OK just to clarify Myth runs up checks the door for traps runs back one rank Craggark is in the back rank with Analia or Jawhar? that leaves Torvald and Jamir up front when the door opens? Tell you what...I'll let you guys arrange your pawns..when everyone confirms they're in the Marching order they prefer we'll move forward.

![]() |

I organized the avatars on the map based on how I think we are positioned, with Myth and Torvald at the door checking for traps, followed by Craggark and Jamir a few feet behind(a sort of buffer space) and then the rest of us directly behind that. We are keeping our eyes down the left hallway in case there is something from that area. If anyone disagrees with their placement, go ahead and change it.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Marching order looks good to me.
Jamir waits, rapier in hand, for Myth and Torvald to open the door.
"Mythryndyr, Torvald, please be cautious and check this door carefully, my friends. We would not want Jawhar to be right too often about our being surprised by deadly traps and hazards, or he might get a swelled head!"
He turns to the cleric with a worried expression. "That is also one of the symptoms of the dread Mummy Rot, is it not?"
Following Lia's lead, Jamir also takes a quick look down the left hallway while they check over the door for traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Happy with the pawn placement
Jawhar lets out a chuckle at Jamir's quip, then waits nervously for the door to open.

Once satisfied that the door is safe, Torvald nods at Myth. "Alright, opening up so be ready..." he says softly as he reaches out to open the door.

Also You've already heard it's Piercing Howl (Su) When an ubashki leopard howls, all creatures except other undead within a 300-foot spread must succeed at a DC 13 Will save or become frightened for 1d4 rounds:

After conveying that information, Jawhar will touch Craggark with the Remove Fear.
"Sarenrae needs you, Warrior. Throw off your doubts and aid her cause."
When he sees that the spell has taken effect, he adds some guidance for everyone. "The skeleton is just a big nasty skeleton. The cat is the one we need to take out first. Its touch can cause disease, so make sure I check you out after the battle."

lucklesshero |

After the Leopard attacked Myth, Jawhar looked around to see several of his comrades succumbing, to the effects of the loathsome piercing howl. Analia turns to flee but Jawhar is able to call upon Sarenrae's power to reinvigorate Craggark's spirit to not flee the battle. Myth looses a couple of blunt arrows, one of which hits the undead cat. Jamir as previously mentioned, runs up under the undead leopard. And cuts a nasty slice in it's belly.
