I think combat takes too long. I like to use any shortcuts possible to limit turns and end battles in a timely fashion. That we can get back to adventuring and intrigue; the real fun!
Kobold Cleaver is leaving the boards, or at least cutting back his activity here. That's my grievance.

I thought up that one after seeing this one suggested on the whats in a name thread.
It's 5:10 AM in my time zone (Central US) and I've not been able to get a wink of sleep, no matter what I've tried. I have a full day later on and I am currently quite unhappy about this situation. I very tired, very sleepy, but actual sleep eludes me. I can't even work on this weekend's adventure I'm so beat. So I've lain in bed, wasting time, and cursing the normally comforting darkness for its mocking my attempts at sleep.

Thanks, Doc. It worked for about 3 hours. And this morning I awoke at 3 AM and now it's 5:30. I usually get about 8-10 hours sleep a night, but yesterday morning and this morning it seems I'm destined to not achieve that. So cast your spell again and see if I fail my save!

Hold still I might still be able to manage a D20 Modern Knockout punch.
I finally fell back asleep for about 3 hours. So apparently I'm partially immune to sleep magic. Next I'll try Bruce Leeroy Jenkins' idea.

I'm leaving Sunday for Paris, then Lisbon, over to Edinburgh, and Finally back home.... and I haven't a stich to wear.
My PFS group changed from Wednesdays to Tuesdays so that two more players can join in the group. I have to work this Tuesday, so I miss a game...

Well, I'm selfishly glad I didn't miss a session, but maybe we should come up with an in-game reason why a character is missing. When our inquisitor has been absent a few times in the past the GM ruled that he'd used his ring of teleportation to go back to our home base. My cleric created a sanctuary and has scrolls of word of recall that he can use to go back there. Maybe he could have gone home to get something he forgot. ;-)
My best player (and the one who's been with me the longest - 30 years) is thinking of "retiring" from gaming once the current campaign we're running ends. His goal is to reach 20th level. Right now he's close to 14th with 3 Mythic Tiers. I'd hate to lose him after so many years, so I hope he changes his mind when that time comes.

I can never seem to find a good-fitting pair of pants. (Trousers, for those across the pond.)
I have pants that when I put them on in the morning, they feel snug, possibly even tight. But if I don't wear a belt with them (Which I seem to forget/think I 'won't need it' frequently) I'll be hiking my pants up all afternoon, or else walking around with my pants around my knees. And it's rapidly becoming winter up here in Canada.

My grievance: I hate Pathfinder's overabundance of numbers to track, but love its possibilities. I'll be running my next PbP in Pathfinder, because it's the system I know, but I dread the bookkeeping. If only it was possible to adapt Advantage/Disadvantage to PF.

Grievance: Reading comprehension. Or rather, the lack thereof.
Thread comes up about how to defeat a high-level caster, and I write up a list of obstacles that you'd have to overcome, including 24hr/day flight, the ability to live in a private plane of your own making, the possibility of being warned by God that the attacker is coming and go chill in heaven until it's safe, etc.
Somebody replies (to my post in particular) with the grand conclusion that he'll "just use ranged attacks". Solved!

It bothers me how some players and DMs downplay how effective magic can be. Unless the caster is completly caught by surprise and no preparation whatsoever. One needs more than ranged attacks. It's like saying that one is simply going to walk up to the Wizards tower and simply and easily kill a sleeping Wizard. It's not as if he or she has any magic spells prepared for such a eventuallity or anything.
