His name is Inigo Montoya...

Too many to name, though in this case, it would be the certainly not-left-handed Inigo Montoya.

Inigo Montoya

Correct! I promise these will get harder, but here's another easy one:

This Kitsune Fighter spends his time at the helm of his craft, flying across the far-flung reaches of the multiverse.

Fox McCloud

This more-than-Venerable Human Barbarian has the body of a man in the prime of his life. He kills only VERY special foes using his Vorpal Katana. When he does, the effect is usually accompanied by a Shocking Burst, often in an AoE form.

Hmmm, fun.

Here's a group. A Red dragon bloodline Sorc/Magus that specializes entirely in fire magic and unarmed strikes, his boreal bloodline sorc/magus friend that uses cold creation magic, a female gestalted fighter/wizard with only conjuration (armor and weapons) spells, and a female summoner that uses unique artifacts to summon any one or two of almost a dozen different powerful eidolons.

Routinely piss off authority and cause massive collateral damage.

Conner McLeod, the Highlander.

------------------------------------------------

This Synthesist Summoner was an inveterate criminal. With the help of his stellar eidolon and giant flying squid mount, he was nearly unstoppable.

Dark Archive

A female noble mouse arcane bloodline sorcerer who gains a human familiar in a young boy when he had purchased the mouse from a shop not realizing she was special. The two go on adventures together, though only after the sorceress mouse turning him into a mouse as well when threatened by a snake (hint: book series, book titles are puns on classics).

Fairy Tail/Tale I believe. Seen it a few times at a friends house but not an avid watcher myself.

Mmmhmm. Would love to play a character like Natsu Dragneel, the only issue is he'd have to be mythic and gestalted for his high damaging fire abilities and the fact they burn so hot he can actually hurt fire immune enemies (mythic part there)

While fairly late level stuff, the Pyromancer by....Either Fat Goblin Games or Little Red Goblin Games gains the ability to ignore all hardness, resistance, or immunity to fire at level 15. Beyond what you've said, I have no idea about the character however, so I have no idea if a pure caster class fits.

Hopefully wasn't already done, but it should be easy anyways.

A brawler wearing a mask who uses the Catch Off-Guard and Throw Anything feats to great success. He uses an efficient quiver to hold his various equipment that can be found at sport shops.

Can't remember his name....wasn't that the guy from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Casey or something?

DHAnubis wrote:

Casey Jones. You are correct.

Oh, I've got one. Category is video games.

A dwarven bard who specializes in his repeating crossbow. He's from a low magic setting, so instead of spells he gets sneaky rogue abilities.

That would be Dragon Age II as i recall, his name is Varric

Seems no one was able to guess mine, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised since I don't believe it was series very well know. For those that want to learn about the series I would suggest searching for "Ravenspell".

How about this one:

This Venerable Lawful Evil Sage Bloodline Sorcerer has just about reached the peak of his power. If he needs to, he'll battle opponents by casting Transformation and wail on them with his Brilliant Energy Longsword. However, he prefers to fight with magic, his favorite spells being Telekinesis and Stormbolts. When he has his enemies at his mercy, he tortures them using the Merciful Metamagic so as to prolong their suffering.

Emperor Palpatine?

This elven Investigator has the ability to shape change into any living creature she's ever seen. She's also in love with a human Expert who can't quite figure out how to make beer, given the limited resources of the dungeon they're trapped in.

This one is driving me crazy.

You truly do understand the power of the Dark Side of the Force.

(yes)

@ Gisher

It's answered on page 3.

This notoriously chaste paladin's most famous adventure involved a group of his fellow knights on a quest given by his deity to recover a legendary artifact, said to hold the power of life itself.

Thanks! That was my original thought, but I couldn't place the beer reference.

Galahad.

"A spanking! A spanking!"

Yes! Yes! And then...

Well, you know...

How about this? (It's probably a dead giveaway)

A human rogue that wears a white and red cloak of elven-kind that dispatches his enemies with either a longsword or two wrist-sheathe daggers.

No, no I say the Assassin's Creed 'hero' would be a Hitman, not a mere Rogue.

Hm... here's another one.

This chaotic evil goblin* enchanter likes to take control of other evil creatures, buff them up, and then set them against his enemies, though his control is sometimes not as complete as he believes it is. His current goal is to bind a powerful djinni to his command, but again he probably underestimates how much control he will actually have.

* Well, he kind of looks like a goblin anyway.

Aasimar oathbound paladin (Oath of Loyalty). He seeks to unite the world against his home kingdom, which has been taken over by a conjurer who has permanently bound four of the Malebranche. His distinctive markings are shoulder-length white hair and naturally purple lips.

As for personal relationships, he is engaged to be married to a cleric of Erastil.
---

2. Source: literature.

Human paladin/bard who is permanently under the effects of a philter of love; the character towards whom he is charmed is a human alchemist, the princess of a foreign kingdom, and is also charmed with respect to him as a result of the same magical drink. Unfortunately, this accident happened while she was to be delivered to his liege for a political marriage.

One of his greatest exploits was single-handedly defeating a Green Dragon, cutting off its tongue as a proof of the deed, in order to convince the foreign queen to marry off her daughter.

He is now a notable member of an order of paladins.

(In another, low-magic campaign loosely based on the same setting and order, the character was a ranger with a splash of cavalier, with a hawk as his animal companion. Though awesomely played by a Danish player, he ultimately fell to the campaign villain, a barbarian warlord trying to invade the imperial province that would soon become its own kingdom.)

1. Cecil Harvey and Rosa Farrel, Final Fantasy IV

2. Tristan and Isolde.

Aha! Maya from Space: 1999.

Haven't seen this thread in a while...

Correct!

This Ninja 3/Brawler 2/Gunslinger 5/Noble Scion 10 fights crime with his fists just as often as with his words. Though lawful to a fault, he has no hesitation to do whatever necessary to protect his monarch and nation, including taking the lives of those that's stand against him. He is particularly fond of wining and dining beautiful women, though most of these he uses as ways to gain information or strategic advantage.

This looks like fun!

Another that comes from video games (probably easy):

A group of six mercenaries.
1) Fighter? / Gunslinger / Synthesist Summoner who carries a very unique longsword
2) Brawler / Synthesist Summoner
3) Arcanist / Synthesis Summoner who wields Nunchacku
4) Sorceress / Synthesis Summoner who wields a whip
5) Druid? / Synthesis Summoner who wields a chakram and has a dog companion
6) Gunslinger / Synthesis Summoner who prefers rifles.

He later multiclassed into Bard in order to Inspire Courage through Speechcraft after getting the rest of his party to multiclass into Synthesist Summoner as well.

The main character of Gurren Lagann, Simon.

Here's one:

A LE Human Strategist Cavalier fighting an equally LE empire in a cyberpunk setting. Made a deal with a mythic witch to gain the ability to use Dominate Person once per person on any target he can actively see.

EDIT: Most of his followers are CG and don't realize he's LE.

I always saw Lelouch as a CG himself. Albeit a borderline insane one.

As an extension, I saw the series as an interesting conflict between Suzaku (LG) and Lelouch (CG) trying to accomplish the same goal.

Vyse from Skies of Arcadia?

also there's one I answered a while ago that no one told me if I was right or not...

This redhead Bard has a Magic Cloak enchanted with the Greater Shadow special ability given to him by a millenar Fey woman, and during his journeys he ended up dipping a few lvl's in Monk while training in a foreign country.

Human Order of the Dragon Cavalier who's gained and lost several exotic mounts. His banner isn't a banner at all, but the remnants of an artifact his enemies used to try and control him. He also has a ruby amulet that gives him an ungodly amount of buffs for a limited time.

His allies include a Vanara archer rogue, a hypochondriac anti-paladin, an extremely robust for his age magus specialized in making stationary defensive emplacements and governance who's also his father in law, and an enigmatic fighter clad in black armor who knows far more than he reasonably should.

Together they fight an evil empire/furry convention in earth's feudal future.

Why not, I'll play a little part in the charade here...

This golden blade has an ornate crossguard with a pommel, fashioned entirely out of ebon steel, an edge whose size would require those of mortal strength to wield with two hands. It is indestructible and can emanate energy waves to attack enemies far while also able to cut enemies nearby.

The sword has a mirrored foil, whose blade is silver and has the same ornate crossguard pommel design, fashioned out of gold.
