November 15th: All the October Subs should be shipped (unless you have Munckin Pathfinder in your order. If you don't know why your order hasn't shipped yet (ie payment failure or extra items added that take longer to arrive, etc) please contact customer service and we can look into this.

update: November 6th: We've shipped out the bulk of the subscription orders and are cleaning up the stragglers today and tomorrow. If you haven't seen your subscription order ship by the end of the day today (Nov 6th), please let customer service know by starting a new thread in the CS forums or by emailing us at [e-mail].

update October 31: We finally have an accurate picture of hw much is left in our shipping queue. The end is in site and appears to be around Tuesday. Nov. 5th.

Update: October 23: I've updated the shipping by estimates below. I've put in October 31st as the estimated end, though I am hoping it gets wrapped up before then.

Update October 21st: We've begun shipping! I've also added information for Pathfinder Comic #10 which has joined the October New Release schedule.

Update October 16th: Still experiencing issues with the subscriptions. It doesn't look promising for shipping today.

Update October 15th: All subscription orders should be pending now and we will begin shipping early tomorrow (Oct 16) morning (Pacific time). If you are seeing something amiss with your subscription order for October, please let us know ASAP via email, a new thread here in the CS forums or by phone (M-F 10a-5p)

Update October 14th: We are currently experiencing a few issues with getting the orders for the October New Releases set up and authorized. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this may cause. I will be posting updates to this thread when we have resolved the issues. Thank you for your patience.

After a fairly quiet September, October is near and with it are lots of new releases! It's shaping up to be a pretty big month with both a card game release and a hardcover release. Currently we estimate the main Paizo subscription shipment to take about two weeks to ship to all of our subscribers. We are making preparations in both customer service and the warehouse to help handle the higher workload. Comics are out a bit earlier than the main Paizo Subscription shipment and for those who choose to "ship as soon as possible" they will be shipping prior to the main shipment.

↬If you have anything in your sidecart that is ready to go, it will be shipped with your next Paizo subscription.
↬If you want to add anything to the order, you have until the authorization date to add it to your sidecart. If it is after the authorization date, make sure you choose to ship with the pending order number.
↬If you add an item to a pending subscription order and the added item has a "should ship from warehouse estimate of longer than 2-6 days, your subscription shipment will wait until that new item(s) arrive before it can be shipped. This may delay your subscription shipment!
↬If you need to make changes to the payment method or shipping address, you can make changes to the subscription until the authorization date, if it is after the authorization date, double check the changes applied to both the pending order and the subscription.

Okay, having a brain-fart moment. Do the PDFs of the Adventure Paths become available when authorized or when shipping starts? The only thing I can remember is that I get the PDF a week or more before I get the AP.

For subscribers, the PDF becomes available when your order is processed for shipping. During subscription weeks, that can mean one of two things: your order was packaged for shipping through our regular shipping queue or that your order went through our batch shipping process. Packages that go through the batch shipping process will get an email saying "...is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Friday, October 25th via..."

PDF's become available for purchase on the website on the retail release date.

I'm confused about something (sorry, I'm new). The Skinsaw Murders Adventure Pack is listed as Authorization: Oct 11. However, my card got charged Sept 30th late at night. It doesn't bother me, but that could really mess some people up if they're expecting the charge around the 11th, and it hits on a Monday. Also, I didn't think it was legal to charge a card more than a week out from shipping the item(s). Not trying to be rude or anything as I'm just concerned.

Going forward, you wont get pinged until the actual product ships each month. However, from memory since it's been a while, when you first sign up for a sub, Paizo's system runs a pre-authorisation. It's not actually a charge (if you watch it over the next couple of days, you'll see that it will disappear - the funds have been 'held' but not taken from your account) it's just a dry run to ensure everything is going to run smoothly when the actual charge goes through in a week or so.

It appears that Comic #9 did not properly spawn into orders. The tech team is looking into this and we hope to have the issue resolved soon.

Erik and I just finished adding the comics to all of the pending orders. There are 33 orders that shipped before we caught this issue. If your order already shipped, we will be sending #9 as soon as possible with free shipping as it should have ben bundled with Goblins #3.

If I'm a subscriber to the AP, and add a bunch of materials to my sidecart to ship with it, as long as I'm over $100 total (between the AP sub and the items i'm side-carting)I get the $10 shipping discount, yeah?

In specific, the items I'm going to add to sidecart are $93.xx and the sub is 15.99. Thank you so much! =)

As long as it is shipping in one order and the items shipping together (from one order) come to a subtotal over $100.00, you should get up to $10.00 off of shipping.

Actually, my order has an issue - Goblins #3 says it is shipping with the order I picked up at PaizoCon 2010. I don't see a debit card charge at the moment. Shipping notification forwarded to customer.service....

Might be worth checking if there's also an actual order spawned under "My Account > Order History", or whether it's just a false email you're receiving, in case the difference helps them track the problem faster.

There was/is an actual order spawned, showing today, although the order # itself is from 3 years back. Probably both were for PaizoCon 2010 pickup.

Yeah, they're having some order spawning difficulties right now. With two Pathfinder Battles cases brought into it—along with my other subs—my December order just passed $1000. I can take the hit, but I really believe this is just a computer snafu. I don't know if there will be anyone to correct this over the weekend, but I'm sure that it will be addressed by sometime on Monday at the latest.

This always happens whilst the spawn is happening. One part of the system says'october subs have been generated' but another says 'your subs aren't generated yet, to the next subscription with you!'

Once the auth spawn fully completes, everything fixes itself and all is good with the world for you.

Except that my Subs have been screwy for the last week or so, way before they actually started the spawning process.

First, I had an October Shipment, a November Shipment and a December Shipment listed.
Then, sometime within the last week or so, it swapped to just an October Shipment and a December Shipment, and the Munchkin: Pathfinder that was in the October Shipment had changed to the December Shipment.
Now, all I have is the December Shipment with everything from the 3 months Shipments included in it.

My prediction of "saturday or sunday" was overly optimistic. We won't start shipping until this issue is resolved and the auth has finished. (Current estimate of Monday night)

Flash, the November items actually experienced a delay so you saw them move to their new estimates in December. It wasn't a bug, but rather you seeing Liz update then new estimated release date.

As someone with a lot of experience on the IT side of the mail order industry, you've got me really curious about what type of software you've got behind this, and how you're authorizing cards. Is it creating the orders and authorizing the cards one at a time? That's the only reason I can think of to have such a slow process.

I guess I'm just used to bigger companies that routinely run batches to authorize credit cards and send thousands of orders to the warehouse at a time in 20-30 minutes.

What is the status on Pathfinder: Munchkin?
It was originally part of my October Sub (it's in my sidecart) as it is relesed this month, but now it's been shifted to the December Sub (since there is no longer a November Sub).
Will it be available this month after all in time to be added to the October Sub or not?
