...
Mythic is for wimps. Demigods are where the real power is.
Arg! Look, it's not an "initiation" if you're all doing random things without any requisites!
This is totally you guys just choosing to do this for no reason!
And, for the record, suicide charges at boss monsters are also not part of any "initiation" ceremony!
... IF I had one, it'd be, like, drinking a small cup of sweet tea or something.
I approve.

Technically this guy is an Aurumvorax but I liked him better than the one bear avatar I found, and the resemblance is close enough.
Works for me!
I am going to take a nap now...
zzzz....zzzzz...zzzzz
Good call.
I have a woodchuck question, but.... you probably don't want to hear it... never mind, it's not that funny anyway... Um, where's your bathroom?... never mind I'll just hold it in.... can I get some water...
1) Feel free.
2) Why not?3) Your call.
4) In the area labeled "bathroom". Yes, in my house. Written in pencil on a taped piece of paper for company.
5) Bad call.
6) Not until you go use the restroom. Alternatively, there are bushes outside, away from the house.

SHHHH!!!
I am trying to take a nap here.
Highly recommend you learn how to do so in a noisy environment. It's the only way I survived college.
I know you're probably busy, but did you get a chance to start reading that script?
I am and yes - but not much. Still, very interesting!

Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings.
Well the best way to deal with those is to take a *yawn* nap.

In 1500 posts, people who cared probably ran out of stuff to ask. Not to mention we've kind of made the concept blasé by flooding the OTD forum with AMA threads. Plus, sometimes stuff slows down. I noticed especially on the weekends the forums get like half the activity. Nobody has commented in mine for almost four days, and I actually had a side topic and seven people talking about making a tea based PbP game.

He shouldn't be able to follow you here, where we're waiting for you anyway.
I mean, he could, but why would he?

My oldest is finishing his last day of his first year of school today!
Woo~!
I'm happy for you! That's great!
I'm even happier that you didn't say "graduating kindergarten"!
1) it's kindergarten. Admittedly it's way harder than I was as a kid (my pre-k teacher friends have kids writing and doing simple math already), but it's one year.
2) it's not fair to call it a graduation when you have to go right back in two months. It's not even moving up to a new school. It's still elementary. Preschool is more of a justified "graduation" thank K.
3) it's setting them up for disappointment when they don't do this every year. Kids have ridiculous memories at that age. My brother could remember stuff from when he couldn't talk when he was five.

My oldest Survived Kindergarten, all the girls in her class were catty, the boys didn't like her because she is super athletic and not only stomped them in games and such but was also humble about it, which as we all know, 6 year old boys won't stand for!
then as if that wasn't enough her wonderful teacher got sick a month in and she had a rotating cycle of substitute teachers, each one more like the caricature from the Wall then the last, i mean horrible evil school marm cliche bullshit (one teacher wouldn't let her go the bathroom because she didn't believe she had to go! we called people about her, didn't work, she's still filtering through torturing random classrooms with frontier schoolin')
and then, and then the last two weeks, she had a fractured wrist on the playground and the nurse never called us, Penny didn't tell us until later that night, anyway she had a cast on for the rest of kindergarten (2 weeks) then the last day of school she got out of school immediately went to the doctors office, got her cast removed and had a super b#**@ing summer, she still doesn't like talking about kindergarten:-)

What do you do when you get depressed? Besides favoriting posts on the Pazio messageboards. ;)
Really, this is a deep and important question... but it's hard to answer simply.
There are various meanings for "depressed" and some people suffer extremes or medically, so it's difficult for me to talk about in a way that most can agree on... however, I'll suggest that I don't suffer the medical "cyclical" form of depression (the one that you get locked into and it's hard to get out of), but instead I do occasionally have the more common "colloquially speaking" form of "depression" (where you're in a really "low" period, emotionally speaking, for various reasons, ranging from the sensible and reasonable to the just plain lame).
The short version is "whatever makes me happy that isn't a bad or stupid thing to do (presupposing I recognize when an idea is a bad or stupid one)" but that's really kind of deceptive - more accurate, but less insightful would be "it really depends on what's caused the 'depression' in the first place"... but that really doesn't tell you much, as previously mentioned.
In the end, the most informative answer is that "I usually spend time crying and praying, being alone, and then either 'wait it out' knowing that it will end, or distract myself with something 'fun'... or both" with a side of, "if I feel that I can actively do something to help resolve the situation, I do".
Hope that helps!

"A surprisingly loquacious individual with propensity to listen to all sorts of things and know exactly what he shouldn't"
This for a D20 modern campaign or something similar? (Gothic Earth? is that still a thing?)
