If Cup could use Ill Omen again, I can try to use a Slumber Hex to knock the hydra asleep for 7 rounds (it's not immune to sleep, right Peppers?) So it would wake up at around Round 8-9 and then you can coup de grace it right before it awakens.
If I can't put it to sleep in Round 2, I can try again in Round 3.

What happened was we more or less were rolling to determine if his survivor/character died, and I jokingly called the worst possible dice result... and then he rolled, got that dice result, and was decapitated.
