I'd suggest contacting the health authorities in your area for testing but I know availability varies a lot depending on your country. Even if the other symptoms aren't related it could be co morbid, you might have had some other underlying infection that wasn't affecting you until your immune system took a hit from something else.
Be careful, take care of yourself and be mindful of those around you. Self isolate as best as possible. I hope you feel better soon.

Hello again guys, first of all an update on the health front - got tested for COVID-19 and the results were negative. So that is done. Am also feeling better after a few days of fever. So all good on that end also.
----------
I do have some bad news from my end also - I had some time to mull over my games while laying down on my back for much longer than I would like during these past few days, and have decided to break away from this one.
I feel like I do not have the time/energy to invest as much as I would like, and definitely not as much as the game deserves. Also I must admit I feel the characters are somewhat detached from each other, maybe due to the nature of the dungeon crawl, or just the way we RP. Dunno...
I think my lack of system mastery means I need to invest much more time than usual when deciding my actions, leveling up, finding new gear, upgrading the ship, etc. It frustrates me, and I tend to leave it to last place whenever checking my games, and it should not be like that - it is stupid because I wanted to learn Starfinder, but I have not been able to overcome that shortcoming.
I want to thank GM Kevin O'Rourke for the invitation to join the game, and apologize to him and you guys for dropping out. Hope to see you around the boards. Take care.

No problem. Unfortunately I have noticed with games people are less familiar with things tend to go more slowly and unfortunately we've had a few people leave the game at different points so the party cohesion has suffered.
Learning a new system by play by post seems tough at the best of times. I'm hoping we can get to the end of this adventure since we are in the final book. I had some vague ideas about doing another adventure afterwards but unless things change a bit that looks unlikely.

Really sorry to see you go. You’ve been great! And glad you don’t have covid.
For me I’ve slowed down because I’m trying to buy a house. Which is time consuming enough, but I’m also trying to get military records for a VA home loan. Which due to covid is...hard. This morning spent 2 hours making phone calls and think that I have a solution, which “only” required talking to my 1SGT twice and the VA. In short, my free time got shot to hell.

Thank you for playing with us, AXL.
My apologies for being scarce, too. I agree that the Starfinder system is a bit daunting to learn (especially the starship mechanics), which has been nagging at me. However, hearing that we're so close to the end is reinvigorating for my motivation.

Stats are made! My idea for my character's background is that he was an Azlanti operative, part of some sort of psychic task force working for the highest bidder. Their last job was a setup, causing most of the squad being butchered and the few survivors thrown in prison. Only Aygavan (my character) escaped, ending up on Outpost Zed.
He's incredibly bitter at the empire for betraying him and his compatriots, and as such just wants to see the empire knocked down a peg.

A message for all my games:
My apartment's internet connection went out two days ago, and it will not be fixed until Sunday at the earliest.
(I am borrowing a friend's WIFI to post this).
I will resume posting updates once my connection is repaired, but in the meantime, I will be out of contact.
My apologies for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.

I've been kind of avoiding this for a while, I knew about a week or so back I really should get around to it but kept finding excuses to push it off one more day. For the last half a year or so I've just been floundering and then playing catch up every month or so. I hate abandoning groups but continuing as is isn't fair on people either. I'm going to be dropping out of all of the games I'm playing in and most I am GMing except two which are near the end.
The last year has thrown me out of routine with the games, the pandemic is bad enough but there's some personal stuff that looks like it's coming up that'll be making things more awkward. I've enjoyed GMing and playing but it's just not something I can do right now.
I'm going to try to wrap up Fall of Plaguestone and Rise of the Runelords.
