You have to attempt a number of goals to reflect fighting off your affliction. Once you have succeeded at each, you gain extra benefits from overcoming the affliction. I don't think I actually got one, so I don't know specifics.

I've got the ghoul version, and it's interesting, so I'd be curious to see the wording on the lycanthropy version.

Don't have it in front of me, but the ghoul version gives you a penalty (in that case, it's -1 HP healed per die of healing). Then, you have certain tasks to overcome, one per adventure, to eventually overcome it. When you succeed, the initial penalty goes away, and you get some permanent bonuses.

It's not mechanically powerful or anything, but it could provide some fun RP plot hooks.

Fighting Off Corruption (Lycanthropy)
Golarion's history is rife with both loathsome evil and the heroic forces that keep villainy in check. Whether you suffer from an ancestral curse that is only now manifesting, a terrible affliction you acquired on an adventure, or a similar malady, your body and soul now struggle against corruption. You may apply this boon at the end of a scenario, at which point you immediately gain it penalty. Once per scenario, you cant attempt to fulfill one of the associated tasks in any order, though the final task must be performed last. Once you have completed all the associated tasks, you have cleansed yourself of the corruption, no longer suffering its penalty, and gain the listed benefit.
A PC may only benefit from one Fighting Off Corruption boon.

Lycanthropy: Your blood courses with bestial power and feral rage.
Penalty: You take a -2 penalty on Intelligence- and Charisma-based skill checks. Weapons that overcome DR/Silver deal 1d4 additional damage to you.
Task (1x): Convince a named druid, shaman, or witch NPC in an adventure to aid you in a purification ceremony. Earning this NPC's cooperation requires a successful DC 18 Diplomacy or Knowledge (Nature) check. You may let another PC attempt this check for you, but the DC increases to 23.
Task (1x): Defeat a lycanthrope or creature with the Shapechanger subtype whose CR is Higher then your character level.
Final Task (1x): Consume a tincture of Wolfsbane (costs 50gp), and succeed at two consecutive DC 15 Fortitude saves.

Completion Benefit: You may automatically succeed at any saving throw to resist contracting lycanthropy. Against creatures with DR/Silver or the shapechanger subtype, you gain a +1 sacred bonus to your Armor Class and a +1 sacred bonus to saving throws. You can cross this boon off your chronicle sheet to permanently change your Hunter's Bond from a companions bond to an animal companion, or you can change your nature bond from a domain to an animal companion.

GenCon 2016 Boon #14

XXX Spontaneous Mutation You have been exposed to unnatural substances that occasionally cause your body to develop bizarre transformations. Check one of the boxes preceding this boon to gain one of the mutations below for 3 rounds. Activating a mutation is a swift action.

Claw: Your fingers lengthen into claws. You can use these claws as natural weapons that deal 1d6 points of slashing damage (1d4 points if you are Small). If you already had claws, your claws deal damage as if you were one size category larger.

Enhanced Vision: Your eyes become much larger, bulging out of their sockets. You gain darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If you already had darkvision, the range of your darkvision doubles. You als gain a +4 circumstance bonus on perception checks that involve sight.

Projectile Spines: Spines sprout from your limbs, which you can launch at your foes. You can draw these spines as a free action and throw them much like darts that deal 1d6 damage (1d4 if you are Small) and have a range increment of 20 feet. These spines do not add your Strength modifier to damage rolls. A creature that hits you with a natural attack or unarmed strike takes damage as if you hit them with a spine.

Slick Carapace: A slippery and chitinous carapace grows over your body. You gain a +2 enchancement bonus to your natural armor and a +10 circumstance bonus to Escape Artist checks and to your CMD to escape being grappled, as if you were under the effects of the grease spell.

What does it do?

+1 Intimidate, +2 if damage delt to target last 30 seconds and DR 3 vs critical hits and it stacks
