I am running a Curse of Strahd game in R/L, so I'd love to get in on some Ravenloft goodness.

4d6 = 14Cannot go wrong with rolls like that. I'll look at the characters that are currently in play and will get something written up for it.
EDIT: After looking at the lineup, I think perhaps a good old fashioned cleric will do. Looking to be a Cleric of the Morninglord, if that is doable? Probably human, may be a half-elf.

Stat Generation: 4d6 drop lowest 6 times, if you roll appallingly you can do 27 point buy as per the PHB.
Races: Let's keep it basic, the residents of Ravenloft are a superstitious bunch, they don't like their monsters right up in their faces...
Feats and Variant Humans are both allowed.
Setting: The Domain of Kartakass (for now)
Gear: As a 6th level character.
Background: You can be a Ravenloft Native OR a resident of any other world who wandered in through the mists. I will take 2 PCs but one should be a native Kartakan.
Firearms:
Renaissance Firearms & explosives are available, but rare, and are treated as Martial Ranged Weapons, stats in the DMG p268. Note that when you run out of ammmo it may be some time before you can re-up your supply so be prudent.
Recruitment will close June 9th.

I've run parties of single classes (back when I had time) so I've no issue bringing in duplicate classes if I like the submission so no worries.

Here's a character sheet for Louis Morrow. I only have equipment left to do, and I need to fill in the personality bits. I had written a whole backstory, but with a wrong push of the button that disappeared. I'm going to re-write it now, but that might be done later today.
The short of it, is that Louis is the son of the owners of a road-side inn. Early on he took jobs running errands, and now he's dreaming of running his own stage-coach empire. A sort of fantasy styled pony-express.
He's made a name for himself as being dependable and trustworthy, and recently got licenced by a well established guild making it easier for him to score jobs.I was wondering, does such a guild exist in Kartakass? Otherwise he could be from Fearun and got swallowed up by the mists. Also, you mentioned equipping for a 6th level character. Are there guidelines for that somewhere? Oh, and I went with average hp for now. Hope that's okay?

I'd have him be from Faerun where you will step into the mists (circa the 1360's or 1370's as I am not a fan of 4E spellplague stuff) OR the land of Darkon in Ravenloft and in Kartakass on a current delivery job - your choice :-)
No guidelines that I am aware of specifically. Just go ahead and outfit with what's reasonable, I'll probably simply add appropriate character level magic to each accepted PC, you'll need them.
I do max HP at first, thereafter for each level you can take 1/2+1 or roll for HP, your choice at each level but once you roll, that's the number you are stuck with if you choose to go that direction.

Say I really am doing that ranger range build and we could use some melee beef. If you are set on that, I can redo my build into barbarian or fighter etc and go melee if Shadow allows
I always allow rebuilds to increase PC enjoyment in my games :-)

I definetly wouldn’t mind changing to a hand-to-hand combat Ranger, but seeing as you’re already at the table I’ll leave the choice up to you Nezter. Just let me know what you prefer and I’ll follow suit.

This is KingHotTrash! I realized that I had just not finished up my history for my character and never submitted him just about twenty minutes ago. I apologize if the history seems rushed but I wanted to get him in and see how if he'll fit what you want for the campaign!
