*claps* Congratulations!

![]() |

Cool! Wonder what they'll be.
On the other note, another combat! Hopefully these aren't immune to magic missile so I can help with some damage. The spells are pretty drained at the moment.

![]() |

Yeah, this has been fairly non-stop since the auction. I'm just glad my mutagen is over an hour now. That's pretty much what I've got at this point to help buff me up without relying on you wonderful magic peoples!

This is the boon I got:
Hang in There: Your soul tenaciously clings to life in the most dire of circumstances. You may cross off this boon to allow yourself to be targeted with breath of life as long as you died within the last 3 rounds, rather than in the last round as typical for this spell. Alternatively, if two PCs at the table possess this boon, they may both cross off this boon to allow one of the PCs at the table to cast breath of life once as a standard action in the next 24 hours; this is a spell-like ability with a caster level equal to the casting PC's character level. This ability functions even if her character level is less than the normal minimum caster level to cast the spell.

D, there would have been no way for you to know that they had concealment prior to attacking them. In that case, I think it's perfectly reasonably for a GM to roll that die for you. No one passed that planes check and Cup was frightened last round and unable to roll it. I'm not sure what makes you think you would always miss. You roll a d100. If it's less than 50, you miss. Otherwise, you hit...

![]() |

Frank, you know i'm joking with you, right?
That's sometimes hard to convey over the board, without facial expressions.
:o

![]() |

bah Red text me before you make saves :p
thanks for the botting :)

Forums going down for maintenance! Will update when they're back.

What do we think about continuing the fight, folks? Gallix has a potion of cure serious and a few charges of his CLW wand left, but I’m sure our spellcasters are starting to run low on spell slots. Should we try maybe one more wave then tap out?

![]() |

Yes, i'm not looking forward to 12+.
I agree with Gallix, we can try one more, and hope it won't be lots of SM V. Them dimension door'ing ups the ante, with cloudkill to boot.

![]() |

I know Mr. Peppers is low on magic, and I don't have the free time I need to heal. We lucked out in that the party panicked for 1 round instead of 6. Also I don't know if we'll finish the next combat in the next few days.
When does this special end?
I'm ambivalent either way, but all of my big spells are gone. Hopefully everything from here on out can be put to sleep.

![]() |

I'm pretty spent other than a few level 1 slots and a level 2 slot, and 1 arcana point. If it isn't needed for us to get more successes I'd say call it good. At the most I suspect we could finish one more wave if it wasn't too deadly. Many people are at reduced hp and I know Sugi took a bunch of STR damage I believe.

![]() |

Im at 11 Str but I'l just enlarge myself for more str :)

![]() |

Peppers has a fair point. If more successes are not mandatory, we could call it even and be done with risking ourselves further.

![]() |

You guys sit back and relax, I think we are in good shape overall for this special...

The new site redesign wiped out my campaign history, so I had to post again in order to dot this thread. The other PCs may have similar trouble.
OMG the front page has an image carousel! Party like it's 2015!

We are in a holding pattern until the 5th, when we'll finish up and start Solstice Scar B. I will start on your chronicles tonight.
I should remind you that Parts 1 and 3 of Solstice Scar B are repeats from the last time you played it. Maybe your character dreamt or hallucinated going to the museum before, or maybe you're stuck in some weird time bubble like in Cosmic Captive. Perhaps the Pathfinder Society lacks proper organization and strategy and requires multiple visits to the same places to ensure the baddies are actually dead.. *cough*

![]() |

If only part 1 wasn't involved, then we could say "last year's" efforts weren't good enough.

![]() |

Hey guys, would you be so kind as to roll your Day Jobs?

![]() |

Hey GM, can I instead ask if any of my goals were achieved? I'll forgo the day job.
Recover blackmail or incriminating evidence against a named NPC ambassador, aristocrat, noble, or similar figure.
Lady Kradden, probably.
Dissuade an NPC from working with an organization that directly opposes the Pathfinder Society or the Sovereign Court’s goals during an adventure by presenting the NPC with evidence that doing so is contrary to her interests. This requires a successful Bluff, Intimidate, Knowledge (local), or Sense Motive check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level.
IN THIS POST I convinced Dymal Rinks to drop out of the auction with a DC 22 Diplomacy check.
Fulfill one of the three goals above without revealing your faction affiliation to anyone other than a present member of the faction or a prospective NPC recruit. Checking a box for this goal does not prevent you from checking a box for another goal.
I don't think I've told anyone I'm a member of the Court besides Uesugi.
Forgo your Downtime to reinforce your political connections. Doing so requires a successful Knowledge (local) or Knowledge (nobility) check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level.
K Nobility, DC 22: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 Nailed it!
Participate in an adventure that takes place in Taldor or that involves a prominent organization based in Taldor, such as the Lion Blades or the Ulfen Guard.
I don't think any of those organizations are involved but I'm also bad with locations.

Cup Perform Sing: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30 75 gold!
You should also know that the Concordance is calling Cup. If you have not made chronicle sheets yet... Cup is thinking of answering the call, even if she has to leave all her faction card checkoffs behind!
Hmm

![]() |

Sirettis, you can check off this goal if you've checked one of three goals above it:
Fulfill one of the three goals above without revealing your faction affiliation to anyone other than a present member of the faction or a prospective NPC recruit. Checking a box for this goal does not prevent you from checking a box for another goal.
Any other one on your list qualifies (if it's above that one - I haven't looked at the faction card) since you did convince Lady Kaddren and made the DC on the Forgoing your downtime. The only one I'm not seeing is the Taldor goal.
You can only check off a single goal per scenario unless it specifically states otherwise (like the one I quoted).

![]() |

Then I'll check off Lady Kaddren and doing it without revealing my affiliation.
So I guess I didn't forgo my job roll, then.
Perform(Wind): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

![]() |

Hrm, this is the first time we've been to Magnimar as a group isn't it? Wondering for this:
*Adventure in a nation other than Absalom. You may only receive credit for visiting a particular nation once. Checking one of this goal’s boxes does not prevent you from checking one box for a different goal.
Also, this is my last thing to complete so figured I'd see if that weird shadow stuff at the end happened to fit....
*Resolve an encounter with an organization led by genies, elemental forces, or those who revere them.
Mr Peppers has no day job.

![]() |

That first one looks good to me Peppers to check off, the second one not quite.
Still need the samurai's day job... Who's the slacker now, Uesugi?!
The rest of you can get your chronicles here!
How about that sweet first boon?

Red, Cup was actually in tier. She’s level 8! I am waiting to hear if I can switch to Concordance yet...
Hmm

![]() |

What's that? You wish you could copy/paste these chronicle sheets? Me too!
Magnimarian Debt
The many wealthy and influential attendees of the auction for the Runecarved Key, among them some who actively big against the Pathfinder Society for the ancient relic, owe you a debt of gratitude for dealing with the assault on the Temple of Abadar. In thanks for saving their lives from the rampaging cultists, the citizens of Magnimar can be called upon in the future to assist you when your life needs saving- or restoring. When you would pay for the casting of a raise dead, resurrection, or true resurrection, you may call upon this favor and reduce the price of the spellcasting service by half. This discount applies to spellcasting services paid for with either coins or Prestige Points. Once you have used this boon, cross it off the Chronicle sheet.
Formidable Renoun
Word of your defeat of the the cultists of Lissala and your tenacity in the face of the relentless onslaught of summoned outsiders has quickly spread through the ranks of the secretive cult. When facing a worshipper of Lissala, you gain a +2 bonus on Intimidate checks to demoralize them, and can make one such attempt per encounter as a move action instead of a standard action.

![]() |

Oh crap, I'm level 8. I gotta level myself up, fast. Uhhhh +1 Str, Power Attack, Profession (Basketweaver). Perfect!

![]() |

LOL! Sirettis with power attack?! Watch out baddies, there's a new sheriff in town, and she'll kick your ass with her HAIR!

![]() |

Grease is the word, perhaps.
I think it was a film we were shown in music class back in middle school.

Not sure if you want to put that stuff on my chronicle from what we just finished?

You have been passed an Aid Token ***Token #2***
Current Boosts: None
Please try to use within 48 hours and pass it in the GM Recruitment Thread.

![]() |

Shall I boost it with bardic performance or boost it with Knowledge Planes?

![]() |

Go for Provide Knowledge.

![]() |

Yeah, let's go with knowledge! Cup always has just the right book on hand, right?
