given the mysterious events surrounding the attack and the disappearance. The Paladin took one look at Harkon and invited him to serve his duty as his squire. Harkon accepted without fanfare. He toiled daily as the knight required of him and the knight in turn taught him many secrets of the martial arts. Harkon was finally waking to his true calling. He excelled enough at the studies that when the location was reached and searched, he was invited to follow instead of watching the horses.
The search was arduous, but neither member of the team felt it unnecessary as the answers to the questions needed to be found and found they were. Initially, the onslaught began with ghouls and ghoul hounds, but then it progressed to steadily more dangerous foes. Shadows, Wights, and vampire spawn. It was in one of these attacks the answers they sought were revealed for in the opponents they faced included Harkons parents bound as spawn to an as yet unseen vampire master. After the carnage was over, the knight imparted the knowledge to Karkon of what is needed to destroy a vampire: sunlight, running water could do it, but cutting off the head and stuffing it with holy wafers was easier. A stake to the heart was not a permanent solution unless the vampire was incapacitated long enough to bring the water, wafers or sunlight to bear.
First they had to locate the vile beast. Harkon supported the knight in all his endeavors and this time used some of his minor magics, such as a sending spell learned from school to contact the priesthood for guidance. Another request of Gorum provided a definitive answer and off the pair went to finish the job.
The fight was quick and violent and the knight required his squire to stand aside and report if he lost so a second expedition could be sent. Harkon followed his orders until an opportunity presented itself with the distraction of the beast. Seeing that his mentor was losing the battle, he used yet another magical trick to step behind the vampire and thrust a stake through its heart allowing his knight to remove its head. They performed the required ceremony to permanently dispatch the creature and the threat to the region was eliminated. The knight's report on Harkon's actions earned him his place in the order as a knight esquire. A few years later, his latest assignment brought him to a small town near the coast where he met a Chelaxian woman of whom he decided to court. She was amused enough to bring him into her bed, but once the initial coupling was completed, she held him at arms length and used her charms to convince him he was needed as part of her new party of adventurers.
Having made the commitment and lacking any better companions, he acquiesced. At least the mission of both himself and his new party was in line, the exploration and "plundering/decimation" of the Dungeon of Graves.
The rest is part of the current story...
