wanted to give a heads up that while SciFiCity is a chain of stores across America that are great places to shop and play, no one associated with the stores are active members of the community, and do not have actual convention boons.

is there some issue with someone associated with the store chain mentioned above who is offering to trade Convention Boons that they don't have? I mean, if I offered to trade my Grippli boon for example - it would be one that I received at a CON (or in a trade/Gift from someone who got it at a CON), I would offer to trade as a private individual... I mean, I work at the USPS, and I would likely ship the Boon using the USPS, but that doesn't mean that the USPS was associated with the Boon I was trading.

Did you earn them from an online event?

Having your name and PFS# is actually what the organizer is supposed to do. If/when you trade them, you are to write "Traded to" or "Transferred to" on them somewhere obvious and write in the name and PFS# of the person you are trading with. That way if someone does an audit on their chronicles, the history of the boon is clear and there should be no question as to its authenticity.

Its part of the chronicle sheet earned for playing a certain scenario. Sorry, but I won't spoil which one. Just some friendly advice, before trading boons with someone online, do your research. We have encountered a few people trading altered and/or photocopied boons using questionable accounts. Meaning they are creating new accounts just to have a "clean" avenue through which to trade. If you are trading with someone you do not know personally, be very careful, especially if you are giving them a "valuable" boon in return.

Just a point of note Kitsune are still always available, you don't need a boon... That said nothing saying you can't want the boon.

Hang in There: Your soul tenaciously clings to life in the most dire of circumstances. You may cross off this boon to allow yourself to be targeted by breath of life as long as you died within the last 3 rounds, rather than in the last round as typical for this spell. Alternatively, if two PCs at the table possess this boon, they may both cross off this boon to allow one of the PCs at the table to cast breath of life once as a standard action in the next 24 hours; this is a spell-like ability with a caster level equal to the casting PC´s character level. This ability functions even if her character level is less than the normal minimum caster level to cast the spell.
