For those who havent' gotten them all already, you can get your library for about $18 via the humble bundle.
Also : Targeting March to return to normal posting (I hope). Sorry for all the delays.

Cityspeaker Redshift |

Delays are acceptable if they keep you sane. That's the important part.

mdt |

Ok, we're officially back up and running. However, I'm not going to be able to commit to daily posts like I used to do. I'm going to be conservative and shoot for two posts a week for now.
I would like to thank you all for having patience with me the last six months as things have shaken out. My life is settling down again, and things are kind of getting back to normal. Between losing my job, getting a new one, my mother being nearly killed, and my father's health, the last year has been kind of a nightmare.
Again, apologies for how things have been, and I hope you will bear with me as I try to get back on track again.

Cityspeaker Redshift |

I'm glad things are improving (even a little) for you.
Good to see you back.

Cityspeaker Redshift |

Hey, if folks are interested, by new cyberpunk techno-thriller is now available on Amazon (and will soon be available on Drive Thru RPG for the Non-Amazon types):

mdt |

Sorry for the delay, I kept hoping some of the others would respond.
We're down to two players, and I really don't want to recruit again.
Do you two want to continue with just two? Or should I just call it on this one?

Cityspeaker Redshift |

Give me a bit to think about it.
I have places I want to take Redshift, but I don't want to force you to run a game for just two people.

Skitter the Autobot |

rats. I was hoping the others would come back too. the biggest problem is that we're lacking in firepower. will we even be feasible?

mdt |

You'd be hard-pressed to go up against any of the big bots, you could be very feasible in scouting type stuff. I'd just have to adjust the game to be more of a 'in disguise' than 'robots' type game.

Cityspeaker Redshift |

I've been thinking since I asked for more time, and honestly it feels to me like we maybe should let this one go. With all the life-stuff that's been hitting MDT lately, and with only two players left, shifting gears and transforming (no pun intended) the entire direction of the game feels to me like it would be a bit too much to ask at this time.
I say this as a fellow GM who has had to make the hard calls in the past because of life events and dramatic upheavals in a gaming group.
That being said, I'm down for throwing my hat in to any other game you set up, boss. I do enjoy your stuff.
AND! If you decide you want to keep this going, I'm in as long as you can make it go forward. If you think you can do it, I'm behind you.

mdt |

It's more about if the players are up for it or not. I don't mind running it for two, but I'm also fine shutting it down if people don't want to play with just two players, it can be boring at times to not have other people to bounce RP off of.

Skitter the Autobot |

ok then, let's try it and see how it goes.

mdt |

Ok, if any of you know anyone who'd enjoy joining in, I'm fine adding new players, but only if they know the iffy situation with the GM. Give me a day or two to figure out how I want to change this around.

Cityspeaker Redshift |

I'm here. I was waiting for Skitter to reply to your OOC comment about his alt-modes.

Skitter the Autobot |

whoops, I was waiting for the GM to say more...

How you doin', boss?

GM has been putting in 70+ hours for the last 8 weeks (40+ at work, 25-30 per week doing home renovation). Last week I finally collapsed. Hopefully will be up again by the end of the week.

mdt |

Apologies everyone.
I need to bring you up to date.
So, as you all know, new job.
Project is in a very bad spot since mid June.
My project lead quit a few weeks ago, and I got to take over. The new guy, is now the project lead. (I'm the only non-contractor on the project, so I'm the lead).
I'm working 50-60 hour weeks, and get pulled into 30 minute meetings that take 3-6 hours.
Basically, I'm so overloaded that I can't think straight, and trying to post is almost impossible. Even for playing, much less as the GM.
I am sorry to do this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to shut my games down for now. The only question I have is, do you want me to pull the plug or just wait and see if things clear up in a month or two?

Cityspeaker Redshift |

As said elsewhere, I'm fine waiting to see if things clear up.

Understood. Honestly, I love the idea of this game, but I feel like it needs a few other folks to really work. If you wanna come back in a few months, maybe pull in a few more players, I'm totally up for it. Best of luck
