You loot the room and distribute the magic between yourselves...You head back to the mimic room then to the passage heading west out of it. It leads to another chamber. A black granite statue of a pharaoh stands on the polished alabaster floor in the center of this chamber beneath a vaulted limestone ceiling decorated with gilt stars. An engraved panel of granite stands against the western wall, carved to resemble a door. A flat granite slab lies on the floor in front of the false door.

There are two smaller rooms off the sanctuary. They appear to be shrines to the Ancient Osirian gods. The southern chapel (area A) contains a statue of a lean man with the head of an animal with a curved snout and erect squared ears. The northern chapel (area b) holds a statue of a strong, powerful man with a falcon’s head topped with a solar disk.

Jamir looks from the statutes, to the false door, to the obvious trap door, and then to Craggark.

"So, this is probably our last opportunity to just turn around and leave, my friend. What say you?"

Jamir stares at the others in surprise. "You do realize that I was ki... "

Then he bursts out laughing. "All right, my friends, you had me going there for a moment. Mythryndyr, Torvald, do you want to find the ancient, deadly traps that are certainly waiting for us in the least expected places?"

"I don't see why not. I mean after all we've been through, how bad could it be?" Lia says with a shrug.

"Every room, and even one very long hallway, has been fraught with danger. We should expect no less from this last chamber...Ohh what if it leads to a lower level...no we already found the Pharaoh so that's unlikely." she thinks aloud.

This will certainly be our doo...

She casts another spell, the last of its kind prepared today, to once again replenish her innate magic. Being low on her other daily magic options, she fingers her last alchemist's fire for comfort.

Craggark looks askance at the cleric. "Explore, Report, Cooperate, right? We've got to be thorough..."

Jamir bursts out laughing.

Craggark's head swivels as he tries to determine if Jawhar truly is joking or not.

Sense Motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1 Yup.

Craggark cracks a smile at the cleric's joke.

"You had me going, too! Hahahaha! A handsome joke!!!" Craggark laughs even harder at his attempt at a call-back joke. He pulls an alchemist's fire flask from his belt and stands at the ready as Torvald and Myth check for ancient traps.

Torvald finds the false door is actually concealing a secrete door to another chamber. The statues are unique and probable religious depictions of ancient Gods. Torvald also points out an inscription on the wall that seems like a prayer of sorts to Jawhar.. Analia cast detect magic determining that the writing is actually magical and may work like the magic from a scroll. Torvald also discovers a secrete panel inside the falcon headed statue. Analia determines something magical resides inside the compartment.

knowledge religion DC:20:
The falcon head statue is of the Ancient Osirion God Ra (God of Sun)...the other depicts Set (God of Darkness and secretes)

Jawhar's DC:18 spellcraft check or he has read magic prepared:
The inscription is a prayer to Ra that Removes curses

if you inspect the compartment:
you find a magic scroll...DC:17 spellcraft check or read magic to determine it's nature.

Your heroic group defeats the final challenges of the ancient tomb. A zombie like impostor of the pharaoh was easily over-come in the remaining chamber. It seems the poor creature may have been the remains of the original architect of the tomb...imprisoned and buried alive with his last creation. Sometime on the way back home it's revealed that Craggark's Periapt of Wound closure, is actually a cursed item...A Periapt of foul rotting...Luckily Jawhar was able to transcribe one use of the remove curse inscription off the tomb wall. Jawhar needs to make a caster check..to succeed..even if he succeeds (DC:10) Craggark will still need to pay for a remove disease spell after a successful remove curse is cast upon him. (The remove disease cost 150gp cast by a 5th level caster I believe and also needs a CL check) CL check for remove disease: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 If Jawhar doesn't suceed the CL check Craggark will need to spend an additional 150gp to have Remove curse cast again.. Remove curse CL check in case Jawhar fails: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

You tip the boys well and send them off to their families as free people. The Pathfinder society is very pleased with your discoveries and commends you all. New assignments are immediately offered to all of you...which direction will you take next?

”Are you even kidding me?” the irritated half-orc growls. ”We find hardly any treasure in this so-called pharaoh’s tomb, and the treasure that we do find is cursed??”

Craggark growls and curses the entire way back to Absalom, thankful only to the healer who takes his gold and restores his health.

”I wouldn’t bother with that bottle of fine wine that we found. It’s probably the receptacle for an undead spirit, or full of maggots.”

I’ll pay the 250gp for the spell from my chronicle rewards, please.
