Bottom line, we don't turn away sales. If during the survey you tell us - um yeah I meant to add that on, can I now - then we will accommodate and send an invoice for the remainder owed. Of course as stated above if you add it now to the Kickstarter everyone (including you) may benefit from future goals. Just a thought. Thank you for your support.

Thanks Blonde Frog! I'll take a look at my pledge tonight. Thanks again for making such great products!

Blood in the water, across the briny sea.

Love it!

heh, funny thing:

2 years ago I was in Hawaii. Went surfing for the first time (only time so far). Got up on the board, surfed in to the shore, thought to myself "Hey, this isn't so hard!"

Went off the board at that precise instant, hit my knee on some coral, and gushed like a stuck pig. Went back out for about another 20 minutes, until the knee swelled up like a baseball. got back to shore, and limped for the next 2 days. Knee full of coral. Still have the pretty scar from meddling in Her playground. Occasionally, coral grit still comes out. Weird.

Pele takes her blood. True story.

Good luck adventurers!

Something like that happened to me in the Caribbean about 12 years ago. I ended up disinfecting the scrape with rum.

100k! Yay.

Amazon is holding too much over my account for me to add-on Fire As She Bears: I too will have to grovel to the Frog God when the KS is processing.

Earlier someone posted that the cheapest way to get the 4 books (not including the fancy exclusive module) was $205+shipping.

Seems to me it is
110 = Deckhand level for Razor COast main book
40 = Heart of the Razor
20 = Razor Coast Player's Guide
15 = Fire As She Bears

$185+shipping

You can even chuck in a pack of character sheets and you're still saving on that $20 signature (generaously donated PDFs not withstading).

I hope that's one fancy-schmancy signature...

Apologies if this has already been asked, but what's the approximate page count for Heart of the Razor?

Gah! Sorry Ravenmantle. You asked about HotR and I responded about FaSB.

My bad.

Heart of the Razor (HoTR) comes in ~ 100 pages for Pathfinder.
Fire as She Bears (FasB) looks to be between 50-64 pages.

Regrets on any confusion.

Well, I'm in, to the tune of $207 Not bad for a dude who doesn't care for pirate-themed anything. Still, Logue + Agresta + Frog God + that big list of other great names (even that Prett guy Nick strangely keeps dignifying with replies)... must own. Thanks to everyone involved. Especially Lou for rescuing the product and FGG for enabling him.

I would never have purchased this back when it was proposed. What it's become? That's a different story.

Note to self for future reference (I can never remember the breakdown come survey time):
$150 + $10 (shipping) + $40 (HoTR HC) + $7 FaSB (PDF).

Yeah you miss out it being signed numbered and some PDFs, but if the pennies are pinching then a great deal for physical books.

105,666 as of right now. Seems rather fitting, with 33 hours to go. Looks like it will break 110k.

Unlikely though we will make it to $120k for the printed Players maps. They would be a nice add on.

For those needing a pirate bed! Pirate sheet bedding.. marked as children's but comes in queen size with lots of extras!..

Creighton very generously offered support, but his pirate-themed pieces are already supporting the EN World KS. We didn't think it appropriate to double-dip and want to leave those as exclusive to the EN World efforts.

When he raised that concern, I hoped you'd all agree on one of his "What's the Tavern Called" pdfs. Pirate ports gotta have taverns, right? Ah well.

If you haven't read anything by Raging Swan, I can't recommend the quality enough. I've got close to a dozen items (I think) and there is some excellent stuff. Retribution is the best first level mystery adventure I've ever seen.

Must... have... printed players maps.

Too bad that's not another add-on to lure 500 or so of us to chip in another $30 (or whatever) to break through the $120K mark!

An updated (and I think correct) look at the pdf portion of sponsorship. Just focusing on pdfs; not the hard copies.

You've got the campaign book (with 8 indulgences) and the Player's Guide pdfs at the $50 level.

Pdf of cover art for all backers
Pdf of Player's Maps (not specified for a level or all backers)

$110
Advanced Options: Fight Like a Pirate (Super Genius Games)
The Malefactor (Total Party Kill Games)
Q3-Death on Signal Island (Pacesetter Games)
Dead Man's Chest for Pathfinder (Necromancer)
Crimson Sea Pirate Galleon (0one Games)

$150 (includes those listed at the $110 level)
Super Genius Presents: A Brace of Pistols (Super Genius)
101 Pirate and Privateer Traits (Rite Publishing)
Grave Undertakings: Ship of Fools (Total Party Kill Games)
Bucaneers of Freeport (Green Ronin)
Book of Magic Pirate Spells (Jon Brazer Enterprises)
A12 - When the Ship Goes Down (Adventure A Week)
The Heart of the Razor - 4 adventures (Frog God)
A Pirate's Life (Zombie Sky Press)

I wanted to get the pdf stuff in one place. But since it plays a big part in the value, I'll add that at:

$110 - Hard copy of the Campaign Book.
$150 - Autographed hard copy of the Campaign Book and hard copy of the Player's Guide

Fire As She Bears can be added on as a $7 pdf
Herolab ($15) and d20pro ($37) or both ($50) files can also be added on
Heart of the Razor can be added on as a $20 pdf to the $110 level.

Corrections welcome.

A question about the product. Will there be a bestiary of monsters and animal companions accompanying it? I ask because admittedly, I really want a moa animal companion.

There are still stories that the moa is surviving. Personally I think the Fiordland moose are a lot more likely. More's the pity.

I just tacked on an extra $10 in hopes of making it to $120K and getting the player maps.

If all 662 of us already in tack on an additional $10, we would only be $1306 short of hitting that $120K.

All hands make sail!

I am hoping for the Players Maps as we already have all 4 of the Northlands Saga. Just got the last 2 for Christmas for the wife.

:O

I feel like if this makes it, this'll be the single greatest idea I've ever given to a kickstarter. Even better than the Wooden Promises bonus adventure I put in.

Also, I think I heard you mentioned on the Pathfinder Chronicles livecast on Saturday. Might've been from Azmyth or someone else.

I don't understand, we are goinng to compute Minute Of Angle for cannons? Oh, a flightless bird!!!

Almost there, my checking account is quivering in fear as I I'm sitting at Carpenter level and I'm a preorder. I wonder if I can get some print versions of Heart of the Razor in lieu of my original order in soft cover at least.

Ditto. A sweet bonus for backers who haven't explored the Northlands Saga yet, but I've bought all four and am waiting to pull the trigger on the fifth. What: is that Vaughan guy busy with some other project....?

Seconded, it's a pity, really; While I don't part 4 yet, I have Northlands Saga 1 -3.

Just an NS update for those interested: NS5 and the NS Campaign Guide are both sitting on my desk awaiting development as soon as this big piratey white whale will get out of the way.

So what is the map-packs like?
The rough handouts from RA Players guide? Or fine Cartographic maps? Or the square tiles from GamesMastery. Are they made out of card or paper?

Sorry for the questions and hoping that we get at least that far funded.

Argh! Too much nice stuff! I definitely can't go higher than the extra $110. I'm going to have to switch my reward to get a pile of extra books, instead of getting my pre-order signed.
Except that means losing Dead Mans Chest. BUMS! Can't decide.

Will Bethany ever be commercially available?

And I am spent up, as much as I can be.

The Exchange RPG Superstar 2010 Top 32

Hmmmm, is Dead Man's Chest for pledging $110 or for choosing that reward level?...

Liberty's Edge

Gha. OK, 3 hours to go. I’m a $110 pledge who gets bumped to $150 for being an original backer in the day. I don’t get the ship combat rules unless I add on $7? $15? $20? Please let me know and I’ll do it to help push further!

I'm in the same...er...boat, Jeff - I want the rules, but do I add on now or wait until the end of the kickstarter when I get my email and finalize my pledge?

Contributor

Hi DM Jeff and hedgeknight!

I think you add on now and the Frogs send out a survey after the KS closes which you use to tell them what the extra money is for.

Paraphrasing previous answers from Blondie...

When they get this incarnation of the mini from Reaper, they'll order some extra and sell them through the FGG website. When they're gone, that's it.

There's talk of making a slighly different model, that won't officially be named Bethany Razor but will look similar. That model will be widely available.

If I got any of this wrong, it's Lou's fault...

$7 for a PDF version of Fire as She Bears and $15 for a print copy.
