I'm not 100% sure but they did pick up a cool rifle.

Just dug through the posts, and here are our rewards from the four missions. We will need GM Kevin to clarify if the Credits on two of the missions were each or in total.

I'm really only interested in sniper rifles, so someone else can take that. Since Tros is our melee duder, he should take those grenades.


The ring is magical, and that is what interests Elthaeron the most. Mind if he nabs it?

Also with my 1100 credits I’m going to buy a Clear spindle (no need to eat or drink) and Iridescent spindle (no need to breathe) aeon stone.

After his brush with impropriety with the scones, Elthaeron needs something to help him.

Brass mechanical tax, you guys are getting a Tier 1 ship, you can build it from scratch mechanics wise if so inclined or look through the ones in chapter nine of the rulebook to use an existing one if building one doesn't appeal to anyone.

I am fine with Elthaeron getting the Ring if no one else wants it. I figure I will take the datajack, being the resident techie. Also, I have created a Google Docs spreadsheet to track division of wealth as we progress, shared below.

For upgrades, I will sell my Second Skin armor (25 creds), and replace it with Freebooter I armor (750 creds). I will also purchase 4 syrum of healing (200 creds). This leaves me with 175 creds to add to my current wealth.

Though I am debating the clear ioun stone. No NEED to eat, though I am sure that you still can...

Starship Builder Tool

I am somewhat familiar with the starship creation rules. I'm fine with taking point on building it.

Couple of quick broad questions for the group to help flesh out our basic starship plans (we'll need to eventually come to a consensus on this, but to start with let's just get everyone's opinion):

Do we want our ship to be fast, or tough?

Do we want more energy or physical weapons?

Do we want/need any specific labs (biological, cybernetic, magic)?

Is there anything specific that we *HAVE* to have on the ship?

A medical lab would be mighty helpful for patching people up along the way.

I would think a mix of energy and physical weapons would be good. At this level, I doubt we can have both speed and resilience, so let's say tough.

Is complement a minimum or maximum crew number?

That's for the generic five crew positions set up in the tool. The vessel has a minimum crew of 1, a Max crew of 6. So I am assuming, unless we convert one of the expansion bays to accommodate more people, that the ship is outfitted initially for 6 people. I threw in the tetranode computer because it gives a +1 to four attempts every round and there are four PCs, so figured it made sense.

Next two upgrades I think would be escape pods and some more guns, followed by a medical bay.


Cool, I'll start moving things along again shortly.

Now the Tier of the ship increases to be the same as your level so imagine you've got the ship up and running but not all the non essential systems are up and running yet! That and crazy jury rigged systems Baedjrak comes up with.

Elthaeron mutters “Harivente.” When touring the ship. Which, according to my amateur Tolkien elvish, translates to “The marred ship.” An elegant way of saying that it is a bucket of rust.

I think its great. Baedjrak would be impressed by a unique, esoteric, and elegant elven name... and not speaking elven, would have no idea about the named itself. And by the time he (eventually) learns it, would take it to mean marred as akin to scarred, given that the ship is reborn from a previous vessel.

Apologies for the delay. Needed to get home and crack open my hardcover starfinder core rulebook to go over ship combat again.

Also, the one big upgrade in our ship is the tetramode computer, which allows four actions each round to gain a +1 on their d20 roll. I did this so we would each get a +1 on an action every round, so don't forget the bonus. @Elthaeron, in addition, our ship gives a +2 to Pilot checks, so overall you have a +3 to your roll (giving you a 19 total).


There's often a few more gunnery positions than player numbers can cover or other posts like science officer. If you recruit an NPC they can likely be- well not as good as a PC but better than nothing!


With the lack of shields and much weaker weapon these drones are finding it tough against ye. Super fast and manouverable. If ye didn't have a turret the fight would be much more difficult, possibly lethal!

Once Baedjrak gets his engineering roll in we can get to the gunnery phase.

@Arika you can help in each phase so you can roll in the to help Baedjrak, Trosvod and Elthaeron every turn if you like since they are all acting in different phases.

Apologies about not posting sooner, but I have been down internet wise for roughly a week, and will not have internet back up yet for a week or so.

A month is a bit much with no word.


I am posting this to all of my games, so apologies if you see this multiple times:

Unfortunately, I have some bad news.

A combination of work-related stuff has lead to me having to take some time off from the forums. I am, in all honesty, going to need to be gone for several months, as I am going to be travelling for extended periods of time (weeks or more) and I'll likely not have good access to the internet.

As I am not someone who would want to have you all sit and wait for me here, I am going to be withdrawing/closing all of my open forum games.

I want to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure to game with over the last couple of years here, as I have immensely enjoyed my time on the forums, and hopefully, once my work stabilizes, I will be able to rejoin the community.

Thank you again for your time and energy, and I am sorry that I won't be able to keep things moving forward in any of the games that I am running.
