That's... extremely unfortunate.

Yeah, I've bumped my "APG is stuck in my sidecart" thread for weeks and haven't received anything from anyone. I sympathize, but it's also painful when you're a subscriber yet things aren't actually shipping.
Is bumping resetting the date they see and keeping you in the back of the queue? My strategy has been not to bump for fear of just this possibility.

Your strategy is best.

If you think you’ve been skipped, best thing to do is to post a new thread with a link to the old one. Then, if they sort your original issue, reply to the second one saying that it can be ignored.

Is there any way to change the shipping address for the physical copy of the Pathfinder 2e Core Rulebook ordered via the Humble Bundle? I ordered it through the humble bundle and the wrong address is listed for shipping. I called the customer service phone number which I learned is down, then sent an email, but haven't gotten a response yet.

Creating your own forum post here explaining the issue and then leaving it alone because every response will bump it to the back of the list.

Also sending in an email to support explaining the issue.

The support teams are working from home and they haven't found a way to man the phone support remotely, so email and forum posts are the only support avenues right now. Good luck, if you 'just' submitted the order you are both lucky and unlucky in the sense that they ran out of product and won't be shipping it until the next printing is delivered to them, giving them enough time to respond to your requests hopefully... And at the same time.... you probably won't get it for a few months either way.

If you submitted it at the beginning of the humble bundle may the odds be in your favor... Good luck and Desna speed

Have we hit the "something is actually wrong if you haven't gotten a shipping notice or charge on your payment method" stage yet?

I would say no. My order was just completed late yesterday

Hi,

New to subscriptions at Paizo and I didn't want to clog customer service even more with a silly question.

I just subscribed to the Lost Omens and Rulebook product lines and noticed that while the APG was added to My Downloads the Lost Omens: Legends wasn't. Both products appear on my Sidecart and I haven't received any e-mail. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance,
Yawar

The problem persist, card hasn't been charged, haven't received any e-mail, still don't have access to Lost Omens Legends PDF. I've already placed a support request on the forums.

Should I panic? =P

Thanks in advance,
Yawar

PSD: thanks to TriOmegaZero and Yoshua for the feedback.

I wouldn't think so. I know for a fact you're not the only one still waiting :)

Usually (though not always) they post here when they think they're done with the shipping - so if that happens then I would say yes, post a new thread about it.

We've been ramping up fulfillment on these over this week and we've shipped out roughly 2500 of the 9500 or so that are in stock. We anticipate that we should be able to ship the remainder out by next Friday so those of you that redeemed your codes early, should be in this batch. Please note that our CS department is super backed up so please give us the week to ship before inquiring about whether you're in this batch or not.

The remainder of the outstanding books will be fulfilled once the reprint arrives in November.

I bought 2 APGs and got 2 minis. In another thread that I haven't re-located yet, somebody else mentioned buying 3 APGs and also getting 2 minis.

It is very sad that Paizo was unable to meet the demands of its customers.

I think of it differently - there was such an unexpected demand they have to print more books to meet the demand!

Sounds like a good problem to have :)

How can you see people trying the best they can to meet increased demand during a global pandemic and shipping issues heaped on top, and try to add guilt to the mix? Shipping is typically a little bonkers around GenCon, and this is the Year of Extenuating Circumstances.

I'm constantly refreshing the page to look for more info about The Devastation Ark AP because I'm excited. I'm hoping a trailer drops soon. But there is no call to spread negativity. Don't pout, live in the hype.

It was to be expected. They were bound to run into unforeseen predicaments when they go went into an ever increasing 2 week lockdown.

Humbly,
Yawar

They might be doing the best they can but if you look at the mess that CS is right now, almost 2000 emails behind from months go, well, there is that.

We're all aware. But I ask you honestly, what does posting here complaining about it accomplish?

Paizo CS are way outside their SLA right now, and they very much know it. They know their customers aren't enjoying a notably slow customer service experience--that's not how they want to run it at all. And they are, last I checked, working hard to correct it. So what exactly do pithy and biting comments among their fandom accomplish? It just makes everybody, from employees to us customers, a bit more exhausted and frustrated with the process.

I suggest just rolling with it a bit more. Unless you've got needs that are actively and intentionally not being met by Paizo, I'm not sure we all need a frequent stirring of general dissatisfaction here.

But you are welcome to do as you like. Not trying to shut you up.

Illegal and/or unethical options aren't viable options.

So again: how many people should get COVID-19 just so you get your books when you want them?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I was not aware thar setting up phones was unethical or illegal.

Seems like the rest of the world can adapt. If a business cannot adapt it dies.

Silver Crusade

Not being able to abide acceptable distancing measures due to more people in the warehouse immediately comes to mind.

Is that a law?

Silver Crusade

You missed the "unethical" part.

And that's without getting into that it might be a law as well.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

And if you want to talk ethics, how ethical is it to double charge people and these people have to wait weeks for things to be fixed?

Silver Crusade

Accidently being charged wrong and having workers work under unsafe conditions are two completely different things, not even in the vicinity.

Also CS and the Warehouse are two completely different groups.

So you *know* there are things Paizo could be doing to expedite shipping and are just choosing not to...cause reasons...but you don't know the local laws, ordinances, governor's proclamations etc that may be at play?

What *are* those things Paizo could be doing? While complying with https://coronavirus.wa.gov/what-you-need-know/safe-start

ETA: Yes, other business are adapting, but it's hardly nothing like "business as usual" for most out there. Especially when an inconvenient pandemic happening at the same time as a higher-than-normal volume orders. Longer processing and shipping times are the norm, not unusual now.

What good would that do? They could spend all day answering phone calls instead of working emails? For the same issues they already can’t resolve, apparently?

Something called a division of labor.

Grand Lodge

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

What division still needs to be done? CS and the warehouse are already separate teams.

I gave you a link. But since you can be bothered: RCW 43.06.220

And how does people answer phone calls get things shipped faster?

I don't know what the laws and ordinances for Seattle/Redmond are.

I'm more concerned with the Warehoure Raptors not catching the plague.
