Is there an option for shipping that would allow you to use the cheapest mailing method available without using UPS Mail Innovations?
In my experience UPS Mail Innovations makes packages much harder to track and add a week to 2 weeks of delivery time.

I was wondering, I got my shipping notification, it says it shipped, I have a tracking number. However the tracking number doesn't seem to be linked to anything and the email says it will ship by the 2nd.
Did it ship? Or did it not ship? That is my question.
The "it shipped " email means that they boxed your items up and put a shipping label sticker to it. it won't get picked up until the next day usually.

^ What Cpt_kirstov said. The shipment email means they've printed your shipping label. It generally takes at least 24 hours for the tracking number to show any activity.
And, as Dragnmoon says, if your package is coming UPS Mail Innovations, the tracking won't kick in for quite a while. I also hate Mail Innovations, Dragnmoon, but if it makes you feel any better, the next cheapest shipping method was literally three times the cost in my case, so I decided to just suck it up and accept that I won't hear anything about the package for a couple of weeks.

Hello folks,
We are about to push go on the GenCon pickup orders. So you should start seeing your confirmation, and shipping emails showing up soon. This will fulfill the orders as well as generate them, so you will see the charge go through right away. Keep in mind that the PDFs will not be available until August 1.

Now I'm starting to get nervous about my order. No shipment email yet. I know it's not late yet I'm just ready to get my hands on the stuff.
Don't worry, I haven't gotten my shipping email yet either.
I went with priority mail though, so I expect my turn will come later in the process.
Paizo has an experienced warehouse crew that have been together for quite a while so no worries.

Oof, that was a weird auth. It still shows my canceled books. Since I'll be picking it up at GenCon I imagine it won't be a problem adjusting if need be.
Yeah - that and the system's penchant for showing books which have already shipped in previous orders is one of my most frequent source of stress when it comes to Paizo shipping emails. I've just about made peace with it, but it still does worry me from time to time.

Wow. Glad I stuck with cheapest, even then it was still $78 to NZ.

Still haven't seen an auth email go through, same issue that happened last month when my AP didn't send out. Still not seeing an order number.
Anyone available to take a look? Was hoping it would pop after the Gen Con auth's but no luck yet.

Thanks, but it has been flagged for Gen Con pickup, I have never been to Gen Con and am NOT attending this year. I replied in that post with this information too...
Also 143 was not shipped in June and should be shipped with my subscription as well as the condition cards...
Seriously hoping his can get resolved, had a feeling something was off, this is going on 2 months of issues with my subscription....

Both packages in my shipment entered the black hole called "destination MI facility" three days ago. So far, they haven't come out, and repeatedly refreshing the tracking pages makes not a bit of difference. Just like every month. :-)

I do not recall seeing or hearing that they are nearly done with shipping.
I just got one of my shipping notices today, with the other one being held up because something in that shipment isn't in stock yet. If they are in fact nearly done, they would need to push the item(s) they don't have back into my sidecart so that they can complete my second shipment.

So, are they still packing and shipping regular orders? A couple of days ago Diego said they were almost finished. I still haven't received a shipping email.
I think he was speaking about the authorisations being nearly finished, not the shipping (that'll go on all the way into August, most likely - most GenCon months there are a few subscribers who dont get their shipping emails by streetdate).
If you've received an authorisation email but not a shipping email there's probably nothing wrong.
If you didnt get the first "we're about to ship..." email, I'd start a new thread as I think the authorisations should all be done by now.

I did not get an authorization with the rest. They aren't done shipping so if you got your authorization and everything looked fine you are probably still in line.
Diego/Forum Customer supports tried to assist because I had not gotten authorization, but there was still something wrong. It got flagged for Gen Con pickup.... I am not going to Gen Con....
Call support, Sam on the phone was super helpful and having real time answers to their questions got the order fixed properly.
