In one adventure there is a good outsider under planar binding from evil NPCs. After defeating but not killing it the PCs have realized that it is a good creature. The adventure gives one way to remove the binding, but currently they can't use it.
Planar binding has a duration of "Immediate", so it can't be dispelled.
Someone know any way to remove it?

I assume you mean it's bound to perform a service, not stuck in a magic circle?
Break enchantment can reverse even an instantaneous effect, but it has other limitations (spell type, spell level) that make me think it wouldn't work.
Protection from Evil might be an option in this case, though the language is a bit vague.
Second, the subject immediately receives another saving throw (if one was allowed to begin with) against any spells or effects that possess or exercise mental control over the creature (including enchantment [charm] effects and enchantment [compulsion] effects, such as charm person, command, and dominate person). This saving throw is made with a +2 morale bonus, using the same DC as the original effect. If successful, such effects are suppressed for the duration of this spell. The effects resume when the duration of this spell expires. While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target. This spell does not expel a controlling life force (such as a ghost or spellcaster using magic jar), but it does prevent them from controlling the target. This second effect only functions against spells and effects created by evil creatures or objects, subject to GM discretion.

Yes, bound to guard a passage for several days.
I had a similar situation in my home game. I didn't find anything built in to the game that would work. So I told them that it'd require some research and a ritual, made it a side quest the players could do if they wanted.
As the outsider is bound only for a few days, it is a bit impractical.
It is one of those situations where the bound creature is assumed to be a devil or a demon, so no one considered how to free it if you don't want to kill it.
In this situation, the players are mostly good and the outsider an angel bound by an evil NPC.

If the outsider has not agreed to a service all you need to do is to break the circle of protection and it is free. Smudge the circle and the outside can leave anytime they want.
If the outsider has agreed to a service then a Dismissal or Banishment can send them back to their own plane. The outsider can even voluntarily fail the saving throw. Dismissal does have a 20% chance to send the outsider to the wrong plane, but does not have to worry about that.

I was also going to suggest dismissal.
Even if the outsider can't voluntarily fail, it can probably do nothing to resist (besides the saving throw) if the PCs at least restrain it or something.
Once back on its own plane it can probably find someone else to help fully remove the conditions of planar binding that are beyond the PCs current ability to do so.
