About Azothath
pretty much just playing/GMming PF1.
I am always am civil in my postings. I try to be diplomatic but sometimes I'm a bit brusque. I keep a list of posters I do not respond to for various reasons to aid that effort. If I respond it is to the content or post, it is not about the poster.
I don't like to be a naysayer but the Rules Forum lends itself to that attitude. I just try to read the rules as written within context and dispense my advice within a central/common interpretation(close to RAW). Sometimes the debates get logical or very picky in an attempt to "prove" something. RAW is creative writing (work of art) so logic, technicalities, and rationalization only go so far. I try to use headers to separate my comments from the close to RAW chat. It seems a bit formal but I use that to avoid the negative posters/baiters/trolls.
The PFS rules provide a documented reviewed workable close to RAW simple Paizo sponsored campaign for PF1 that every GM should be familiar with. It is a great baseline to start from adding back in what you feel will work for your Home Game. All their RAW got approved by Paizo employees in that role (Campaign coordinator or advisor/designer). The documents are; The Guide, Additional Resources, and Campaign Clarifications. AoN does most of the work for you with their icons.
