Good luck on your test man. Been a while since I've had to take a test. Give me a test vs a paper any day though.

As far as spending gold, Mr Peppers has you beat, he spent 12k I believe to upgrade his plus 2 INT headband to plus 4! I may have said that already, its too damn exciting not to. Casters with their single important stat is just too huge when you can upgrade it. I also got another point of base INT from lvl 8, but that didn't change anything... at least not until level 12.

They tried to balance out Arcanists needing two stats to a degree to help with the stacking INT, but CHA has only weak need with certain exploits. I will be adding CHA to that headband eventually, but certainly not until its plus 6 INT first.

Are we/RED planning on taking this crew to the top of the mountain or is this ride going to end around lvl 12? I know I haven't played any of the top end material that can take us over the seeker level.

I never really thought about it that far ahead Peppers, but I also don't have any intention of stopping. This is easily one of my favorite campaigns! One thing I'd like to do is get another module in before Level 12. The Harrowing is an excellent one and meant for Level 9.

Hmm and Uesugi look to be busy for a few days, I'll still update the game but perhaps not advance TOO far ahead. I think Uesugi is still finishing up purchases... Slacker. :P

I love both of those ideas! Gallix is the first character I've taken this far in any game I've played, and I'd love to take him all the way to the top (assuming he doesn't die from one of the poisons Red throws at him). I also like the sound of doing another module. I really liked that format for some reason.

I feel the same that this is definitely one of my favorite campaigns ever! You all are the best!

This fight just isn't looking good. I think the terrain alone already impairs your mobility, and then I went and rolled a bunch of high dice/crits.
I don't think it's unreasonable to try and retreat or surrender should you want to go down that path. I'm regretting using this map overall, I feel it may have been a little unfair.

If we go down that route, it just means I'll subtract the gold/items from the chronicle in fairness (but at least you won't be dead!), or you'll have to have a rematch against them on the actual airship. Your choice!

I will start by flying.

Do you think using Obscuring Mist will help you melee types? I will probably use Ice Storm since they resist so many of my mind-affecting abilities.

Ya I'll need to redo my prepared spells. Damn lack of 3rd level prepared spells! Fireball should be prepared though this time. I may use mass prot lightning just in case on the group.

*Edit: Will cast Mass Prot Lightning, each person in the group gets 96 lightning damage prevention for 10mins, Mr Peppers gets it for 20mins.

I will also pick up 5 scrolls of see invis for 2PP if that is possible Frank.

Mr Peppers will have mage armor wand active, false life as per usual, and will spend a arcana point to swap out communal prot for dimensional door. Fly active as well. I can spare another fly if someone needs it.

Didn't mean to sound like a dick with that reply Gallix. Pathfinder rules are sometimes a little WTF? and I normally bend with interpretation unless it specifically says otherwise... and in this case, it did.

So guys - PbP Gameday VII was just announced by our friendly neighbourhood gnome. The two Specials are Solstice Scar C and a Starfinder special.

I've decided that I don't really want to run SSC. SSB was a lot of repetition, and ended up being more of a drag than anything. I got the sense that some of you didn't really like repeating things either, and I don't blame you!

I'll therefore be running the Starfinder special (if selected) and obvious first choice of players goes to anyone here who plays SFS.
