TL- don't favorite this post.

...And that's what a Vice President is for: So I can favorite it, and he can favorite this thread where I pointed out that I already favorited that thread, especially considering it has that thread in this thread's quote.
But, but... you didn't. ;-(

You start a meme one time and suddenly it's with you forever.
Ah, I see whacha did there!
And TL, wraithstrike told me once if you post enough with one alias it will show your most popular alias name when favoriting...at least on PC, if you hover over the name...cause I still need to click and thumb through aliases to remember it's him when "concerro" pops up. Though it's James' thread, my guess has always been "aboleths, dragon turtles, and kraken" though that's just a "fill in the holes" kind of thing I've appended in my own mind. :D

Keeping a list of things that will make PETA mad is a hopeless task.
Instead, try to keep a list of things that will not make PETA mad. It is much, much shorter.(Incidentally, I really, super respect the idea behind PETA. I think they're just really, really bad at what they want to do, and they actively make more enemies by their dialogue than allies.)

Hey Buddy...... Didja get that fave I sentcha?
After checking my first page of "Favorited by Others", I'm afraid I have to say, "Not that I'm aware of."
Sorry! But you could always link to it. I like knowing what other people like. :)
Alternatively (depending on what you mean), I totes favorite'd that one post! (Though it's already off of my first page. >.>)
Thank you, Tacticslion, for your recent Likes of my posts in James Jacobs' thread.
I don't think you play PFS, but here is a post in the the PFS General Discussion that could use some Like. :)
I like stuff! Also: done, as I agree. :D

Do you ever feel tempted to fave your own posts, Tac? :-)
Yes, actually! ... though not really much anymore.
Some of my older ones (when it was still possible for me to keep track of things by Favorites) still have my own lingering mark on them for the original purpose of keeping track of them. That is no longer possible, but I haven't bothered to dig through them to see which ones are which.

I don't nearly make as many favorites as you do, but I used to use favorites for the same reason (and still do to some extent by using control+f to search for words on my favorites page). I've found myself using the 'list' feature to keep track of things a more reliable option.

Page one, sixth from the bottom! Links to lots!
Page 3, on the bottom! Fun!
Not mine, but totally needs favorites!
No one continued the game! Alas!
Feel free to go through any of those and cherry-pick what you like (either the posts with links, or the posts those links go to, at your option). "None" is also the correct response! Also, on my profile, there are several that have done quite well for themselves and/or I feel are important.
Either way: enjoy! :D

Oh I was hoping for just one post...I mean I have a life and don't have time going around favoring every post...um...
Not that you don't have a life or anything like that...um
I am just going to go look at the posts of your to favor now.
*sneaks off the thread*
As I said: feel free to cherry-pick! Like, seriously, just pick one, look at it, and figure if you like it or not, favoriting 'pon that decision alone! I'm not demanding. Whatever you feel like! (Including "none"!) :D
EDIT: Hah! That works! XD

thegreenteagamer |

...I don't have the attention span to jump in a thread I wasn't already drawn to by it's title, read through the entirety of it's content to understand the context of the linked post, and favorite something. Link me something with two pages or less of previous conversation If you really want my input.
Seriously, I don't even look at a page if I haven't already dotted it, unless it had under 75 posts when I started reading it these days. Anything you see me posting in with hundreds of comments I've probably been lurking silently in since the beginning.
Or the Ask JJ thread, mostly because I had legit questions and I've been following since that point.
Also, his answer to my Shackles / Eye question was bologna. There's no way deep sea travel is more dangerous than a magical permanent category 5 hurricane. We've been able to cross oceans for hundreds of years, but a hurricane is still to this day darn near suicide to sail into.

ECOLOGY
Environment warm plains
Organization solitary or herd (6-30)
Treasure masterwork hellknight plate barding (stitched); exotic military howdah [a riding box plus a ballista], tusk blades
These large land animals, majestically wandering the plains in tightly knit family herds, are symbols of wisdom and strength. Having few natural predators, elephants are sometimes hunted for their ivory tusks. These tusks often become jewelry, statuettes, and trinkets for the wealthy.
So...
In case it's not clear, the forest dragon is (willingly) possessed by a shadow demon. They've been together for so long that they've almost fused, and have decided to invert the "shining knight v. dragon" trope for fun. They're mostly just roaming around causing trouble, chaos, and death.
The opening scene with them will involve the PC - Lady Firedove's character - having hunted them down to their layer in the daylight, and chasing them out, squaring off with a number of "allies" who will (in all likelihood), almost immediately fall prey to the twin auras of fear (with the few stalwart enough to stay and those who run likely getting eviscerated by a breath weapon, ballista, and other weapons).
The battle, while hopefully "won", is semi-quasi-pre-scripted. Both elephant and dragon can fly (no, just imagine a leprous, lesioned, scaly elephant with abyssal spikes and horns studding places an enormous bat-wings... yes), and after they take enough damage they're going to book it by flight (something the PC explicitly lacks access to, as part of her motivations/story). They will proceed to flee the area with no plans on returning any time soon (which the PC, having special thought-reading power, should hopefully know) despite vowing revenge and hatred, and the PC should have a broken dragonbane blade, badly damaged armor (both start off at least somewhat damaged from combat), and a complete lack of flight to pursue them.
Even if the PC manages to kill or take down one or both of them, the fact that they have flight and she does not, and her blade is broken, is meant to be a motivating factor toward the next actual adventure (the PC in question has no ability to fix such things herself).
So, I just thought I'd put that here. Hee.

I'm sure you could, LJB. I'm sure you could.
Uh... don't look into your initials. Don't act like your initials. This is a family-friendly thread. >.>
Oh yeah! That reminds me!
The elephant's howdah has constant abundant ammuntion in the part that holds the bolts, as well as a constant magic weapon, and command word unseen servant. The servants are made at will, to taste, and one lifts a bolt, one loads it, one cocks the thing, and one pulls the trigger, basically firing wherever the elephant happens to be aimed, getting a free (wildly made) "shot" off each round just for kicks and giggles.
(See, you activate early on, then use it during battle for "fun" openers.)
Heh. An extra 3d8+1 (rough average 14-15) damage per round at a random target. 6,000 gold. Nice.

I dunno, I lost all my san points a long time ago.
Besides, it's too late. I've now made PFS-official cannon chucks. All your fault.
