Unless someone pulls out some significant cash, this will be Razor Coast's second biggest day of funding. We've gone past Day One's number.

Excellent!

@Tom Knauss: Good news! Thanks for that! You shall have to join around the table if I can cajole Tim into playing a game I run!

Welp, there goes another $20.

Indeed. And however much the add-on for HeroLab/d20Pro will "cost" if it gets there... if I knew how much that would be, I would increase my pledge now to help make sure it happens. *nudges the Frogs that be*

After my first experience with HeroLab at Paizocon (in which I lost an entire afternoon to the bliss of rapid-fire and fun character generation), I gotta say - we need to hit that goal. Let's sail into the horizon!

Here on the KS page max is 90k so I would guess we'll make all of those

Isn't it time every player at the table had a hand, every round, in sinking the enemy ship? Building on the winning entries of a contest to create new rules, authors Lou Agresta and John Ling wrote a book to turn those ship toys into your own Master and Commander-style sea battles. If we fund and reach this next stretch goals we'll bring you a complete subsystem of ship-to-ship combat in the book, Fire As She Bears for both Pathfinder and Swords and Wizardry.

  • At $90,000 we will create the D20 Pro maps and Hero Lab Data Files so you can RPG with your friends who are not at the table or to make the gaming experience that much easier. So help us reach our stretch goals and we'll make the Razor Coast Mega-Campaign available for both electronic formats.

We've hit the HC player's guide but the main goal for me now is Fire As She Bears: more content!

Wonderful folks indeed, and yet, mediocre one, there seems to be someone missing from your praise. Can it be that, once again, your reedy campaign has been slashed, scuttled and quashed by the presence of one of her Majesty's subjects and the magnificent adventure Angry Waters, which I humbly dedicate to her service? Ah, the joy of not being spoken about by Louge, how I've missed it....

Ok just to make sure I'm understanding how this is working.
As an original pre order in the UK I pledge

$110 which is bumped to the 150 for the book plus players guide and PDF swag.

$40 Dollars for Heart of the Razor addon physical book.

and theres no need for the $20 dollars postage correct?

Sovereign Court

If we want add-ons (I want Heart of the Razor and Player's Guide) do we pay now?

When do we specify the add-ons we want?

If I understand everything (and how it generally works I think) is you pay now and a survey will be taken afterward where you can specify which add-ons you want.

See? I just tried but nothing happened. Weird, isn't it?

But seriously, I'm just waiting for the day a Logue, Pett, Vaughan module is announced - nay, released - so I can be truly complete.

Congrats on surviving to see your ship out of stormy waters, with AweomeLou at the helm.

Sovereign Court

Upped my sub.

Weirdly the best way for me to stretch my limited cash is to get the $110 option and then add player's guide, heart of the razor and a pad of sheets as extras.

I'm really going to have to juggle some funds for this one, and I definitely won't be backing the gnome minis KS I was looking at.

Damn you and your brilliant products, damn you all to Dajobas!

Lou, Bill, Blondefrog (I just realized I don't know her name..): Scott over at Zombieskypress would like to donate his A Pirate's Life pdf to the cause. He contacted me because I had suggested he get involved.

(I cause more chaos and confusion...)

Could you guys email him at scott@zombiesky.com to work that out?

Also, Creighton Broadhurst at Raging Swan Press should be Iming one or more of you about donating something.

Stretch goals shall fall like Caribbean ports before the jolly roger..

Just checking if you are at the $150 level thus are getting "Heart of the Razor" pdf; it's still another $40 to get both Hardback & pdf?

Actually, it's been ready to break 85K for the last 4 or so hours. Instead of going up, we're losing money and at least 1 backer. This sucks!

Sovereign Court Contributor

Spread the word! That's the best thing we can all do. Spread the word, link people to the updates, ask them to check it out and maybe even back it.

I have to say, all the money pouring in is great. That support is great. But money is just about getting the content out, making that possible.

For me the thing I love watching tick up is the number of backers. As a writer and creator it's watching the audience grow that both thrills and humbles me.

So, yes, of course I want to hit the $ figure for Fire as She Bears and Hero Labs and d20 Pro support. I think it's a great book. And I think with Hero Labs and d20 Pro maps more people can enjoy and explore this work than otherwise.

But really, as an artist, I care about the audience more. More people having fun, more people spurred to creativity, more people laughing, making, crying, fist pumping - that's what I want.

So I'm off to chase the audience and spread the word. Seriously, if 500 more people come on, and they all pledge $1, I'm utterly thrilled. For real. Sure. If they all pledge $150, I'm thrilled too, but in a different way.

Chase the audience. If the money follows, it follows.

If it doesn't follow that's cool too - because the minimum is past, and the work can get made for us to enjoy.

Thank you all again.

Yeah IME don't watch a projects totals too closely they tend to go up and down like the Assyrian Empire in the short term, but up in the long.

Color me confused. Well it is hovering just above $85,000 and seems to be stalling out. I am not sure if people understand what FIRE AS SHE BEARS is, especially since they will have to pay for it on top of additional pledges to get there. Perhaps some more information will help explain it better.

I hope it funds then. Been looking at the site that makes the model ships for the KS. Might get some later for ship to ship. My wife wants one that is to 25MM scale to use minis and has all the decks accessible.

Sure.

"Art of the Duel" by Craig Shackleton presents historical information about dueling, both with blades as well as pistols. (Craig has actually been in the news lately up in the Toronto area because of his expertise in the field.) After going over the historical aspects, there are some new weapons and new feats.

"Blood Waters" By Greg Vaughan is a 7th level adventure set in the Razor Coast. It's designed to fit into the campaign, without being absolutely necessary. There are places within the book, though, where it'll say, "Hey, here's a good place to put Blood Waters." Blood Waters takes PCs under the waves with some great encounters.

"Dajobas, Devourer of Worlds" by Nick Logue presents all the info you need about, well, Dajobas - an evil god bent on destroying everything in the world. Along with the usual god text, there's a new domain, info about his followers, a new monster, some new feats, and some magic weapons. There's also a prestige class so you can make your villains even more frightening.

"Death Beneath the Waves" by Wolfgang Baur is a look at running adventures underwater. It goes over the rules, expands them a bit, gives the GM ways to lure the PCs there. There's some spells to help PCs cope with the environment, and a wicked nasty CR 11 critter to challenge your PCs once they're there.

"Mysteries of the Razor Sea" by Nick is an adventure designed for 1st level PCs. It's a fantastic intro to some of the lore and such of the Razor Coast.

"Shrine of Frenzy" by Brendan Victorson and David Posener is a 7th level adventure that deals with cultists of Dajobas and the superstitions of the native people, the Tulita.

"Still Waters" by Rich Pett is a 6th level adventure that takes PCs into the marsh. Good depth and the typical creepy feeling Pett injects into his adventures.

"The Warrior's Way" by Nick goes into depth about the Tulita, natives of the Razor Coast. Some feats, items, and lots of flavor and background.

Those are quick summaries, anyway. There's good stuff in all 8.

Someone mentioned earlier that kickstarter gives you a 7 day grace period to figure out money-stuffs. If that's true if could help you get your mitts on Heart of the Razor or Fire as She Bears.

Sadly any money I could use for this is committed for the new several weeks. Are you saying neither of those will be available? Even in pdf?

From the Kickstarter FAQ, backers have fourteen days for US projects, and 7 days for UK projects to correct payment issues. Hope this helps anyone.

That doesn't help me much. My bank usually manages to process the charge a day or two after the Kickstarter closes.
