If everyone who receives a questionable boon reports it to their local Venture-Officers, eventually the "evil doers" will be exposed and stopped.

We use colored paper for the boons at our local con Caydens Crawl. At Gen Con all the boons I get go towards boosting the rewards at our local CON and for rewards. I think to add on to security I will do that transfer # from me to whoever for all our boons. So far here we have had no PFS BOONs issues.

Also, can Venture Officers do that? That policy kills the ability of the GMs and players in their lodge to trade boons.

I think you can still trade them, it just takes a little extra paperwork (crossing out the old number with a "Traded to ######" bit). I could be wrong, though; I've never tried.

The lodge I've GM'd for hasn't done this (that I'm aware of) as they don't assign GM boons unless a table actually 'goes off', which would make putting numbers on boons problematic.

Is this a new organizational 'table variation'?

This has happened for all boons that have been issued Online and you can trade them. Simply write on the boon "Traded to [PFS#] on [Date]", and you're good to go.

I'm always open to other offers. I'm honestly mostly interested in the Aspis Defector. The reason I list the GenCon boon is its extensive list of races. I already traded for one to make a changeling psychic, but gripli and samsaran appeal to me as well. Also, who doesn't love a rebuild.
